At the exit of Barbentane, typical village of Provence, the Mas de la Vanade awaits you for your stay. The Montagnette which touches the village offers a very pleasant environment. You will appreciate its beautiful old furniture and its neat decoration, its dining area under the arbor, its charming swimming pool of 4m / 5m which will refresh you in summer. 15 minutes from the Alpilles and Saint Remy de Provence. The owners Marie Claire and Christian live on site. They will be at your disposal for any question or request during your stay.

We had a wonderful 9-day experience living in this charming renovated farmhouse. Our hosts, who live adjacent, were a delightful, and talented couple (he has a tribute band and she is an art restorer with her own art in a museum show!) who gave us privacy yet were available for whatever we needed.

Beautiful Property!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was very clean and looks JUST like the pictures: gorgeous! We like to cook and found the kitchen well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. If you are looking to explore Provance with your own car, this is an excellent location. HIGHLY recommended!

Stunning property. The pool was very welcome as it was very hot when we were there; the fans in the bedrooms were needed at night! Christian and Marie-Claire were wonderful hosts that kept everything running smoothly while giving us privacy. The fruit and vegetable stands close to the property were amazing and the butcher store in the village was great as well. The apartment itself was very beautiful, authentic and well-decorated! We would recommended it wholeheartedly - our 9 and 14 year old girls especially loved the pool!

We (a family of three) spent a wonderful week at Marie-Claire and Christian’s place in Barbentane. The house is charming, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail, and equipped with everything you might need. The peaceful location, the beautiful garden, and the lovely pool made our stay absolutely perfect – especially during the hot days. The beds are very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully, which made the whole experience even more relaxing.Marie-Claire and Christian are incredibly kind, warm, and helpful – you immediately feel welcome. We truly enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this house.

Well decorated stone home

Nicely decorated home. Well manicured grounds with a pool. Home has stone walls and floors with wood ceilings. Master bed is comfortable. Second bedroom and kitchen have noise from the street. Internet is spotty due to stone building.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and a great place to stay. Marie-Claire and Christian were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We needed an extra fan as our room was a bit warm and it was there in 2 minutes.

Très agréable séjour à Barbentane

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce beau mas spacieux, calme et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine a été très appréciée par tous, surtout les enfants ! Les propriétaires sont très gentils et discrets, la propreté des lieux impeccable. Merci beaucoup à Marie-Claire et à Christian pour leur gentillesse, leur accueil et leurs conseils !

Excellent, magnifique Mas où le sent bien et idéalement situé

C'était super. Au début, un peu d'inquiétude car les propriétaires sont juste à côté mais cela n'a généré aucun problème. Marie Claire et Christian sont très très discrets. En outre, ils sont très attentionnés, disponibles et de bons conseils pour les visites. Nous étions 2 couples d'amis et avons passé un excellent séjour en Provence. La maison, très propre, dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Le coin piscine est très agréable et tranquille. La piscine est suffisante pour se rafraîchir. Si l'occasion se représente, nous retournerons chez Marie Claire et Christian, c'est une bonne adresse.

Oase in der Hitze

Wir sind spontan während einer Hitzewelle bei Marie-Claire untergekommen und hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende Gastgeber, ein charmantes, gepflegtes Anwesen und eine sehr schöne, saubere Wohnung.. Die man komplett verdunkeln kann. In Kombination mit dem Pool hat es die Hitze von fast 40° erträglich werden lassen. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs fußläufig erreichbar. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die traumhafte Umgebung der Provence. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Schönes altes provencalisches Haus

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast bei Marie-Claire und Christian und wir haben es nicht bereut. Beide waren sehr nett und besonders Christian hat uns mit Tips rund um die Gegend versorgt. Die Vermieter wohnen auch vor Ort sind aber beide sehr diskret, so dass wir zu keiner Zeit gestört wurden oder und beobachtet gefühlt haben.Der Poolbereich ist uneinsehbar und hat uns über die extreme Hitzewelle gerettet.Die Größe des Pools war auch für unsere Kinder (beide 13) ausreichend. Das Haus hat Baukulturund ist im provencal ischen Stil. Von der Größe waren wir positiv überrascht. Alles was man zum Wohnen und Kochen braucht ist vorhanden. Unsere Kinder haben bei derAbreise ihre Geldbeutel im Haus liegen lassen. Wir haben das zunächst nicht bemerkt. Marie-Claire hat uns erst drauf aufmerksam gemacht und uns die Geldbeutel mit den Ausweisen usw. nach Hause geschickt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle noch mal hierfür.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Privatpool

Bei dem Haus handelt es sich um ein schönes altes Steinhaus mit großzügigem und gepflegtem Außenbereich und Pool. Der Baum neben dem Pool spendet auch an heißen und sonnigen Tagen ausreichend Schatten, so dass die Benutzung des Pools auch mit Kindern den ganzen Tag über möglich war, was ganz toll war. Die Vermieter wohnen im Nachbarhaus, waren jedoch sehr diskret. Bei Fragen/Problemen jedoch schnell erreichbar, nett und hilfreich. Der einzige Nachteil war die Straße hinter dem Haus, bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen war leider relativ laut. Barbentane ist ein schönes provenzalisches Dorf mit ausreichend Infrastruktur (Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Gastronomie etc.). Wir haben uns als Familie hier sehr wohlgefühlt und eine tolle Woche verbracht.

Un séjour parfait

Marie-Claire et Christian sont des hôtes très agréables, discrets et disponibles. Nous avons adoré les deux semaines passées dans leur propriété, qui ne manque de rien et est parfaitement entretenue. La piscine était fortement appréciée par les enfants où les records de plongeons ont été battus ;) La maison est idéalement située pour visiter la région.

Parfaite.

La location est parfaite pour 4 personnes. Elle est à la fois pratique spacieuse et pleine de charme. La propreté et l entretien sont irréprochables. En plus, Marie Claire et Christian s'attachent à offrir avec efficacité et discrétion à leurs hôtes les meilleures conditions de séjour et que rien ne manque. Nous les remercions pour leurs gentillesses et leurs conseils. Nous avons également apprécié le village de Barbentane où l'accueil est particulièrement agréable dans les commerces (boulanger, supérette, boucher, bar, restaurant...). En résumé, une adresse parfaite pour visiter la Provence et se reposer près de la piscine !

Leuk huis en fijn (klein) zwembad, mooie omgeving.

Plus: - mooi, sfeervol en schoon huis - goed zwembad - praktische ligging voor uitstapjes - keuken prima en compleet - 2 terrassen - aardige eigenaar Min: - weinig flexibiliteit in in en uitchecken (10 uur uit - 17 in) - mochten niet eerder spullen afleveren of uurtje extra blijven - schoonmaak uitcheck begon al om 900 - betrekkelijke weinig privacy met bewoners gevoelsmatig op je lippen - deden overigens hun best ‘afwezig’ te zijn - geen airco wat voor de kleine kamer echt een issue was (laag plafond) Al met al een leuk verblijf !

The arrival and departure times are clearly specified in the house rules.you have contested this rule even before your stay, if we had air conditioning it would be specified in our material, this is not our case.We never started the cleaning inside in your presence as you mention at 9H00. We waited for you to load your luggage to access the pool to start its maintenance and ensure the safety and comfort necessary for future guests. We were in the garden. The comments that our visitors leave on the website are essential for us. Since 2007, these reviews and comments allow us to constantly improve our service to ensure the best welcome and an unforgettable experience at each visit. They have always been very enthusiastic and often come as a real reward for the enthusiasts that we are! Yours left us with a strange feeling, so simple was it to meet your expectations.
