Beautiful spacious top floor loft in the heart of downtown Lebanon Ohio

Simplify Guest Homes is located inside a beautiful historic building located on Mulberry Street and Mechanic, right in the heart of downtown Lebanon. Available is Simplify 1 located on the top floor. This space offers a large yet cozy and clean environment. Whether you want to hang out with friends and family or explore the town, this is the perfect space for that. Most everything is walking distance from Simplify with many cafes, eateries and stores in the surrounding area.

A home away from home atmosphere with a 7-window view inside the top floor apartment/loft. These windows surround the living room, dining room area making it a hot spot during Lebanon's many festivals right below you. Inside you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

There is a large kitchen with a bar area and a large dining table for eating together. There is also a 6-person sectional for tv watching or for a comfy conversation pit. The space created has inspiring colors, written words with a safe, peaceful feel to it. I look forward to sharing it with you.

On the morning of your arrival date, I will send you your door code via text message. The door code is a for the keypad located on the entrance to your guest home. Being a great host to me means allowing you to have your privacy and also being available with questions and/or concerns you might have before, during, or after your stay. I live only a short distance away and am available 24/7 text or call.

There are too many things to list that make Lebanon a great place to play and stay. Golden Lamb, Ice Cream Parlor, Docs, Whits, Lebanon Candy store, Black horse tavern, and Villaggio's an Italian eatery right next door.... just to name a few. Some new neighbors to the area include Woodshed BBQ, Mae Ploy Thai, Bagels on Broadway and Cali's Cookies. There are just as many great shopping options within walking distance also.

Parking is available on Mulberry and Mechanic Street which is located right next to your Guest Home building. It is metered parking however your guest home has a free parking pass for your car during your stay.

The place was really cute and had a relaxing atmosphere. Location is great for walking around downtown. The only thing not to my liking is that the cushions in the sofa and chair were too soft. I like something firmer. But we enjoyed our stay.

Simplify guest loft is the best!

Pamela's loft is amazing! The decor was the best! She even has a huge chalkboard map of the immediate area that is super-cool and super-helpful. We were there on the 4th of July and we were given accurate details about parking ahead of time due to the parade. We were there visiting extended family, and when future opportunities come to visit Lebanon, we will be sure to stay at the Simplify guest loft!

Better and bigger then the pix!

This was SUCH a great location. We loved our stay in Lebanon. The 3rd floor apartment is up 2 long flights of stairs, so if you have someone that is not able to do stairs, this place wouldn't work well. We love staying right in the downtown and got to experience a street party directly in front of the apartment.

This Loft was exactly as pictured. Warm and cozy! Perfect location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Open and spacious. Parking was very close. The shower liner was dirty/order and walls in bathrooms had splatters/dirt/very dusty . Internet did not work well. Otherwise, the space was clean and well decorated.

Comfortable alternative to a hotel in historic Lebanon

We had to travel to Lebanon for business and we were not pleased with the selection of hotels in the area. Opted to rent this comfortable and cozy loft instead. We were pleased with the accommodations. We had hoped to prepare our own meals there, but found the kitchen to be equipped only for the most basic meal preparation. Some items that would be nice to have: small saucepans and saute pans, cutting boards (that do not hold odors), a dish drying rack (there is no dishwasher). I would recommend this loft to anyone who is travelling to the area!

Thank you for your response and I am very glad you enjoyed your stay. I always encourage guest at Simplify to open drawers, explore cabinets as if you are in your own home. After investigating your request, I discovered that Simplify had each of the items you mentioned. Located under the kitchen sink was a dish drying rack and foam dish drying towel. In one of the kitchen drawers, a brand new cutting board was found and 2 small skillets were found among the pots and pans. I appreciate your time to mention those items but wondering if you might have mixed me up with another place you stayed at. I take great pride in making sure there is not a need or want during your stay at Simplify. It is fully stocked for your convenience. Thanks for your business and for taking time to send a review it made me take time to double check for the items you mentioned.

very Charming

A great overall experience, the condo is well decorated, if I were to say negatives it would be, we stayed for 10 days and feel there was not enough bathing supplies, not having a dishwasher was not easy during the holidays, and lastly the stairs are to much for hauling luggage in and out. The location is perfect, but seeing as there is no washer or dryer on site, it is inconvenient for longer stays because there is not close laundering service. We overall had an amazing holiday with our family

Thanks for your response. There is a laundry mat only 2 minutes away. I use it quite often. It is clean and convenient. My phone number is listed inside Simplify for any questions or concerns, I had no idea there was a shortage of towels. I am sorry you did not call me I would of told you exactly where more were for you to use. I hope the good outweighed the bad and I can share my place with you another time.

I am originally from a small town in Kansas called Colwich. I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1988. After about 10 years of living 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, I moved to Lebanon, Ohio where I discovered a true love of the small town life once again. I discovered a new love for the History and Historic attributes of Lebanon. I created Simplify Guest Homes 12 years ago to allow family and friends to gather together in one space and to allow travelers to discover our cute quaint town called Lebanon.

In my spare time I love to refurbish and decorate. I love being creative and both these loves allow that. I also enjoy the outdoors, traveling, hiking, exploring, exercising and good health.

Why they chose this property

I quickly fell in love with the small town life here. Historical buildings, the feel of community at every corner, quaint places to shop and eat at everywhere. I wanted to share it with the world. Henceforth came my idea to create Simplify. A place where families can come together for a short or long stay with the convenience of home while exploring the wonderful town of Lebanon, Ohio.

What makes this property unique

Simplify was designed with the comfort and warmth of home in mind. The entire floor was newly renovated in 2012 from the flooring to the lighting. Creating a cozy, fun, warm, private and safe environment for my guests was my goal. Families, loved ones, generations, or a significant other can all find something they enjoy at Simplify. My expectation of this place is for it to bring joy to you as you stay and discover my wonderful little town in the process.
There has been many additions and upgrades since my first remodel in 2012. I'm always adding and decorating the space to fit others request or needs. 2021 brought all new appliances and 2024 sports a new master bedroom paint job as well as new carpet in both bedrooms. My next project is to bring in a sliding barn door for the master bedroom bath. I think it would look fabulous b ringing more character to that space.
