Welcome to our “Holiday Apartment 2” in the “Strandstraße 17 Holiday Home” on Borkum. It offers cosy comfort for a relaxing getaway by the North Sea for up to three people. Just a short 10-minute walk—and you’re at the boardwalk and the beach. The town centre is just a 2-minute walk away.

"Holiday Apartment 2" features a total of three rooms, including a separate bedroom, a cosy living room, a separate kitchen, and a well-maintained bathroom with a shower. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, modern furniture creates a cosy atmosphere, and beautiful island paintings add that special North Sea charm. A particular highlight is the lovely view directly onto the adjacent park—ideal for enjoying nature right in the middle of the city.

After a day at the beach or a bike ride, you can relax and wind down in the living room, which features a sofa, armchairs, and a TV. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone.

For convenient self-catering, you’ll find a fully equipped, enclosed kitchen—complete with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, and various small appliances. This makes it quick and easy to prepare snacks for your outing or delicious meals. A dining table provides space for chatting, enjoying a holiday breakfast, or sharing dinner together.

The large, separate, and inviting bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a spacious closet for your holiday wardrobe. The sofa bed in the living room (140 x 200 cm) provides additional sleeping space.

The well-maintained bathroom, featuring a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, and mirror, ensures added comfort.

For longer stays, additional amenities such as a vacuum cleaner and a clothes drying rack are available. A closet is also provided so you can conveniently store your clothes and travel essentials.

At the “Ferienhaus Strandstraße 17,” you’ll enjoy a holiday where everything is close by. The cosy town centre, with its shops, bakeries, cafés, and restaurants, is practically right on your doorstep. In just 2 to 4 minutes, you’ll be right in the heart of the action. This is also where the train station is located—the very place where you’ll arrive on the local train and kick off your holiday.

After a 10-minute walk, you’ll find yourself right on the bustling promenade, where you can enjoy the view of the sea. You’ll already feel the fine sand of Nordstrand beneath your feet—perfect for a spontaneous dip in the North Sea or a leisurely stroll along the beach. During the season, wide sunbathing areas, numerous beach chairs, and attractive sports facilities offer opportunities for both relaxation and active pursuits.

Away from the beach and the sea, the surrounding area offers a variety of options for a diverse stay. You can explore the island wonderfully by bike along beautiful paths, sample the delicacies of North Sea cuisine, or round off the day with a cocktail on the promenade overlooking the sea. If the weather isn’t cooperating, the nearby “Gezeitenland” water park invites you to enjoy holiday fun and wellness.
