The residence location is great relative to activities in Treviso. It is walking distance to a lot of local attractions and activities. The accommodations were sufficient except the first two days without air conditioning, which was an advertised feature. We contacted the host numerous time about the lack of air conditioning with little to no response. Our sleep the first two nights was very poor due to the heat, which is the last thing you want on vacation. Finally on the third day, and after having Italian friends contact the host, a friend of the host showed up and we finally found the air conditioning remote control under papers in a bottom drawer. We tried operating the air conditioning using the remote but the batteries were dead (which makes me suspect the comment from the host that a technician had tried it just before we arrived). Most other VRBOs that we have used had a package of information about the unit, how to operate appliances, etc. This residence had no information at all.
