About this property

Cottage House in Médoc: A Getaway between Vineyards, Ocean and Heritage

Welcome to this Médoc house, built in 1870, which once belonged to my great-grandmother. Completely renovated as part of a family project, it is the setting for all our holidays, and we are delighted to share this little piece of paradise with our guests, who thus contribute to its beauty.
Located in Moulis-en-Médoc, in the heart of the prestigious Médoc vineyards, it sits along the famous Route des Châteaux, between the Atlantic coast and the mouth of the Garonne. Here, you can admire the beauty of the vineyards and the estuary by bike or on foot, discover the villages and their unique churches, or enjoy the waves of the Atlantic in Carcans. Thrill-seekers can try stand-up paddleboarding or windsurfing on Lake Hourtin, explore the preserved nature of the Médoc Regional Natural Park, or walk around the Cousseau Pond loop.
Back at the house, enjoy a picnic, a wine tasting, or an after-beach gathering in one of the many Médoc châteaux. You can also explore Bordeaux, its architecture, history, and museums, or take the Route des Châteaux to the tip of the Médoc to admire the Richard Lighthouse or the majestic Cordouan Lighthouse. A cruise from Lamarque, Pauillac, or Le Verdon on Europe’s largest estuary may take you to the Blaye Citadel, Meschers-sur-Gironde, or the estuary islands. Finally, why not head to the Arcachon Basin to climb the Dune of Pilat, enjoy a seafood platter, and then return to share your impressions on the terrace, around a table under the starry sky.

Perfect place to enjoy France!

Staying at the cottage in Médroc was a dream come true and the house suited us well. The place was comfortable and Laure was a perfect host with quick responses whenever we had a question. Check-in was easy. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything we needed. We were very happy here !

Gite moulis

A notre arrivée logement avec pas de ménages , poussière et toile d’araignée ++ et odeur d’humidité avec moisissures sur les bas de murs. Poils et tache sur les couettes et les oreillers. Table de salle encombré d’effet personnel rendant difficile son utilisation lors des journées de pluies ou soirées fraîches. Tonte de pelouse déverse en montagne dans la haie du terrain. Point positif : maison silencieuse au coeur des vignes . Prix élevé pour les prestations proposées.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus im Medoc mit ganz viel französischen Charme, in dem es an nichts fehlt!

Wir hatten ein einfaches Ferienhaus erwartet und wurden total überrascht. Das Haus war sehr schön renoviert, von warmen, roten Bodenfliesen bis hin zu einzelnen Natursteinwänden in einigen Zimmern. Das Haus war überraschend geräumig, ein großer Wohnbereich mit 2 Sofas, Ferneher, DVD-Player, 2 Tischen und einer Anrichte. Über eine doppelflügelige Tür gelangt man auf die Terrasse. Im etwas größeren Schlafzimmer befand sich ein typisches franz. Doppelbett, 1,60 breit, eine Anrichte und ein zimmerhoher Wandsschrank mit 2 Schiebetüren, den wir zum ersten mal benuzen durften. Stauraum ohne Ende! Im kleineren Schlafzimmer war ebenfalls ein Doppelbett sowie ein weiteres Einzelbett, ein Schrank und ein Tisch. Hier war alles eine wenig enger. Das Badezimmer war geräumig mit Badewanne und Duscheinheit sowie einem Doppelwaschtisch und einer Toilette ausgestattet. Alles hat funktioniert und war sehr sauber. Und man hatte immer noch Platz, sich im Badezimmer auch mit 2 Personen zu bewegen. Auch die Gästetoilette war geräumig und sauber. In der Küche, ebenfalls mit Zugang zur Terrasse, war alles da, was man braucht, Kühl-/Gefrierkombi, Spülmaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kaffemaschinen mit und ohne Pads, sowie einem alten Tisch. Eine Waschmaschine im Anschlußraum war auch vorhanden. Auf der geräumigen Terrasse steht ein großer Natursteintisch, 6 Gartenstühle, zwei Gartenliegen und ein neuer Schwenk-Sonnenschirm sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Und für die Herren ein Weber Gasgrill! Der Garten ist sehr groß und nach allen Seiten sicher eingezäunt, für unseren Hund ideal. Einige Bäume bieten herrlichen Schatten. Auf dem Grundstück ist Platz für 2 Fahrzeuge vorgesehen. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf, an einer wenig befahrenen Straße. Alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs kann man in den umliegenden Dörfern bekommen, in kleinen Geschäften oder größeren Supermärkten. In ca. 50 Minuten ist man am Atlantik, in 10 an der Gironde. Das Haus hat uns hinsichtlich Größe, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit wirklich total überrascht, besonders aber die absolute Ruhe, die wir zur Erholung gesucht haben, hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich und man wird mit allen Informationen versorgt, die man benötigt. Es war ein toller Urlaub.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans une maison spacieuse, confortable , fraiche et très bien équipée , seul bruit le chant des coqs le matin pour nous lever du bon pied . Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec des conseils touristiques et de commerces avisés et bienvenus 2 seuls inconvénients à mon avis :pas de wifi (avec des ados c'est pas toujours évident ) et l'éloignement des commerces de base ( la boulangerie est à quelques kilomètres ! ) Merci à Laure et à son père pour leur disponibilité et leur accueil

Wenn man nicht die Nähe des Meeres sucht, ist das Haus hervorragend. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen; hier kann man richtig Ruhe finden. Für Golfspieler einzigartig, da sehr schöne Golfplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden sind. Das Haus ist mit Liebe restauriert und möbliert. Die Küche ist vorbildlich ausgerüstet; es fehlt nichts! Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt.

Très bon rapport qualité prix

Bon accueil, bon dépaysement, maison propre et bien entretenue, très bonne prestation. Je l'ai recommandé à mes amis. Aux alentours des restaurants raffinés et les visites des caves à vin, la mer à quelques kilomètres très agréable.
