This is a fantastic property! Nice kitchen open to the living area with fantastic ocean views! Everything was in perfect order and the host is fantastic! Great communications and very accommodating throughout. Don't hesitate to rent this one!

Beautiful beach house.

Love the view. location is fantastic. With hiking trails behind you and the beach in front of you if you like nature and a beautiful comfortable home, this is the place with bathrooms in all the bedrooms with an extra half bath upstairs. Excellent for three couples. Hope to be back sooner than later.

Location location! Lovely home right across the street from Montara Beach. Comfortable 3 bedrooms with 3 1/2 bathrooms! Check in was a breeze. Richard provided all the info via text and was available by telephone. Check out instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Delightful Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Montara. It was close enough to Half Moon Bay for shopping and restaurants, and even closer to the beautiful beach. The home was immaculate and was well equipped with toaster, blender, etc. We had a great time.

Bay Area trip

Great house with everything we needed included, in quiet area with really nice view of ocean, beach is just a short walk across street. Short drive from many restaurants and easy access to drive to SF or bay areas. The owner was very responsive. I'd recommend it for family or friend trips

Nice Place

Location was beautiful and house was large and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are minimally stocked but I had read that in previous reviews so it wasn't a surprise. The white couches in the living room and the carpets are a bit stained but the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.

Beach house

Great view of the crashing surf and right across the street from the beach. All en-suite bathrooms with lovely cabinets and sinks. Nice kitchen that is fairly well stocked. Firm beds but very thin bedding. Perfect place to enjoy the beach, go biking along the trails in Half Moon bay and many great restaurants.

Whales

We had a great trip and we were treated to a show of whales!! The roof top deck was awesome for whale watching. When it was cool outside you can just sit on the couch and look at the waves and the ocean! I would highly recommend staying here!!

Beachfront Vacay

My family and I enjoyed a relaxing birthday trip at this spacious, beachfront home. There are views of the ocean from almost every room, and 2nd floor and roof top decks to enjoy the ocean which was just a couple of hundred yards away. The home is very spacious with 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a lovely backyard. The host was also very hospitable and we will definitely be back.

Nice place near the beach

Property was great! Nice place to stay with family. Very clean. Lots of space. Literally just across the beach with an awesome view. Had to deal with some beach traffic on the weekend but otherwise easy to get to and from San Francisco or San Mateo. Would stay here again.

In town for a reunion

Property was great. Richard was very responsive for any questions I had. The only request would be to have some additional things in the kitchen…aluminum foil, plastic bags…just some little things to make it really easy. We definitely enjoyed our stay! Super close to the beach and open space trails.

This house was built as a getaway from hectic city life, while still remaining in close proximity to the city. Peaceful and relaxing, it is exactly what we needed whenever we wanted a break. Our family agrees on one thing: total relaxation when you're watching the waves from the comfort of the house.
