Nordkiek No. 8 - Holiday apartment with sea view balcony

Whether it’s your first cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at sunset: the north-facing view towards Denmark guarantees unforgettable moments.

The holiday rental is located on the ground floor and is accessible via a staircase. The living area is the heart of Nordkiek No. 8. A cosy two-seater sofa and a reading chair invite you to relax in front of the TV or with a good book, while the dining area right by the window offers a view of the Flensburg Fjord. From here—as well as from the adjacent rooftop terrace—you can enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the Baltic Sea at any time of day. A tabletop fireplace creates a cosy ambiance in every season.

Our guests can also enjoy a cosy barbecue on the large shared terrace downstairs (there are two other holiday apartments in the building) or simply take in the relaxed atmosphere (on the quiet back side of the house) with a small view of the sea.

The apartment accommodates up to four people in two lovingly and harmoniously designed bedrooms:

Master bedroom with ocean view: Equipped with two beds pushed together (each 90 x 190 cm) and comfortable mattresses. Due to the building’s construction, the solid wood frames of the beds create a noticeable separation between the mattresses. In addition, a decorative wooden trim adorns the sides of the beds at head height, underscoring the special, unique character of the interior. A special highlight is the small workspace right next to the ocean-view window—ideal for creative moments or an inspiring “workation.”

Second bedroom: A cosy retreat with a double bed (140 cm mattress).

The choice is yours: We offer you the option to bring your own linens to help keep your holiday costs down. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide our linen package (bed linens and towels) as an optional extra—whichever best suits your travel plans.

Peace and relaxation: For a more restful sleep, all windows facing Haffstraße are triple-glazed and soundproofed.

The separate kitchen is modern and functional. A small dining area for two people complements the extensive standard amenities, which include a stove, oven, a small dishwasher, as well as a kettle, microwave, and toaster. The kitchen also features a classic drip coffee maker (size 4 filter bags)—perfect for a cosy start to the day.

The bathroom is bright and inviting, equipped with a tub-shower combination, toilet, sink, and a window.

The location stands out for its immediate proximity to the Baltic Sea. Just 500 metres away is Westerholz Beach, which offers a variety of recreational activities, including a DLRG lifeguard station, a swimming pier, a playground, and a cosy café.

Renovated in 2026, this apartment is a wonderful starting point for long walks, bike rides along the coast, or simply relaxing days by the sea. A place where cosiness and a love of the coast come together.

Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

Ideal for groups: The apartment is part of a house with a total of three living units. This offers the perfect opportunity for couples who are friends or larger families to travel together while still maintaining their own private retreat. In addition to this apartment, the following are available in the house:

“Nordlicht” Holiday Rental: A cosy retreat for up to 2 people (with a dog)
“Ankerplatz No. 8” Holiday Rental: Plenty of space for families or groups of up to 5 people (with a dog)

When booked together, the house becomes the perfect starting point for shared experiences on the Flensburg Fjord.

For longer stays, a separate utility room is available in the house for shared use. A washing machine and dryer can be used here for a fee. Please note: This area is functional and a bit dated, but it offers a practical way to freshen up your holiday wardrobe if needed.

A bus stop with a direct connection to Flensburg is right next to the house.
There are also free public parking spaces (approx. 6 spots) just 15 m from the house.
