This four bedroom, three-bath home located in the Kauai Visitor Destination Area (VDA) is the perfect base for your next family vacation on Kauai.

The house features two private master bedrooms and two additional twin bedrooms for children or guests. Bedding configuration is 1 king, 1 queen and 4 twin beds.

Beautiful hardwood bamboo floors in the bedrooms, granite master bath vanities, new shared bath vanity top. Enjoy vaulted ceilings, tropical island-style furnishings, fully-equipped kitchen, garden windows throughout, and a private enclosed front courtyard. The backyard opens out to a sweeping greenbelt complete with wonderful mountain views. The central courtyard is equipped with a large patio table, gas BBQ grill, and lounge chairs for your enjoyment. Located on a cul-de-sac with easy public access via a beautiful greenbelt pathway you’re a short five minute walk to Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt. Brenneke Beach and Poipu Beach Park are also close with a great children's swimming area, snorkeling, and picnic area.

We live in the California Bay Area. We have 3 children and visit this house every year approx 2-3 times. We consider it our home away from home and our kids love the island and all its activities. We always discover something new on each visit.

Why they chose this property

We bought this house after visiting Kauai numerous times. Our first visit to the island was to the north shore to backpack the NaPali coastline. Since then, we decided to buy on the south shore due to its centralized location, resort feel and drier weather. We know you will love the location in Poipu since the house is within walking distance to 3-4 different beaches, restaurants, shops, pool and tennis.

What makes this property unique

Our extended family love the privacy of the inner courtyard, the closeness to the Grand Hyatt and the beaches, and our parents love the single level and openess of the house.
When our kids were younger, the inner courtyard and greenbelt in the backyard were a great place for the kids to play.
