Great spot for a short vacation

Excellent quiet location ideally situated for a stay at Naramata. Easy to get to the village, nice short hikes and bike trails nearby and lots of wineries. The view is truly amazing and it was wonderfull to eat breakfast, lunch and supper out on the deck, surrounded by peaceful woodland and still be able to go wine tasting and to the beach!House is clean, well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. The boys enjoyed the table tennis and fooseball while their parents soaked in the view!

The property does have fantastic lake views and is very clean. The house has plenty of room and is well appointed. For the price, it would be nice to have a hot tub or other outdoor amenities that overlook the lake. We never did find the firewood for the wood stove in the basement, which would have taken the edge off on a cold October night. Overall, we would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. In particular, the beautiful view was amazing, and the deck was fabulous...so nice to have it covered yet with an option to be in the sun. The house was very comfortable, especially with air conditioning. Sylvia was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay there again AND recommend it to friends.

Nice long weekend in the backcountry, surrounded by nature and enjoying the lake view.

The property has beautiful views from all angles on the deck and from the living room. The home was very clean and comfortable. Quick drive to the beach. We biked it most days. The owners are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Wonderful stay. Would go again.

We had a great stay at this VRBO. The house was as advertised. The views spectacular! A few more amenities in the kitchen would be helpful: non-wood chopping board, salt and pepper shakers with salt and pepper in them, potato peeler, etc.

Great base for wine tasting

Great location with stunning lake view and plenty of space. We enjoyed returning to the house after a day of wine tasting and made good use of the bbq and well appointed kitchen including sharp knives! Beds were very comfy with good quality linen, towels aplenty and lovely hot showers. The house is older but spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished...we would definitely stay here again.

A great location in the middle of Naramata wine country

This is a great location for adult travelers, especially those visiting the many wineries on the Naramata bench. This home is also located near Penticton with many restaurants and services available. The home is well furnished with comfortable beds and furniture. Furthermore, the rental is quiet with a wonderful veranda and dining area that offers beautiful views of Lake Okanagan. We would rent this property again

Near the KVT

We enjoyed our week here. The house is clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The rooms are a good size and the basement is cool when the weather heats up. The Kettle Valley Trail is just up the road and the town of Naramata with a nice beach is a five minute drive away. We recommend this property.

Nice property for casual vacation

This is our second year of staying at this property. Works perfectly for groups with small children. The deck, which has an amazing view, keeps children safely contained. From the deck, we saw deer, an owl and many different birds in the trees. Close to all the wineries, beach, and a short drive to Penticton.

We traveled as a family of five . . two Grandparents, a Daughter and Grandsons of seven and four years old.The accommodations were as stated with lots of space and plenty of activities for everyone in between outings.One surprise we had was that one of the bedrooms was downstairs. As it turned out, this gave us a sense of privacy for the two groupings. We loved the large covered deck with chairs and dining table that easily sat six! Evenings on the deck overlooking the beauty of Lake Okanagan and the lights of Summerland on the opposite shore were delightful!Mornings brought wildlife sightings of owls, a black bear, Stellar Jays, Quail and more.Sylvia provided prompt attention to any of our requests!The only sporadic issue we had at the rental was the bedroom a/c being finicky. Sylvia advised later that she had that a/c replaced.We would definitely be happy to book a stay at this rental again!!

Scenic and Tranquil

Our stay at this house was amazing! Nestled in a scenic and tranquil location, this property provided the perfect retreat for us after a busy day at the Megavolt E-mountain bike races. The views were simply breathtaking, and we enjoyed every moment spent on the roomy deck, taking in the natural beauty that surrounded us! The house itself was incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating our family with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there were plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable, from good-quality linens to entertainment options. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a scenic, tranquil, and spacious getaway. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Spectacular Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean with almost all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. I would suggest the knives be replaced or re edged, they are ok to cut most vegetables but they made a mess of the piece of smoked tuna and salmon I tried to serve for lunch. The close proximity to KVR, beaches, wineries and fruit stands was great. Early morning in the covered deck was tranquil and a great place for birdwatching with our 10 month old granddaughter. The lake views and sunsets over the mountains from the deck and living room was terrific. We hope to be back. Thank you Sylvia.

Kelly and I have lived and run a successful business here in Naramata for 20 years. Living only 1/2 km away, We originally leased this cottage out on a year to year basis, and this year, decided to do some renovations and rent to vacation renters who appreciate and love the Okanagan as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of the panoramic lake views this cottage has to offer. There are vaulted ceilings in the living room, which has a wonderful picture window facing the lake, spacious bedrooms with 'oh so comfortable' beds, a newly renovated Galley kitchen, and 3 newly renovated bathrooms with a downstairs family room filled with things to do on those quieter nights and the odd rainy day, large, private, covered deck facing the lake (so you can enjoy your wine during sunset), and forest with a babbling creek on the other (an excellent view of local wildlife such as quails and deer which visit from time to time)..

What makes this property unique

This private property is surrounded by tall cedars, forest and lake views. The large, level lot offers plenty of parking for your boat. This property is close to local beaches, and only a short 15 minute drive to Penticton.
