Wonderful stay!

We loved our week in Villedubert - the house was perfect for us and Lynda was a very accommodating host. The house is spacious and very well equipped. It is a short drive to Carcassonne and to great restaurants in Trebes. We would be happy to return!!

Super séjour a villedubert

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette maison spacieuse, très bien équipée pour 8 personne et surtout très bien climatisée. Les couchages sont très bien et pour les 2 grandes chambres la literie est impeccable. Le calme de ce petit village est très reposant. Vacances en famille à Carcassonne

Logement correspondant à l'annonce et à notre recherche. Très bien pour une famille. Maison bien équipée et bien située proche de Carcassonne, du Canal du Midi et des alentours où il y a beaucoup de beaux endroits à visiter. Les Paysages sont magnifiques et très variés. Nous y reviendrons car nous n'avons pas pu tout voir.

Très belle prestation!

Maison très agréable, bien équipée et très propre. Hôte très accueillante et disponible. La chambre à l'étage et la mezzanine gagnerait a être équipée de la climatisation, comme l'est le reste de la maison, pour les périodes de canicules comme cela a été le cas durant notre séjour. Cependant la maison étant spacieuse, on trouve des solutions! Merci encore à Lynda pour cette location et ses bons conseils! Marie-Jo et Laurent

Maison chaleureuse et très bien située

Nous sommes venus découvrir la région en famille avec nos 4 enfants âgés de 8 à 17 ans. Le grand plus : la Maison est extrêmement bien équipée (cuisine, sanitaires, jeux etc) ce qui est Vraiment très agréable. Les pièces climatisées sont appréciables après la chaleur de la journée et la terrasse permet de dîner à l’extérieur ...très sympa ! Nous avons apprécié la proximité du canal du midi et la beauté de la campagne environnante. A moins d’une heure de route il y a énormément de possibilités de randonnée baignade et visites ! Merci Lynda pour votre accueil chaleureux .

Very enjoyable stay in the heart of Occitania

Very spacious cottage in a small village close to Carcassonne. The owner has equipped the house with everything you could possibly need, from comprehensive kitchen utensils to bicycles. Wifi and air-conditioning both worked perfectly, despite the heatwave. Neighbours on hand to help with any problem. Huge supermarket about 5 minutes' drive away. Much to explore in the region, from Cathar castles to adventure parks.

Very disappointing; would not recommend due to owner

We are a mature professional couple holidaying with our grown up son and booked this property for the facilities, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine. Our late arrival was pre arranged with the owner and was due to our son's late arrival into Toulouse airport. We arrived at the property at the arranged time of 10.30 pm and the owner showed us around with the assistance of a neighbour acting as translator. Once the owner left we made a visit to the bathroom and this was when it became evident that there was no water available - not a drop from any of the taps, not even able to flush the loo. On calling the neighbour we were told that the water was off and may be back on in the morning - a minor detail which they omitted to mention. We had been travelling since 5am and needed a hot shower so decided to try and find somewhere else to stay even though it was late; fortunately we managed to find a 24 hr hotel with 2 available rooms and checked in at midnight. We e mailed the owner to let her know how disappointed we were that she had failed to inform us about the lack of water and to let her know that we had to check into a hotel at an additional cost. The response we got was that she was unaware of the lack of water - this was in spite of the fact that she lived in the adjoining property so it was a surprise that she didn't know about it. The following day we received a call from the neighbour to let us know that the water was back on so we returned to the property and started our holiday a day late. Having already paid for the property we considered it a reasonable request to ask for one night to be refunded to us; this was less than the cost of the hotel so we felt that it was a fair request. Ms Roth told us in an e mail that it was our choice to check into a hotel and she blamed our late arrival for the inconvenience - she was not prepared to make any compromise and did not refund any monies; we could have coped if the power had been cut but not without water. This is an extract from her e mail: "As for your hotel night, this was your choice. The house was available and without your very late arrival, everything would have gone well. I could not occupy my house that night and I also pay to occupy another place."

Merci Lynda de votre accueil et de votre disponibilité, même pour un départ très matinal de votre maison. J'ai trouvé que la maison a beaucoup de charme, et de plus est très bien équipée . J'ai beaucoup aimé le séjour dans votre maison. L'unique bémol : le vent d'autan empêchait de temps en temps de profiter de la terrasse.Le canal du Midi est tout proche à pied et le village de Villedubert très calme. Merci encore Lynda! Anne

Superb house in every way

Lynda's house is truly wonderful. It is in a very sweet village, full of friendly people, and is beautifully appointed. Everything is of a high quality and I cannot think of anything that could have been added to the decor, furniture or equipment. I heartily recommend the house to anyone and hope to stay there again myself.

Une superbe maison de vacances!

C’est sur la recommandation de ma sœur et de mon beau-frère, qui y ont séjourné avec leur famille l’an dernier, que nous avons décidé de louer la maison de Madame Roth, tout près de Carcassonne. Nous y avons séjourné avec notre fille aînée et avec deux amies, qui ont toutes trouvé la résidence formidable. La maison est vraiment charmante – tout comme son hôtesse – et fort bien aménagée. Six personnes peuvent y loger en tout confort et intimité. La cuisine est géniale, dotée de tout ce qu’on peut souhaiter comme commodités (lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, etc.), et les chambres sont très joliment décorées. Sans compter la terrasse, vraiment agréable à l’heure de l’apéro et des repas. Notre logeuse nous a suggéré des excursions très pertinentes dans les environs: La Grasse, Minerve et la Cité de Carcassonne. Toutes géniales, vraiment! Notre seul regret: y être restés une semaine seulement. Bref, je vous recommande cette location sans aucune réserve, car nous y avons eu beaucoup de plaisir en famille et entre amis!

“Excellent sejour”

Il s'agit d'une maison accueillante avec à notre disposition tout le confort souhaité pour profiter des vacances. Les vélos sont pratiques pour rejoindre la ville proche et se promener dans les environs sur les petites routes. Après avoir randonné ou visiter les sites magnifiques de la région, la terrasse vous accueille pour un petit apéritif avec un panorama magnifique. Le soir, repos bien mérité vous vous allongez dans un lit confortable. En bref, tout a été parfait pour nous. La propriétaire est charmante et répond rapidement à toutes vos questions avant votre séjour. Florent et sa collègue ont été souriants et fort sympathiques à notre arrivée et départ. Merci pour tout.

Belle Maison.que du bonheur rien a redire pour cette demeure ou rien ne manque en équipement et confort, "cuisine, salle de bains .....) agréable terrasse avec vue panoramique et belle exposition et bien agrémentée avec un contact excellent avec la propriétaire et son "adjoint Florent " toujours disponibles pour leurs hôtes + le petit + de bienvenue on s y sent comme chez soi,lieu propice au repos où tout et calme et où l'on oublie vite les tracas de la vie courante...lieu magique au pays des cathares! encore une chose : respecter ce lieux SVP Franchement espérons revenir avec joie dans cette maison et continuer notre visite de la région! merci a lynda et florent Marie-christine et Pascal (37 indre et loire)

"Sommes très contents de notre séjour à Villedubert - maison agréable dans le calme du petit village - acceuil sympatique par Michèle - espérons y revenir - beaucoup d'endroits qu'on n'a pas encore découvert.. pour nous l'abbaye à Caumes en Minervois était un des petits trésors de la région. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison très spacieuse et bien équipée.La vue de la terrasse est vraiment superbe.Des guides de randonnées sont à disposition pour nous aider à préparer de belles journées de marche ou à vélo. La région est magnifique.

What makes this property unique

House very well equipped and very functional. The terrace, facing south, overlooking the roofs of the village, offers wonderful views on the top of mountains and on a clear day, the Pyrenees. The calm of this small village, both near Carcassonne and away from all the pollution on city life is quite appreciable. The beds very comfortable, you will spend peaceful nights.
