In the heart of Positano. Saracen style architecture. Floors: hand-cut "cotto napoletano", ancient Neapolitan ceramics. Elegant vintage furniture with all comforts. Three terraces furnished with tables (including a table for 10 people) and plants, flowers, pergolas, vases and antique jars. A balcony. All with 180 degree views of the sea. Upper floor: double bedroom (bed 1.6x2.0m) with balcony, AC and own bathroom; twin bedded room (0.9x2.0mt) with terrace (table with 4 chairs and deck chair), AC and own bathroom, possibility to join the two single beds to obtain a third double bed. Middle floor: double bedroom (bed 1.6x2.0m), air conditioning and its own bathroom; living room; the rooms access a large terrace with table with 5 chairs, 2 deck chairs, 2 sun loungers. Lower floor: living room, dining room, single bedroom (0.9x2m bed), bathroom, kitchen. All the rooms on the lower floor overlook a large terrace with table for 8-10 people, 2 deck chairs). The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, 60x90cm gas cooker with 5 burners and large electric oven. The rent includes sheets and towels (changed weekly), electricity, gas, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and final cleaning. Security deposit of 400 euros required upon arrival. From this will be deducted the costs municipal tourist tax (2024 amounts: 2.5euro / person per day, excluding children under 10 years) and possible damage.

We spent 9 days in Positano. The villa was in a great location to access the harbor, shops and walking distance to the beaches. The views from the villa were excellent, it was clean and well maintained. Maria who manages the villa was a huge help to arrange transportation when needed, made reservations for us, and one option was to have a home cooked Italian four course meal she and her daughter prepared. The food was excellent and well done. The host was easy to contact and promptly responded when we wanted something or had questions. Each room had its own bathroom facilities, well supplied and clean. Due to length of our stay, they changed towels mid-way through. The kitchen was well supplied for our needs.

Apartment was great. Balconies on every floor with fantastic views. The owner and his team were helpful with all our questions and needs. The beds were very comfortable and rooms had ac and fans, which were much appreciated on several days. Apartment is not too many steps down from the main road through town. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, spices etc. A very pleasant place to stay!

Incredible home I can not recommend enough

Roberto's home was nothing short of a dream during our stay in Positano. Of all our visits, this was the best place we stayed and we can't wait to return again! Beside the villa's historic charm, the location is hard to beat. I recommend this stay to anyone traveling either as a couple or with a bigger group.

Breathtaking Retreat in Positano

My family of 6 stayed here for a week. It was breathtakingly beautiful; the villa & the town! The villa had plenty of room for all of us with an extra bedroom we didn’t use. The balconies are wonderful and lent themselves to many glasses of wine, card games and meals outside. The kitchen had what we needed for our visit. We cooked many nights. Warning that Positano has many, many steps!! You really need to be fit to navigate the town & the steps. I highly recommend this villa for families and small groups. Lots of air conditioning on all 3 levels too!

Stunning Villa

We loved this villa so much - each bedroom has its own floor, patio, and bath. It's very private and all the views are breathtaking. The antique furnishings are gorgeous. The location is perfect - not far above the ferry and main beach. We hired Marco to give us a tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip. He had wonderful recommendations as well and helped us coordinate our transportation.

Wonderful Location

Perfect location. The villa worked very well for 2 couples! Loved all the terraces! Definitely not a place for anyone much over 70 unless you are physically fit (but that’s pretty much true of Positano in general). Maria did a great job promptly answering our questions and arranging our departure. We had a fantastic time.

Unbelievable views!

Our family of seven enjoyed our week at the villa. The entire villa was just beautiful and we never got sick of the sea views. The property is very comfortable for seven adults. We had plenty of space to have group time as well as privacy.The property caretakers Marco and Maria did so much to make our stay enjoyable and fun. We enjoyed getting to know them. Take Marco up on his offer to book some dinner reservations as we always received great service and food going with his choices. Maria also cooked an amazing meal for us at the villa one night.Best vacation ever!

Great Location

Loved the location and the amazing views. There was a lack of communication with Maria the manager and also Marco was supposed to come by and give us some ideas of what to do in the area but he never showed up. I just wish the communication was better.

Authentic Italian Casa

Although the VRBO pictures show this place with beautiful setting, it’s not until you first open the door do you realize how incredibly beautiful the setting is over looking the Mediterranean Sea. The location is perfect with restaurants above and below the location. Roberto’s place is just what you would imagine an Italian home to be. Maria was also very helpful setting up our day trip to Pompei. This was our first time to Italy and this place made our family experience perfect. Be sure to book early.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa and couldn't have made a better choice! The location of the villa was exactly where we wanted to be and the views of the sea from every patio were absolutely beautiful. The villa was very quaint and had everything we needed. Our trip was a last minute decision but Roberto was very helpful with planning transportation to and from the villa and was always quick to answer any questions. We loved the location…. Beautiful views. The shower was a bit intermittent between hot and cold …. Otherwise everything was great. We had to pay quite a bit for electricity which we haven’t had before It has all been included elsewhere.

This villa was the perfect location for our group of 3 couples in Positano for 5 nights. The path to the beach was only 6 minute via the pedestrian walkway steps. Multiple shops and restaurants were 3 minutes away on the street above. Two bakeries and gelato were close by. The pictures and descriptions online were accurate but did not do justice to the comfort of this home. The decor was vintage Positano with 3 terraces one on each of 3 levels. Views were breathtaking. The kitchen was clean and well supplied except for not having a microwave. Our host, Roberto, was the epitome of a premier host. Communication was excellent. His assistants, Maria Dolores and Rosella were not only readily accessible by text for questions but assisted with arranging transportation and reservations. Their input and services were so helpful to first time visitors to the Amalfi Coast.

Positano is a one-off place, extraordinary and beautiful. The villa has wonderful views over the village and the sea from three balconies. It is well equipped, spacious and the air con is very effective. The owner was outstandingly helpful, giving excellent recommendations and advice. Also the arrival person Maria Delores was very helpful and kind too. It was a special birthday, and we all had the most wonderful celebration - couldn't recommend it more highly - just be aware this is a vertical property in a famously vertical town, so clearly you need a degree of fitness and good mobility to visit.

Villa Ibiscus was terrific. Super close to 2 public beaches in town. And very close to shops and restaurants. Lovely view from all bedrooms and porches over the water . Enjoyed watching the yaughts and boats come into harbor from our deck. Big rooms , lovely kitchen, great common areas in the house. Maria set us up with Marco - as local guide and a smart man who took us for a day trip to explore Amalfi coasts best shops , Resturant’s and ceramic shops. Great communication with house manager and house owner. Lots of steps to get anywhere in Positano . To be expected. But all around a perfect vacation.

"We (5 persons) have stayed a week in November 2006 in this villa. Villa Ibiscus and the village of Positano were both picture perfect. You want to stay forever . We liked the layout with the three floors. The kitchen, baths, bedrooms and other living areas were  well above adequate. The views from all of the balconies were the most impressive part of the Villa. The furnishings were really elegant and antique. The weather in November was amazingly perfect. We truly enjoyed a day trip to Ravello . . . an extraordinarily beautiful town. Pompei was also a worthy day trip, and crowds were low in off season.  We wish to thank our cousin Attilio for choosing this wonderful place for our vacations and the owner Roberto for his kindness and responsiveness.  We loved the villa and would return in a minute " "

Wonderful Sea View Villa with even Better Hospitality

We had the best time at this property. The location is fantastic, steps below the main road. As others have mentioned, there are a good amount of steps to get to the beach, but it is so worth the trip, and the views both going up and down are worth every step. My wife was 5 months pregnant during our stay and she was able to do it no problem. Roberto was friendly and responsive weeks leading up to the trip, and even arranged a private car to and from the Villa from Naples where we flew in from. Maria met us in person when we arrived and gave us a detailed walkthrough of the home and its amenities, as well as recommendations of things to do and places to eat during our stay. The views from the Villa are outstanding. Each of the three patios have breathtaking views of the sea and Praiano; the soft city lights at night were just as amazing as the sun in the morning. I highly recommend this home for your next stay in Positano, you will not be disappointed.
