Aloha! Wailea Ekolu #805, a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, ground floor unit which features a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, high-speed wireless internet, and a washer and dryer. In every room there is a split system air conditioning unit, flat screen television, and cable with HBO and Showtime. Beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, and beach towels are provided for guest enjoyment. From the lanai, guests enjoy spectacular Maui sunsets, wonderful blue ocean views, and steps across the lawn to one of two heated pools on property.
BBQ grills are not allowed on individual unit lanais in compliance with fire code restrictions. Community grilling stations are available.
Wailea Ekolu is nestled on the immaculately kept Wailea Blue Golf Course and tennis enthusiasts can enjoy the Wailea Tennis Club located directly across the street. A short ten-minute walk (or three-minute drive) brings you to the beautiful beaches of Mokapu and Ulua, where you can snorkel, paddle board, and kayak. Quality restaurants and stores await you just down the hill at The Shops of Wailea.
Wailea is also home to one of Hawaii’s stunning coastal pathways. A morning stroll or run will treat you to breathtaking panoramic views, lush gardens, convenient beach access, and a sense of leisure as you travel along the paved promenade.

The condo was very nice with ocean view and shops half a mile away. Walk to beach probably a mile. Kitchen very well stocked. Toys very well stocked (games, surfboards, boogie board, books. Only negative comments; no instructions on how to operate tv and bedside lamp in guest room would be nice.

Perfect for our family

The property was exactly as advertised, a great 2 bedroom which was perfect for our family of 4. We loved having the pool steps away and the beach a short drive. The unit was very well furnished (including beach towels, chairs, cooler) and made for a really lovely and relaxing stay. We have already recommended it to friends and can't wait to stay again.

Great condo!

We loved the condo. Its location within the complex is very convenient - close to the shops, the beach walk and several lovely beaches. We’ve stayed at a few units in Ekolu and this was one of our favourites - it was equipped with everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the lanai is spectacular. The furnishings were great, although the lanai furniture could use an update. It’s a little noisy during the day if you’re looking for complete silence - kids playing in the pool, noise from upstairs unit - but none of that bothered us. It was really quiet at night. We’d happily stay here again.

We are from the East Coast and this was our first time in Hawaii and we were there for Christmas. We were late to book and there were limited options. Then this property popped up. I was a little worried about being off of the beach but it turned out to be an excellent location. Our teen girls (16 and 17) were able to walk to 2 different shopping areas. We rented a jeep and drove to the various beaches and always found public parking right away. The condo is close enough to the beach that we were able to walk down in the mornings to exercise. The condo itself was pretty much as advertised. The pool is nice but we didn't use it much. The community is well-maintained and quiet. Only a couple of minor things - like there wasn't shampoo or body wash as photographed in the listing and I had told my girls not to bring that so we had to make an extra trip to the store. The kitchen was adequate but lacked some useful items you might expect. We only made one dinner at the condo and that was Christmas night. We bought sushi and sashimi from the Island Gourmet and grilled Teryaki skewers. We had a couple of questions during the stay and the property manager was very responsive. We were even able to book a half day at the last minute for our red-eye flight which made things so much easier for us. I would recommend this property and feel it was a good value.

Great Condo

Condo was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and in a great location (easy walk down to the Shops at Wailea, Akamai Coffee, etc). We loved being able to see the ocean from the lanai and our 2 year old liked being so close to the pool. Only downside is that it’s on the ground floor, so depending on who’s in the unit above, it’s either relatively quiet or like living beneath a herd of elephants (we experienced both during our week).

The location of the unit within the village was very convenient - pool right next door and a short walk to coffee shops, and other conveniences. Very near the shopping mall "Shops of Wailea", and the walk along the beachwalk past the resorts. The unit was well equipped and in very good condition overall. Rentals Maui was very responsive to the two minor problems we had, sending staff out right away to deal with the problems. We would stay there again.

2nd stay here

This unit checked all the boxes and was a comfortable stay…again. The proximity to the pool and furnishings are all pluses. I noticed that glassware and silverware were a bit more scarce than I remembered. We found ourselves using the dishwasher more frequently as a result. AC worked fine and we were comfortable when relaxing away from the sun and nearby beach. The unit has a big stock of chairs, beach toys, flippers, etc. that is all stored outside the 2nd bedroom. A no slip bath mat in the master bath cabinet made it easier for the kids while bathing. Internet worked great and the condo got great (Verizon) cell service. I’d be happy to rent this unit again.

The hall bath sink had a leaky hot water faucet which I reported on twice with nothing being done. I finally turned it off under the sink.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends. Great stay but, need a little work in place

My husband, daughter and I, we’ve arrived at this unit and wowed with view. However, place needs a lit more work. 1st, just 1 night stand at master bedroom so, my husband has to bring little hallway table to use all 12 nights. 2nd, chipped dishes and broken wine is not really acceptable for paying guests. 3rd, white bathroom towels and beach towels should have been replaced once awhile since most of them were stained. 4th, no kitchen spices or stuck leftover coffee creamer and old left over coffee should have been thrown away prior to new guest arrival. Also, pots and pans should be replaced. 5th, dinning chairs nor all the outdoor furniture need to be replace. They don’t have any cushion at all and torn. 6th, see through window coverings does not give any privacy. Specially at night. We’ve even cover small window in master bedroom with bath towels since there were no window covering at all. Which is totally not acceptable for ground level unit. Overall, we love Wailea Ekolu property location and will stay again. If owner fix some of this issues, this unit can be a great unit to stay.

It offers a beautiful view of the ocean as well as the property and is very well maintained. You can walk to the Shops of Wailea easily as well as other areas. We are excited to plan our next trip!!
