The host was great. The host was fast with communication. The property was great. It had everything we needed. We were in the area for Wine and Chocolate and the location was perfect. Will definitely book again.
Excellent stay. Plenty of boat/truck parking and comfortable beds. The bath/shower could use some updating but this is a great place and we will definitely stay again next year
It was the perfect location for our Niagara Falls excursion. We wanted to be close but not in the city. It was a little more than an hour drive, and the views and the drive was beautiful!
Wonderful, very clean, comfy home! Perfect for a girls' weekend! The bed was very comfortable, the house was lovely, and the views were amazing. We had nice fires every evening, and the owner provided ample firewood. Would love to go back for a meteorite shower! The only thing I disliked was the electric stove; it wasn't the owner's fault, just a personal preference of mine.
Absolutely loved staying at the farmhouse and the working farm. The farm house was absolutely spotless, and verrrry roomy! Sooooo enjoyed the vineyards, the lake view ( and sunsets) saw deer etc.....The peace and quiet was amazing.....Definitely a place to unwind. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much for sharing your farm!
Had a wonderful stay at The Home Stead House with friends. The weekend went by so quickly I feel that we barely had enough time to take in the property’s beautiful surroundings and view from the orchards. We will definitely will staying here anytime that we are in the area.
Our family had another enjoyable stay at the homestead. The house is spacious and the scenery is beautiful. Thanks to Wendy and Art for welcoming us yet again. Hope to see you next year!
This is the third time I have rented from Wendy and each time is just as wonderful as the first time. Perfect location to local wineries and a great escape for the weekend. I will continue to rent from Wendy in the future
Once again we enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Homestead House. The location of the house is quiet and relaxing the house itself is very roomy and was very clean and welcoming We will definitely be booking another trip. If fishing is what your there for there are 2 main launches
( Barcelona and North West ) less than 15 min away.
Great stay! Clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated for the homestead type house. Property is quaint and private. Oh, and the grapes surrounding the property! Sat on the porch every morning and enjoyed my coffee.
Perfect trip!
The homestead was super cute and quaint - which we prefer the views in and around the property are just breathtaking- we love the area and we had such a great time- we will definitely be booking this place again
Thank You Wendy we had a great time....
This house was exactly as described very clean and well maintained. the property is very quiet and relaxing and the smell of the grape vineyard topped it off. Have already recommended this house to other friends and family and will definitely be back again
We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house and property set the mood for a girls wine weekend. The charm of the 1800s house with vineyards, an old barn and tree swing. It's proximity to the wineries, distilleries and lake Erie was amazing. Everything was only minutes away. We can't wait to come back and just escape for another long weekend
The Homestead house was delightful and spotless, very cozy. Suiting in the armchairs watching the lake and sky was extremely relaxing. The vines are king of magical and Wendy responded promptly. Looking forward to staying again!
