Great Kauai Beach Villa Location

We had a great time in Kauai and this location was just perfect for us. Beautiful first floor view of the ocean and the resort also had a pool, hot tub with a pool side eatery during the day that you could use. From our location we spent time at the Waimea Canyon State Park touring the upper coast line and also did some afternoon rafting along the same coast. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay, and the unit was very well-equipped with beach gear, kitchen and laundry supplies, and games. The view was incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and hearing and seeing the ocean waves. Location was central to activities we had planned: hikes, kayaking, backcountry tubing, Waimea Canyon, Poipu Beach, Fern Grotto tour. We enjoyed using the Outrigger pools. It was nice to have a pool bar available, as well as the option to order food for lunch. The AC units were only in the bedrooms, so the living room and kitchen did not cool off as much. But we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

New shower heads and new beds would make it fantastic. The master bed was uncomfortable & old, plus the headboard slammed the wall any time once of us rolled over. The second bedroom was very cute with the shell motif.

The long, isolated beach in front of the resort was perfect for long walks. We used the pools at the resort extensively and had no issues. We also used the tennis courts. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, an umbrella and cooler. The management company was outstanding to work with and graciously allowed us to do a later checkout.

However, there were a few issues that impacted my experience. For a few days, there was a strong cigarette smell in the unit, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the kettle inside was covered in rust, making it unusable. While the kitchen towels were clean, they did have old stains, which was a bit off-putting. Despite these concerns, the location was fantastic, and the view was beautiful.

Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable furniture in F-7. 3 problems: Our (expensive supermarket) food kept spoiling & we finally discovered the refrigerator temp had been set very low. Caused us to waste money-- not good! Also, bathtub floor in master bath quite slippery, need a rubber mat in there. The paint inside door of master bath is peeling in big chunks, but that was not such a big problem as the food. We do love Kauai Beach Villas atmosphere.

The long beach in front of the resort was perfect for long walks and just 50 yards to the left we had the beach to ourselves and it was swim friendly. The pools at the resort were a three-minute walk and were great, although the water was cool. The resort has food and drinks available for purchase. We enjoyed the live music during happy hour almost every night at Shutters. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and a great umbrella. The unit could use some updating, but we loved the space and kitchen had everything we needed except the food. The management company was outstanding to work with.

The front door was looking ghetto, the balconies were in really bad shape. Definitely in need of a major over-haul. Looks like they are working on another bldg now. Surprised to have zero supplies in the kitchen. Not even salt and pepper. It was cleaned out! The front half of the condo never really cooled off, but at least for sleeping it was comfortable. Some things for sure could’ve been better but between the view and the location, I was happy with our stay.

Kauai vacation rentals offered us a good deal for this beach villa. Although a resort-like stay was absolutely not our preferred choice, we actually really enjoyed our stay. The buildings are a bit run down (thx to the elements and time) but in the inside we loved this appartment. Spacious, clean, comfortable. Yes from a few decdes ago, but really liked that. The place is spotless and very well equipped. Location is so so and not so exotic but you will need to drive almost everywhere in Kauai so Staying eastshore is very convenient than as it gets you utmost west or north within an hour from here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this condo! We stayed 5 nights at a house in Anahola then visited F-7 for the remaining 5 nights of our trip. We wanted to explore two different areas during our time on the island and both places did not disappoint. Nice views and sounds from the ocean. The property is slightly older but very comfortable. We used the AC at night, and beds were comfortable. Was nice to also have access to washer and dryer to clean our pool towels regularly. Kitchen had all appliances we needed but you do need to get your own spices and such for cooking. Moving from one property to another we had groceries and the property management went out of their way to get us an early check in so our food would not spoil. That was much appreciated! The pool was amazing and our two kids (11 & 8 years old) LOVED it! They had pool side service with food and drinks which were very good. The access to the restaurant and pools were a great added bonus. We loved the proximity of the home so we could access all of the wonderful sights on the island. We visited 10 different beaches in 10 days! Would revisit this property again!
