The Property
Unwind and relax at this 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom rental property located just ~ 200 yards from beach access. This access point has no public parking so this stretch of sand tends to be less crowded.

After a day in the sand and sun, return to a tranquil corner of Kure Beach, right next to a protected forest. Rinse off in a refreshing outdoor shower and foot wash at the end of a white stone path.

The Space
This rental property consists of the lower level of a 3-story house. You will be the only party occupying the house during your stay – an upstairs area (for the homeowner’s private use) will be unoccupied.

This space sleeps 4. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and Keurig coffee maker. We have wireless internet, DirecTV in the living room, Roku in the larger bedroom. There is central AC/heat and front-loading washer and dryer for your use. Bed linens, bathroom towels, and beach chairs for 4 guests are provided.

Activities
Kure Beach is a quaint beach town with colorful beach cottages and historic homes. Kure Beach offers beautiful beaches, natural surroundings and plenty of attractions such as an aquarium, park, restaurants, fishing pier, and war memorial/museum. Just 5 minutes up the road, explore the Carolina Beach Lake Park and its exciting events – weekly farmer’s market, chowder cook-off, music festivals, and outdoor movies at sunset. Be sure to visit the famous Britt’s donut shop, along with several bars, shops and restaurants on the Carolina Beach boardwalk. Wilmington is a 20 minute drive and offers a battleship museum, waterfront restaurants, special events, shops and nightlife.

Great beach house!

Excellent stay

Property is terrific. Very updated, clean and beautifully maintained. Nice neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Our hosts, Jen and Cedric made a change that they didn't need to in order to accommodate a last minute problem. The only reason I would give this property a 10 is that I can't give it an 11. Nice place and wonderful trip.

Beautiful Accomodations

The home was beautiful, very clean and spacious. It was the perfect location. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the beach but with privacy for peaceful mornings having coffee on the porch. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed our whole experience. We also appreciated the local recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Late winter Kure Beach retreat!

The property is very quaint, clean, and overall fairly well appointed. Loved using the outdoor grill, but the base supplies and kitchen utensils provided for guest's use were a bit minimal! Finding only 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry pods, no garbage bags, warped, scratch-worn nonstick frying pans, dull knives, and cracked backs of one of each set of outdoor plastic chairs (green upright and red Adirondack inspired) for porch or back yard seating was disappointing. The provided beach chairs gave our mid-60's bodies a bit of a challenge to get out of! LOL The beds and linens were very comfortable, offering a choice of firm (Full) to medium firm (Queen) mattresses and ample pillows to choose from. The availability of outdoor eating at the picnic table on the deck was great too! The location at the end of the street provides a peaceful sanctuary, while still being able to hear the ocean waves crashing. I loved walking down the drive, turning right to the adjoining street and seeing the magnificent sunrise each morning as I walked to the beach. Carolina Beach State Park is a short drive away affording 9 miles of walking trails through a variety of habitats. We saw a great deal of wildlife (birds, fox, dolphins) It was lovely!! We enjoyed Fort Fisher State Historic Site to the south, as well. I would definitely come to stay here again! Thank you!

Where the woods meets the shore. The sounds with the tree frogs and wildlife . So out of the way but yet so close to the beach. The only thing that could have made it better would be better seating in the living room, not so comfortable or cozy.

As soon as you see the property, it is very welcoming. The home is very spacious, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. It is only a short walk to the beautiful beach. The owners were very friendly and answered any questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Great home, great location

This vacation property was perfect for our family of three. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We walked or biked from the house to most everything - the fishing pier, "downtown" Kure Beach, Fort Fisher, the disc golf course, and of course-- the beach. Enjoyed coffee in the am and cocktails in the pm on the front porch. And the outdoor shower is awesome. Lovely home and kind hosts. Highly recommend to others and hope to return in the future ourselves.

Hidden Gem

This was a great property to stay at! We were impressed with how clean it felt when we walked in, you can tell the property is taken care of well. It’s in a very quiet area but close to plenty of things to do and the beach. Just be aware that the mattresses are on the firm side.

Great escape from the cold

This Kure Beach property is perfect, just as described in the listing. The space is large and open. Easy to relax in and feel at home! The short walk to the beach was no hassle. We enjoyed watching the sunrise. Fort Fisher Blvd was no problem to cross in the off season! Kitchen essentials provided were great for our meals at home. The few dishwasher pods, dish soap, sponge and paper towels helped get the vacation started without having to rush out. The few laundry pods and hand soap in the bathroom were appreciated. We enjoyed reading and having beers on the front porch or in the back (for the sun). The neighborhood was quiet and so relaxing. We were thrilled to be in Kure beach and not Carolina beach. Thank you Jen and Cedric for sharing your lovely beach home with us. Our first visit to Coastal Carolina has us wanting to return!

Comforts and convenience of home- by the beach!

My husband, young son, and I had a wonderful time at Kure beach. The property was comfortable and homey- everything we needed was available and we loved being a short walk away from the beach, boardwalk, and local coffee shop. We enjoyed the park nearby as well- it was the perfect place for our son to bike around and not have to worry about traffic! Some of our favorite local spots were The Veggie Wagon, Flaming Amy's, and Nollie's Taco Joint. Thank you for sharing your piece of home with us!

Beautiful home away from home….

The property is absolutely beautiful and is exactly as pictured on VRBO. Super clean and spacious. Owners were very accommodating and provided detailed instructions along with contact numbers in case we had any issues. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Third stay...great as always

Jen and Cedric are first class. The property is clean, modern, close to the beach, and reasonably priced. We have stayed here three times, and may very well return again in the future. Upon our arrival this year, we realized that the internet line had been cut during construction at the lot next door. We texted Jen and a repairman was there the next day to fix it. We have had many interactions with the LeFebreves during our stays, and have nothing but good things to say. This rental is great for a family of four, and we highly recommend Kure Beach, this particular property, and the landlords.
