Beautiful Views and Sunrises

We had a wonderful stay at Podere Casenova. Luigina was a very gracious hostess and greeted us everytime we saw her with a beautiful smile and warm greeting. An added bonus is Argo, the golden retriever farm dog. The apartment was charming and met our needs in every way. We used this as a base to explore Chianti, Montepulciano and took the train to Florence for a day. The farm is truly interesting. We knew about vineyards and olive orchards, of course, but was surprised to see how much tobacco is grown here. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the views were fantastic. Every morning, we were greeted with a panorama of mountains in the distance, hanging fog halfway down the mountain and large vistas of fields. There was a bottle of wine waiting on our arrival from their vineyards! We would most definitely stay here again if we return to this region. Thanks Luigina!

Super schönes Ambiente, Wohnung sehr sauber und gepflegt, Pool fantastisch: einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Vermieterpaar ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine rundum schöne und entspannte Ferienzeit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank!!!

Tuscany Vacation

Our experience here was very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and we had an incredible view of the Italian countryside. Luigina was a very friendly person and allowed us to make adjustments when necessary. The kitchen came equipped with everything we needed except for an oven; everything was newly installed. The location was also very great as we were able to travel to various destinations close to the plot. In addition, we were very pleased to receive a free bottle of wine on behalf of Luigina and her farm.

A great place in a beautiful location.

Luigina and Sirio were great hosts and provided a wonderful place to have a relaxed and comfortable holiday. The pool was fantastic and the apartment was full of rustic charm. The views from the farm were amazing and our kids enjoyed very much playing with Luigina & Sirio’s grandchild. This holiday allowed us to experience the real Italy and spend time with some lovely Italians; thank you to Luigina, Sirio and their family for our time with them 😀

"Soggiorno molto molto piacevole. Siamo stati accolti con cortesia e disponibilità. Il contesto è rurale e molto tranquillo, adatto per chi ama la natura e il silenzio. Molto carino e caratteristico il borgo medievale di Citerna; facilmente raggiungibili diversi luoghi d''interesse. Uniche due note (peraltro dettagli): la difficoltà a ricevere il segnale televisivo e la mancanza di tavolinetti a bordo piscina. Il nostro giudizio globale resta comunque ottimo."

"Notre séjour au Podere Casenuove s''est merveilleusement bien déroulé. C''est un endroit qui allie le calme de la campagne à la proximité de Fighille où se trouvent une supérette et quelques magasins. De plus, c''est également très proche de la Toscane et des sites importants de l''Ombrie. L''appartement que nous avons occupé se trouve à l''étage de la maison avec une vue splendide sur la campagne. Très bien équipé et meublé, nous y avons trouvé tout le confort. Nous avons également profité de la piscine qui est un véritable atout car il fait parfois très chaud en Ombrie. En bref, nous recommandons cette location et n''hésiterons pas à y retourner si l''occasion se présente. Grazie a Luigina e Silio per l''accoglienza. Laurence e Jean-Claude"
