Excellent apartment with one problem area

We arrived at the apartment later than planned due a delay in the departure of our channel tunnel crossing. We had difficulty communicating with the local agent as they don't speak English. We eventually gained access to the apartment at 8 pm. The apartment is excellent with one exception: Despite being able to accommodate 6 people it has only one rather small dingy toilet with a badly stained. toilet bowl. The door handle of the toilet is loose and in danger of falling off. Also, the excellent terrace is in need of a good clean. Shortly after arriving we discovered there was no toilet paper ! The following day when we attempted to do some washing up we discovered there was no washing up liquid or tea towels which we've never experienced in many years of renting holiday apartments. Finally, the description of the property on the VRBO site is confusing in it's description of the number bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets. This should be corrected.

Sehr schönes, gerĂ€umiges Apartment in Laufweite zum Meer und zum Ortskern. Parkmöglichkeiten gut. Sehr ruhig gelegen (Yachthafen). Beste Kommunikation mit Agentur und Vermieter, sind beide sehr bemĂŒht und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!

Bon séjour. Appartement bien localisé

Appartement comfortable et bien situé. La déco est sympa, literie de bonne qualité. Un peu déçus oar l'état de propreté pour un bien annoncéde standing.. Nous avons eu le sentiment que le ménage avait été fait trÚs superficiellement notamment salle d'eau du bas, canapé rempli de miettes et autres...et mobilier terrasse ...dommage, surtout avec des enfants en bas ùge qui crapahutent.

Amazing place, great host

The property and location are outstanding. Plenty of local places to eat, the harvour and beach are just lovely, as is the local town of Cabourg. Communication with owner prior to our visit was excellent. Could not fault our stay, a great visit.

Schön, aber nicht sehr viel PrivatsphÀre

Sauber, bis auf die Umgebung der Toilette. Zwei der drei Schlafzimmer waren zudem absolut gerĂ€uschdurchlĂ€ssig, indem das eine eine tĂŒrgroße Öffnung in Richtung Wohnzimmer nur mit einer Gardine davor, und das andere statt einer richtigen TĂŒr nur zwei hölzerne und nicht gerĂ€uschabdichtende SchiebetĂŒren besaß. Das Fernsehen beschrĂ€nkte sich auf französische Sender. Das sind eigentlich die einzigen, wenn auch recht störenden Kritikpunkte. Ansonsten gut, schöne Aussicht auf den Hafen und NĂ€he zum Meer (zehn Minuten hĂŒbscher Fußweg).
