About this property

Magnificent and charming old sheepfold renovated

This year, you are thinking of possibly spending your holidays in Sardinia. Let yourself be tempted by our sheepfold "Gurharam", located 7 km from the center of Orosei. If you want to change your habits and find yourself in an "old-fashioned" and "rustic" atmosphere, our house will suit you perfectly.

This Sheepfold was built in 1963, to accommodate the shepherd and his animals. Since then, the latter has been furnished, while retaining its charm. Stop luxury and abundance; this house stands out for its traditional and rural side. So do not expect "high standing", but rather a simple house, in which each room, each room and each object has a story.

Our little house full of life and meaning will allow you to change your mind, cut yourself off from the world and transport yourself in a peaceful, calm and positive atmosphere.

You will be amazed at the silence that reigns there, and the panoramic view you will have of the Orosei golf course, as well as the small canyon located next to the course. The beach is 800 m as the crow flies, 1.1 km on foot.

Rental preferably from Saturday to Saturday.

Globally, we had a nice stay. We enjoyed the location up the hill above Ossala beach. We had a great time relaxing on the rooftop overlooking the sea, the mountains and an incredible canyon in the evening. Perfect place for an aperitivo after a day at the beach. The common areas and the kitchen are functional and well-equipped. However, we were a group of seven and only one room had direct access to the bathrooms, which made things quite uncomfortable and unpractical. My friend’s room, on the left end side, was weirdly located between two bathrooms, which means she couldn’t access her room or leave it if someone was using the toilet or having a shower. The other two rooms don’t have their own toilet and therefore their occupants had to get out of the house and walk to the “communal” bathroom located at the entrance of the left-end room. This was particularly unpractical if someone, especially a child, needed to go the toilet at night. We made it work because we were two close friends with their kids who were OK with this lack of intimacy but it might not suit everyone. I would recommend some improvements so that each room has access to a bathroom, even small and basic.

Was will man mehr?

Herrliches Haus in traumhafter Lage

Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht.
