About this property

Lovely Long Lake Cottage

This Long Lake cottage is very nicely furnished and welcoming. It is located off Route 302 on the western shore of Long Lake, just a mile beyond the Naples causeway.

Offering private lake access, with 50' dock system, plenty of dock space for one boat, includes swim ladders for easy water access, sandy bottom lake frontage for swimming. Watch the Naples 4th-of-July Fireworks from the dock.

Large deck and enclosed porch provide options for enjoying time both indoors and outdoors.

All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners.

Renters are responsible for furnishing their own towels.
Sheets, pillow cases and pillows are provided.

Cottage is set back 200 feet from lake, just a short stroll from deck to dock. The path to the lake crosses the driveway that services this cottage and 4 other cottages beyond this property, so traffic is minimal. Hopefully, you'll find the short distance to your private dock and swim area from your cozy, comfortable, and private cottage well worth the steps.

Please, no smoking in cottage.

Walk to Naples Causeway for dining, entertainment, as well as many summertime activities.

Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage views.

Rental period runs from Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival Time: after 3pm.
Departure Time: by 10am.

As cancellations are only reimbursed after the property is re-rented, it is suggested that renters consider purchasing a Travel Protection policy like the one offered by VRBO.

Beautifully kept cottage in a great area of Naples/ Long Lake. Everything was terrific! The house is very well taken care of and perfectly cozy. The sun porch is where we spent most of our time! The dock is a quick walk across a path that opens to beautiful Long Lake for a swim, boat ride, or just to sit and take in the sights. The owner was kind and very responsive.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Our family of five with two teenage boys and an almost teenage boy had the perfect week at the Lovely Long Lake Cottage! We did lots of local activities and day trips, but our best family time was right at “home”: swimming, fishing, kayaking, ping pong and firepit-lit cornhole. Family meals were easy in the well-appointed kitchen or on the grill—enjoyed in the spacious dining room. The cottage was immaculate and living and sleeping areas were comfortable for our family of five. We hope we can return for another trip some day!

Our family had a perfect week at the lake swimming, family ping pong tournament, s'mores by the fire. House was clean, well maintained, had all the necessities and is super close to town. We definitely want to book again next summer!

Relaxing stay at Long Lake

This is our third year at the property and we enjoyed ourselves as usual. The location is quiet and private with only a very short walk to the beautiful dock and lake. When the weather was rainy, we enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch. Having the kayaks available is a lake activity we always enjoy. The welcoming firepit has been upgraded with lights and the owner keeps dry wood available. We also enjoyed the occassional game of ping-pong in the barn. Owner is very responsive.

Great family vacation

This family vacation was all we had hoped for. The property was beautiful, so clean, neat and comfortable. The host was available anytime we had any questions. He responded almost instantly. We loved boating on the beautiful lake and loved the ping pong table. It was a great family vacation and I cannot Wait to return. I have already requested to return next year.

Cottage Charm with Modern Feel

This cottage is wonderful. It has that cottage feel but the furnishings are modern and everything you need is there. The owners were a total pleasure to deal with and they clearly take pride in their property. The location is perfect at just over a mile from Naples yet it is quiet and private. The dock is large with plenty of space to relax and easy entry into the lake. I have stayed in several cottages in the area and this was easily my favorite. Thank you to Peter and Kathy for such a great week!

Great Maine Lakeside getaway

We loved the cottage, spacious for a family with a couple of teenage boys giving them their own space but allowing us to hang out together as well. The cottage was stocked well with amenities and it was nice not to have to bring sheets, only towels. We enjoyed using the kayaks, playing ping-pong and swimming in the lake. Owners were available and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and we did not mind the very short stroll down to the lakeside.

A perfect week on the lake! Home was very clean and had everything you could need. It was very nice Peter leaves some waters to get you started, and s’mores. The dock is in great condition and the chairs and bench are great to sit and admire the lake. We rented a boat 2 days and it was great to dock it there overnight. We all loved the swim platform to jump off of. The lake is pristine and not overtly crowded with boats. We took the boat through the lock and down the song river, which was really beautiful and peaceful. We made a day trip to the coastal Maine botanical gardens which was well worth the trip to see the giant trolls! Kids 17, 15, and 8 all had a great time and said it was the best vacation! They fully enjoyed the lake- and the ice cream shop in town is the best! Thank you Peter for being a great host!

Great getaway

This was our second year at the cottage and it was wonderful, again. Very relaxing spot to enjoy time with the family including three teens 17, 18 and 19. Cottage is well stocked, very clean and provides us with ample space to hang out together yet not feel like we are always on top of each other. I think the teens like that the lake is a very short walk away so they have some privacy. They got to fish and swim while we got to enjoy the kayaks that are provided. The barn is great to play ping pong and music. We enjoyed the updated fire pit with swing several times. Love that there is an enclosed porch as well as a large deck. Many options for enjoying the morning coffee. The hosts were also readily available and welcoming. We loved our stay at lovely Long Lake cottage.

Beautiful property!

This property was everything we were looking for and more! The house was immaculate, the yard is very well taken care of, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the owners even left items to make smores, how thoughtful! There is a short walk down the hill to the lake, but we liked this as we have small children. There is a new dock with Adirondack chairs (very relaxing) and a floating dock for the kids to swim to and jump off, so fun! My favorite was the sun porch where I would have my coffee in the morning and gaze at the lake. We met the owner Peter upon arrival, he was very nice, and stays close in case you need anything. Can't thank him enough, we had a wonderful time!
