Beautiful setting, great for our large family vacation, plenty of space, host was friendly and knowledgeable about attractions in the area. It was so nice to have the pontoon boat!
Great property. Host is very nice and helpful. Check in and out was easy! Lots of room for vehicles and trailers. House roomy with many sitting areas. Outside property very well maintained.
Beautiful, peaceful setting, yet close to town. Saw deer everyday!! The house is so spacious and perfect for large groups. Will definitely stay again!!
Fantastic location. Extremely clean. Spacious for large families. Has all the comforts of home with exception of air conditioning (we used a lot of fans!) Very kind, considerate owners who went above and beyond during our stay. Thanks Del & Jerry for a wonderful week! See you next year!
Yes-Would stay again! FYI-There is no AC/forced air so house a bit damp. Bring house shoes or slippers & towels. They have tons of fans for circulation, well stocked kitchen, WiFi for rainy days, washer/dryer, fridges, great indoor & outdoor spaces. Owners are so kind & hospitable! We had adults and kids who had lots of fun swimming off the pier - deep and sandy bottom. Rented Del’s pontoon as well.
We spent our annual week at Tall Pines and loved it. LOTS of swimming, perch for breakfast, card games, campfires, etc. There is lots of room and everything we need to be comfortable.
House is big & love the open concept. The beds are pretty rough but plenty of room & baths! The walk down to the water is very Great home & lication!!steep & har
The home was spotless. It was even nicer than the photos online. The Host worked with us and was so accomodating!! We couldn't ask for any better :) Thanks again!!
We had a group of guys for a fishing weekend. House was very large with plenty of room and sleeping areas to be comfortable. House was clean and well stocked. Thanks again
Had a great time! House had lots of room for our group of 9. We could have brought more! It was clean and comfortable. Host is friendly and helpful. Close to town, while still feeling out of town. Lots of parking. Nice dock for our pontoon. Would stay here again anytime.
The host was very nice, they live next door so they come check in on you. I thought the place was spacious. little outdated. The Pontoon rental was a nice touch. I would recommend taking a little time in fixing the kitchen cabinets and silverware drawer. We had to bring our own towels as the place does not include those. Otherwise everything else met our standards.
We rented this house for our annual fishing trip this year and it was great for our stay. Really liked how large the main living space was. With 11 adults there was room for everyone to sit and get around. Also with 9 beds everyone had a place to sleep. Plenty of parking for all the vehicles and was great that they had a pontoon with the house available to rent. The house is a little older with a few quirks but exactly what I’d expect for an up north lake house at this price point. The hosts were great as well, would certainly stay again.
This house worked great for our family of 7 adults. Since the weather didn’t cooperate and we weren’t able to be outside much, a good portion of our time was spent in the large, open living area with windows overlooking the lake. Had we stayed in a smaller cabin, we would’ve felt cramped and on top of one another. Plenty of room to congregate as a group to reminisce and tell stories or break into smaller groups for puzzles, cards, board games, etc. We would highly recommend staying here.
Our family found this home to be just about perfect for our family of 10 with 3 young boys. What we really liked was the 3 different table areas which included a large enough table for us to eat at, as well as for game playing & multiple sitting areas. A couple adults needed to check in at work and were able to find a quiet space. Renting the pontoon was a real plus for us & allowed us to fish, go to the Pirate Hideaway and dock & swim at another beach. Great deal. The children had fun swimming off the pier & found a municipal sandy beach nearby with other children. Did the ski show, mini golf & shopped in Eagle River. Nice kitchen, comfy beds . Great host, nice people. Only issues were steep steps for older people but it gave us a great workout.
Very nice property on the lake. Close to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed the large deck, pontoon boat and large dining room table that accommodated all 8 for meals and playing cards.
The house was spacious for our group of 8 adults and four kids. Plenty of bathrooms. Loved the large living and dining area. There was a dry bar we took advantage of along with extra refrigerator in the basement. We used the deck for every meal. Beautiful setting on Yellow Birch Lake. We swam by the pier and the bottom was nice and sandy. Great location close to town and great access to places along the chain of lakes being on the water!!
Plenty of space in the home to relax at the end of the day, Very nice dock and fore pit area. We all had an amazing stay, Thanks for sharing your place!
Overall, the cabin and surrounding area was very relaxing. Our family consisted of 2 adult kids and 2 kids under 6 + mom and dad, we had more than enough room. Next year we are going to book the cabin and have our extended family join us as well for the week. Rented pontoon boat through owners it worked great for fishing and cursing with our family of 6. The pier was sturdy and had room for 2 additional boats. The living room/ dining room is spacious allowing for multiple activities to be going on at once. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Water pressure was low in the showers, but that is expected for a cabin. The wild life was friendly, the kids feed the deer out of there hands, the deer also came up to the window and watch us eat dinner. There was lots of area for parking. Bonus features, the basement had an additional standard refrigerator and in the dinning room there was a beverage frig and a wine fridge where we stored our drinks. Overall we had a great vacation and can’t wait to do it again.
House very comfortable. The shower in the master bathroom leaves something to be desired. Live deer out the window was so cool. Some instructions would have helped what to do with trash etc and what to do when leaving. Very convenient location. Overall stay wonderful
We had a lovely time. The location on the chain was convenient and having the option to rent the pontoon on site made arrival super easy. Great for kids and adults. Kids went fishing, boating and we spent time at some fun spots like the pirates cove and restaurants nearby. Lake was calm without many other boats. There was a gas grill available and the kitchen had any dishes you would need. Be sure to bring your own beach and bath towels. There was no AC but lots of fans and the house stayed pretty cool with all of the big shade trees during the day. We hope to return next year

Could use some updating. Unfortunately a storm hit the week before lots of clean up to be done. Very uncomfortable with the heat and humidity.
There are multiple seating areas in the great room, and each seat is exceptionally comfortable. Some of us were playing games, others watching TV, and still others having a discussion, yet we were all together and could interact with each other. It was a very enjoyable week with the family. Del was so friendly and informative about the home as well as the lakes, restaurants, and Eagle River in general.
