An incredible view on the historical center of Modica, the Baroque town in the south eastern part of Sicily declared World Heritage by Unesco for its Churches and beauties.

Vico Muccio is in a central position, a few minutes from the main cultural attractions, bars, shops and local restaurants. The house is nicely located in a silent alley of the old town with plenty of light.

The house has recently been restructured with local raw materials and by maintaining the local building traditions. This has made it comfortable and practical, with a well equipped kitchen that opens up on a delightful terrace, a bedroom and a spacious and warm living room where the sofa and armchair can become beds.

"Well appointed, spotless apartment with spectacular views from windows and terrace balconies. Enjoyed dining on balcony as dusk settled over heritage listed city. Friendly email conversations with Federica and warm welcome and introduction to the apartment from Enza made us feel at home immediately. Our stay in Modica

We were met by Enza who brought us to the apartment and had prepared everything. She even had prepared some local treats. We enjoyed the beautiful apartment in the old part of Modica. It was clean, very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The two beautiful balconies allowed for a spectacular view of the old city. We felt very much at home. We strongly recommend it and hope to return. Thank you!

Lovely house in Modica centre

Lovely house in the centre of Modica. Equiped with alle you need. Great view from the terrace. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. House lies in quiet street. Becuase the house lies somewhat higher than the street, some stairs are to be walked up. Even though it is quite busy on the streets, we could find a free parking place every day. Modica is also a great starting point for trips. e.g. Ragusa, Noto, Donnafugata.

Great apartment for staying in Modica.

We had a wonderful stay in Modica. The apartment was beautiful, spacious,well set up and secure. The location was close to everything with fantastic views of the old town from the windows and balconies. Enza who met us and showed us to the apartment was very helpful and even helped with arranging transport to the airport. Communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend !!

Incredible Views in a Historical Apartment

Views from the terraces and even from our bedroom window are stunning in this cosy, but spacious apartment. From the bedroom, even as we lie in bed, we could see the huge mountaintop clock tower that overlooks Modica. The second terrance is perfect for having a meal with a view.The apartment itself is simply but functionally furnished, and is well located for exploring the town. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to stay in an UNESCO World Heritage site and the apartment is a full of panoramic views from nearly every window. The parking situation and also taking your luggage up the stairs is a bit of a challenge but it is worth the effort for the views and it is a great value for the area.

Charming and well-presented

A great apartment in with lovely views over the rooftops of Modica and two great terraces to sit out on. Clean and well-presented with everything you might need.The owner Federica and the lady who welcomed us , Enza, were both extremely helpful. Modica has plenty of good places to eat and shops and amenities are all close to hand. Parking gets tricky in the busy part of the day but we found that if we parked further out of the centre on Via Maria Tedeschi and walked back we could get a space for the day. The town is perfectly positioned for visits to the other baroque towns nearby like Ragusa and Noto. Sampieri beach is a short drive away but there are many other beaches nearby too. We caught the train one day to Syracuse which proved to be a good way of visiting the city. The train takes ages though so only if you have time, get up very early and are in absolutely in no rush! The apartment is up several flights of stone steps (as are most in these towns ) but that would make it very difficult to access for anyone with walking difficulties and you have to be able to carry shopping and luggage yourselves so check that out with Federica if you have any doubts. Don't miss eating loads of ice cream, granite and the fabulous pastries - worry about your diet another day!

Wir haben uns in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage und die Aussicht ist wunderschön (2 Balkone!). Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation der Buchung mit der Vermieterin Federica und die Betreuung vor Ort durch Enza hat außerordentlich gut funktioniert. Beide sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!!! Tina und Kolmar

Vivere nella bellezza

L'appartamento è centrale ma silenzioso, pulito, accessoriato, arredato con gusto e ristrutturato intelligentemente nel rispetto dei materiali locali; ha due splendidi terrazzini vivibili affacciati sui tetti di Modica. Tutto contribuisce ad apprezzare la bellezza e la particolarità della città allontanandosi dai ritmi frenetici e superficiali, non ultimi i libri (anche per bambini) e i CD musicali che sono in dotazione alla casa. La proprietaria, sig.ra Federica, è stata prodiga di informazioni e la sig.ra Enza, che ci ha accolto a Modica, è stata premurosa, paziente e 'dolcissima'. Grazie per averci dato una settimana così speciale.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, perfekt ausgestattet, sehr sauber, mitten in der Altstadt von Modica mit toller Aussicht auf das bestechende Stadtbild und sehr angenehme und zuvorkommende Betreuung, rundum zufriedene Gäste: Für zwei Personen mehr als zu empfehlen. Anm.: Wegen der engen Stadtanlage (historische Altstadt) stehen in Modica centro generell keine privaten Autoabstellplätze zur Verfügung.

In October we stayed six days in this lovely apartment,restored and decorated in a beautiful way. We enjoyed to be there, and the location was excellent to explore and experience Modica. Très belle maison d'époque au coeur de Modica avec une superbe vue sur la vieille ville. Bien équipée et dotée de deux terrasses elle procure une tranquillité absolue. Modica s'est révélée une ville charmante idéalement située pour découvrir la Sicile baroque et son littoral. Une mention particulière pour l'accueil chaleureux d'Enza.

"L''appartement est très bien situé dans le centre de la ville basse près de tous les restaurants et petite marché de quartier. Deux grandes terrasses offrent une vue magnifique sur la ville. Des fenêtres éclaires l''appartement qui est vaste et très bien équipé. Nous avions tous les éléments de base disponible pour préparer les repas. Accueil très sympathique de la souriante Enza. Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour à Modica le charme d''une ville authentique. L''appartement a été notre pied a terre pour 4 jours et nous nous sommes pas ennuyé. La côte et les autres villes baroques sont accessibles très facilement. La campagne y est très jolie."

"Modica is an authentic town with a lot to see without being overrun by tourists and 4 Vico Muccio is an ideal location from which to experience it. It is close to the centre of town, both historical sites, cafes an restaurants and services and there is parking nearby. Fantastic views of the town are gained from the 2 balconies. It is in a very quiet location. The property is stylish with modern ammenities, washing machine and good cooking facilities an friendly neighbours. The personal contact is available if there is a problem and she provides a very warm welcome. We had a very enjoyable experience in the house experiencing daily life in Modica. Highly recommended"

"Vue incroyable sur la ville, ses deux vallées qui se rejoignent et les bâtisses qui s''y sont implantées. Très bien situé (pas d''accès direct en voiture mais à deux pas de la rue principale), très propre, meublé avec goût et très bien équipé. On a particulièrement aimé le plan de travail de la cuisine, très spacieux. Lit relativement haut perché (sans doute pour mieux apprécier la vue). Pièce de vie un peu sombre mais deux jolies terrasses. On nous a très bien reçus et la propriétaire a été disponible par courriel à plusieurs reprises. Une adresse que nous conseillons vivement."

Ha una bellissima vista sulla città ed è tranquillo e silenzioso, sebbene sia ubicato nel centro di Modica e quindi vicino a negozi, ristoranti e servizi.Gli unici problemi potrebbero essere rappresentati dal parcheggio e dal fatto che per raggiungerlo è necessario fare alcune rampe di scale."

"NL: mooi appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon, huiselijk, middenin het historische gezellige centrum. Niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn (parkeren moet ca 1 km vanaf het huis, ook de koffers moeten handmatig worden vervoerd). Het heeft 2 leuke terrassen, met prachtig uitzicht. Deze kunnen wat beter worden "aangekleed" (betere stoelen, parasol). EN; comfortable apartment,well furnished with all you could need, clean, in the historical and lively centre. Not suited for disabled people because parking place is about 1 km from the apartment, and also luggage must be carried that far. It has 2 nice terraces with a splendig vies. These terraces could need some attention (better chairs, parasol)"

"We were really impressed by the friendly welcome and pleasant attention and assistance given to us on our recent visit. The apartment is in a great location and is very comfortable.
