Beautiful Views and great location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Parc Na Realta. Every evening we were greeted with a lovely view of the sunset over the mountains and ocean. The location was central to the Ring of Kerry and provided a great launching point for our adventures.

Great place to stay in Kerry

This is a cosy family home with superb views towards the Dingle peninsula. It is just off the ring of Kerry but since the house is rather elevated you will be isolated from traffic noise. Would definitely recommend

A home rich with chararter and scenery

The home is owned by a warm family with rich history and much respect by the local community, had beautiful views of Dingle bay and Rossbeigh beach, was surrounded by hiking trails and charming small towns, and had everything we needed (a well equipped kitchen and beautiful sunroom) to have a very enjoyable stay.

Just Wonderful

Took the children and Wife had such a great stay, The house is so cozy. Beautiful landscape better than the pictures. Kids Loved it , Quite windy but was expected. One of our best trips yet. Thanks Nick

Peaceful retreat

We stayed here from 12th august it was supposed to be until 25th August, unfortunately my mother in law died suddenly and we had to leave very suddenly early on the 20th and make the very sad heartbreaking journey home. This house and viewd are breathtaking

Peaceful Kerry experience

This house is beautifully appointed, very comfortable, spectacular views and a wonderful place to totally relax in. On the doorstep is the Kerry way and is suitable for long walks or short strolls. Wonderful beaches within 5 mins by car. Nice small towns for stocking up with supplies. Some very good restaurants in the area also good pub meals nearby. We would highly recommend this delightful home and the beautiful area of Dingle Bay for a holiday in Ireland. Much to offer all ages. Car essential.

Irish Gem

Beautifully appointed and warm home in private setting. Great sunken fireplace area for rainy days (sometimes it rains in Ireland). Large breakfast area with aged wooden table and sun room with striking views. Close enough for a trip to the Balsket Islands for a reminder of how the hardy lived not too many decades ago. Other highlights of our stay were blackberry picking on the winding driveway, horse races on a nearby beach and close by lanes where walking is comfortable and prompting thoughts of the farmers who used the same paths in generations past. We had the feeling of a need to rise early and retire late to enjoy every moment of our stay.

Wonderful home from home accommodation

On entering through the front door of Pairc na Realto it felt like we were "home". Welcoming sitting room with a fun conversation pit had us excited.Could there be more? Then we saw the sun room. Although the weather does not always oblige, many an evening meal was enjoyed in this cheery, light and cosy area. Bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and adequate space to unpack and unwind. And then the kitchen! A chef's delight. Feelings of space and freedom accompany you throughout this home. Close to restuarants, post office, convience store and church. Hurry on a return date!

Ireland revisited

The location and view were outstanding. The house is spacious. However, it was disappointing as the photos on website were taken some years ago and reality did not reflect these. The windows had cobwebs inside and out and were dirty, but a window cleaner was sent to sort this out. Pity it wasn't done before we commented. There were a lot cobwebs on the ceiling and dust on surfaces. However, the beds were clean and had fresh linen and the kitchen was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, there was a lot of home owner 'stuff' in drawers and cupboards in the master bedroom. We don't really want to see this when we are on holiday. The weather was amazing and it didn't stop us enjoying our time in Ireland. Beautiful scenery and mountains and amazing beaches nearby.

Wonderful vacation home!

The pictures and descriptions of the home were very accurate. The veiws from all rooms in the house are breath taking. The location is quiet and serene. The house was very clean and welcoming. It is very well equiped. The housekeeper met us at the house to be sure we knew where everything was located and how to operated all the necessary equipment. The owners went above and beyond with regard to providing infromation about the house and the places to eat, see and visit around the home; even to the extent of providing emergency contanct information. The golfers enjoyed the challenge of Dooks, we enjoyed eating at the Towers Hotel, the drive around Kerry and Dingle are equally beautiful, and Muckross was gorgeous. I would most certainly recommend this house to others and would love to stay here again, if I have the opportunity to return to Ireland.

Glenbeigh Retreat

Our group of seven ranged in age from 10 to 80 and this house suited all our needs in every way. There was plenty of room and more importantly with 4 adults and 2 teenage girls ample bathrooms. The location could not be more perfect, the views are stunning, we got many beautiful photographs without much effort. Loved that we could walk down to the corner shop and cafe, everyone we met was very friendly. Took a different day trip every day, never had to travel for more than an hour, highlight for everyone was probably Dingle and the boat trip to see Fungi the dolphin, pretty amazing! We coulld have stayed for a month and still not have seen everything. The walks from the house were great, you could go for miles without meeting any traffic except maybe a tractor. We made the most of the long light evenings and then would come back to watch the sunset with an evening tipple in hand, perfect! We would definitely reccomend this house to anyone, Kerry is a beautiful county and this house is in the perfect location to enjoy it all.

Disappointing stay

Arrived at the house which smelled very musty upon arrival. Cobwebs everywhere and general sense that this property isn’t actively maintained. Main bathroom floor was dirty and toilet leaking, second shower had almost zero water pressure. Multiple alarms were beeping which we had to place outside as couldn’t fix them. Phone which we need to contact the owner when we lost power in half the house had awful connection. Generally speaking then property needs maintenance and updating. Information provided on Vrbo and at the house was outdated including our point of contact who no longer works for the property. Nobody reached out to us. Prior to arrival..it was on us to connect and find a way to get into the property. Finally there was supposedly a Welcome package at a shop down the street that was shut until Tuesday after our Saturday arrival. Not sure if there was a package there at all as this was mentioned in the outdated paperwork work provided. Overall very disappointed in what we experienced for the amount we spent.

Wonderful home, superb location, helpful owners

We rented Pairc Na Realta for a first time trip to Ireland in June 2009, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. It is located in a spectacular mountain setting along the Ring of Kerry overlooking Dingle Bay. The views from every side are amazing. Our family of 7 ranged in age from 6 to 74. The large master bedroom at one end of the house was an ideal spot for the grandparents while the other 3 bedrooms at the opposite end of the house served my husband and I and our three children perfectly. The play room with ping pong table was a huge hit with the kids, and the spacious sunroom was spectacular. It was hard to decide each day whether to take a day trip or to simply relax and enjoy this beautiful home and setting. On our day trips, we explored Valentia Island, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Ross Castle. When we wanted to stay “home” we visited nearby Rossbeigh beach which was absolutely beautiful. The water was a bit cold for the adults, but the kids jumped right in! All 7 of us even enjoyed a horseback ride along the beach. It was the first time my two boys had been on a horse, and it was perfect. Our holiday was wonderful as was this holiday rental, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that perhaps the best part of our experience was our interaction with the owners. From the minute that I made an on-line inquiry, Nick was helpful, informative and efficient. The booking and financial transactions were handled flawlessly, and Nick was instrumental in helping us to plan our many day trips. He even called during our holiday to make sure that everything was well. Also of note is the friendly welcome and advice given by Clara who showed us around the house upon our arrival. She too was willing to help us with any needs and even set up the horseback ride on Rossbeigh Strand when we inquired. I highly recommend this rental. We are already planning our return trip! Thanks so much to Nick and Oonagh for their lovely home and for the ease in which they handled the rental process. This has truly been a positive experience.

Fabulous House with Great Views/Location

Had a fabulous week with our family of five at Nick and Oonagh’s beautiful house with fantastic views of Dingle Bay and the Ring of Kerry. The house is very large with four bedrooms, large living room, recently renovated kitchen with top of the line appliances and most importantly the new sunroom addition with 270 degree windows overlooking Dingle Bay and the Mountains of Kerry. They have a great gas grill outside to cook meals. In addition they have hundreds of books on Ireland, especially the Ring of Kerry For my two grown sons and myself this was mainly a golf vacation week and this was a central location for us to play four of the most fantastic links courses in the world; Waterville (40 minutes), Ballybunion--#6 course in the world (80 minutes), Tralee (70 minutes and Dooks (10 minutes) Although not as famous as the other courses Dooks is absolutely beautiful plus the cheapest as well. Each course has fabulous clubhouse with great drinks and food and views during or after the round of golf. Highlights of the week other than golf were: Horseback riding on Rossbeigh. Hiking on the Kerry Way direct from the house going toward Cahersiveen—one of the most beautiful hikes any of us have been on—went two hours out and two hours back—great for a picnic or sunset—incredible going thru 12 owners gates, shooing sheep and goats and their babes off the Kerry Way, seeing the way people traveled for hundreds of years, and the views of the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle and Dingle Bay were magnificent. Wish we had hiked more while we were there. Also hiked to the near beach as well as well as to Rossbeigh Beach. The boat trip to the Skelligs is not to be missed with the 6th to the 12th Century beehive huts that the monks of the monastery stayed in Skellig Michael. Almost forgot about the great day at the Lakes of Killarney and the Ross Castle, Muchrose House and the hike to the waterfalls. We needed at last two weeks to see all the beautiful sites. Restaurants that we thought were great---Glenbeigh Hotel (close, cheap and delicious), the O’Neill’s Point at Cahersiveen looking across to Valencia Island, and Sol Y Sombra in Kilorgan—in old church (fabulous atmosphere and delicious food). Thanks to Nick and Oonagh for letting us use their Irish getaway house and all the good advice they provided us on what to do.

Sehr geräumig, gute Ausstattung, allerdings sind die Bäder etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft und das Haus ist sehr gemütlich auch bei schlechtem Wetter grandios. Sehr sauber, die Installation in den Bädern ist eher aus den 80-90er Jahren. Küche ist gut.

Die Fotos entsprechen der Wahrheit. Problemloses Check-in. Willkommensträuße bei Ankunft (wie lieb), sehr familiär ausgestattet (wie zu Verwandten kommen). Etwas muffiger Geruch (bleibt bei der feuchten Witterung aber auch nicht aus). Ausstattung der Küche war OK, einzig ein größerer Topf/Schmorpfanne wäre gut. Für 6 erwachsene Personen eine warme Mahlzeit zu kochen war etwas tricky. Keine Kaffeemaschine, doch French-Press(für uns super) vorhanden. Spüli, Tabs, Seife, Handcreme Spüllappen, Trockentücher, Handtücher, Kuscheldecken, alles da (die rochen auch nicht muffig ;-) Reichlich Platz für uns. Auch schön, dass Schlafende nicht gestört werden, wenn in der Küche hantiert wird (durch Flure und Türen abgetrennte Schlafbereiche) Der Wintergarten war der Hammer (diese wunderbare Aussicht). Durch nicht so sommerliche Temperaturen und flüssiger Sonne war jeden Tag der Kamin an (!kauft gepresste Holzbriketts/-Rollen, das Kiefernholz ist einfach zu nass). Wandern von dort aus war gut möglich (zum Wasser, wie auch in die Berge). Wir waren mit Mietwagen da und daher auch sehr flexibel. Das WLAN war bei 6 Nutzern etwas langsam. Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft und sehr empfehlenswert.

Emplacement exceptionnel, maison confortable, hôte prévenant qui s'exprime aussi en français. Très bon séjour pour visiter le Kerry. Le chemin de randonnée du Kerry passe au pied de la propriété, avec de belles balades à faire.
