We had a fantastic, relaxing stay at this villa. The view from the pool and roof terraces are amazing! A car is required for trips to the beach, bars and restaurants - we enjoyed a mix of evenings and lunches out and many at home bbqs. Thanks to Roula and Nikos for being wonderful hosts

Amazing place to stay

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this villa. It ticks all the boxes, views are amazing, very clean and spacious, the outside area is very well looked after and the pool is perfect. All the things inside and out you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be staying again.

We loved every minute at the villa! The views are mesmerising and the kids enjoyed roaming around the house, playing with the cats, and swimming in the pool. It was the most relaxed we have been in a long time. Thank you to the hosts!

Great house, lovely area

We really enjoyed our stay on Alkistis Villa. The view was lovely and the pool really refreshing. A car is essential and its a short drive to nearby beaches and many good restaurants. The owners are very helpful. Would happily recommend.

A perfect stayLittle can be added to what has already been written by previous guests. A perfect stay in this villa secluded from the main roads, where we enjoyed total privacy (no views from other properties) and silence broken only by cicadas and crickets. However, the villa is located just a few minutes from the main roads of the island and all the necessary services.Inside, the villa is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and living room and large wardrobes in each bedroom, with large and comfortable spaces. To report the kindness and sympathy of the hosts, present every other day for the maintenance of the outdoor environments, always available to satisfy our curiosity (thank you for everything!). We also enjoyed the discreet and friendly presence of the resident feline family in the surroundings.

Great stay, Great view!

Nikos is a very nice host, he take very good care of the villa. The house is clean and confortable. We suggest two good restaurants, Oasis , walkable to the nearby village and Armos Bio Farm, about 10 minutes car ride . 5 stars to Nikos!

Modern comfortable villa overlooking the coast

We stayed in Alkistis villa July 2018 and it was perfect for us (family of five). The villa, pool and garden are maintained to a very high standard. The location is private and quiet with amazing views towards the coast. Nikolaos was a perfect host, always very responsive to queries and always willing and available to help with the smallest detail.

Heaven on Crete

From planning our stay with questions to the owners, to arrival at the beautiful villa with its wecoming pool and the raki in the fridge, to suggestins and advice from Rozla and Nikos, nothing could have been better. A big thank you.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Alkistis Villa. It was clean and spacious for the 6 of us. My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks while our 2 daughters and their significant others joined us for 1 week. The view is remarkable and will stay with us for a very long time. The location was in a quiet area that is a quick drive to beaches and tavernas. Nikos and Roula were friendly, attentive and easy to get in touch with. We took their recommendations for some local tavernas and we were so happy we did! It was an absolute pleasure to meet them and stay in their villa!

Amazing Vila, host's and location!!

What an amazing spacious vila with spectacular views and fantasic hosts. We were blown away by the welcoming hosts who went the extra mile for us. Thank you so much for meeting us in the middle of night when we arrived and looking after us so well. I highly recommend the vila for families. We had the best of both worlds, fun in the pool and great activities and places go a short drive away and also some peice and quiet in this beautiful very clean and fully equipped villa. The pool is a great size and fully equipped for plenty of fun with the kids. The views from the villa are breath taking just like the rest of the island. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again. We miss the views and our cat friends already. Thanks again for having us!! 😻

Crete Supreme

PROS: Beautiful villa and location with everything you need for a thoroughly relaxing holiday. Close to tavernas shopping and beach within 15 minutes. Excellent hosts who are happy to advise on any part of your holiday. Be up for the sunrise over the mountains from the roof terrace as its like nothing you will have seen before. CONS: A number feral cats who want feeding constantly - Our party was full of cat lovers so not a problem. You need a decent car as some of the gradients are approaching 1 in 1!!!! We had a Micra which wasn't up to the job. Lots of insect bites because of the olive grove location so go prepared with afterbite and bug killers for the bedrooms - it didn't detract from the holiday you just get used to it. Overall a great holiday, top accommodation and location.

Dear Nick, thank you for your compliments, but we think that your comments are a bit excessive. In the neighboorhood is a cat with its baby , who are very friendly and they only stay in the house if you feed them. If you don't, they are stay away and they go to the neighboor houses to eat. About the mosquitos, nobody has ever mentioned us, moreover the windows have screens. Generally Crete is a mountain area, so there are uphill roads . Possibly there was a problem with your car, as the road leading to villa is also an uphill road, but there was never a problem for any guest to arrive at the villa. It was our pleasure you had nice vacations in our house and we will be happy to have you as guests again.

Dear Stephane, thank you for your kind words. We cut the flower hedge almost once a month, so our guests have the experience of the great view. Our plan was to cut it some days after your check out. It was our pleasure you had nice vacations in our house and we will be happy to have you as guests again.

Bien

Dear Alban thank you for your kind comments. But, on the day of your arrival, when we informed you about our coming around 19.00 for the garden and the pool, you agreed without telling something different. Also when we were coming to the villa we were asking you if everything was ok, and you were answering that everything is fine. You could simply had informed us that it was a problem for you, so we could come when it was comfortable for you.
