This spacious and private property has beautiful views of the sea and mountains and everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The pool, pool bar and loungers along with the "Jungle shower" make sunny days a delight and a large covered area provides shade for lunch. Sonia and family are opposite and on hand to help out if needed (we did lose electricity twice) and their olives, tomatoes and figs were delicious. We made several outings to ancient sites - Messini, Nestor and Olympia included and enjoyed many different beaches from Voidokalia to closer ones with loungers or far more wild. Local fresh produce is just on the main road as well as a bakery and large supermarkets are 15 minutes away. If you are GF like some of us, remember take all bread with you and whether you are GF or not definitely eat at the BLE right on the beach and family run. Book for a table at the front. Great villa and hosts

Just returned from 9 nights at this beautiful villa...should have given it 4 out of 5 on its accuracy for listing but that would be mean because the property is so much BETTER than the pictures..we were met at the villa by Sonia and Freddy who from start to finish were great to see and communicate with..the villa is large grounds with a lovely green garden and incredible pool whilst inside had absolutely everything you need and was spotless..nice bar area around pool was the place to chill for a few beers whilst we ate under the large veranda ..can only say good things about villa and Sonia and Freddy...loved it

An Awesome Location

We had a wonderful time in September of 2015. Sonia and Freddy were wonderful hosts. Their place was perfect for our family of six. The location was centrally located and allowed us to visit Kalamata, Ancient Messini, Olympia, Pilos, and Methoni quite comfortably. The salt water swimming pool was great to come home to at the end of the day. The home overlooks the ocean and the mountains east of Kalamata so the view was great. And with olive and fig trees on the property it doesn't get much better. We'd certainly recommend Sonia and Freddy's place.

Wonderful villa for a holiday in the Peloponnese

We had a delightful stay in this very comfortable villa with a lovely pool and garden situated only 5mins from a wide, sandy beach (Analipsi) where we would swim in the sea before lunching at the excellent taverna nearby. Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable giving us great advice on places to see and eat etc. We were met at the airport and made the 10min journey to the villa, up through the little village of Drakoneri and into the olive groves. It’s a beautiful setting, peaceful and with a gorgeous view towards the bay. A long terrace beside the kitchen was where we ate every day and watched for geckos at night, sipping a G&T with lemons from the garden and nibbling on Kalamata olives prepared by Sonia from their own olive trees. As always the magic of Greece - its sunny climate, mountains juxtaposed with warm sea waters, unhurried ambience, fabulous cuisine and outgoing people- ensured that we had a very relaxing and happy holiday. We found ourselves alternating beach days with visits to towns and sites such as Ancient Messini (a highlight), Polylimnia waterfalls, museums and villages with gorgeous beach coves to the west. This area is the real deal and as yet not over developed and has so much to see and do! Kalamata with it’s excellent Archeological Museum is very interesting and the market is just fabulous. We have been visiting Greece regularly for 40 years and have found again in this area an authenticity of the early days which we thought had been lost and we will be coming back soon to explore more. Our only complaint- should have booked longer! Thank you Sonia and Freddy for all your kindnesses.

Geweldig verblijf in een practhtig huis met mooie tuin in een zeer interessante streek. Rustig, niet te toeristisch, strand, bergen, natuur en cultuur (oud-grieks, byzantijns, venetiaans, ottomaans,...). Je vindt letterlijk alles vlakbij, tot maximum een uur rijden.Het huis zelf valt niets op aan te merken, zeer goed voorzien van alles, je hebt nooit de indruk dat je maar in een vakantiehuis verblijft. Airco werkt overal heel goed, alle ramen hebben muggenziften en het zwembad en de buitendouche zijn heel aangenaam. Het contact met Sonia, die ons opwachtte bij aankomst en vlakbij woont, was zeer hartelijk. Alle informatie wordt aangeboden, vragen worden beantwoord en onze privacy werd gerespecteerd.Een echte verborgen parel in het midden van Messinia. PS het restaurantje in het dorpje, zonder menu, zonder website of wat dan ook, is een echte aanrader. Beste souvlaki van Griekenland.

Unvergesslich schön!

Wir haben wunderbar erholsame 11 Tage in Messini verbracht und sind besonders von der Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit der Besitzerin begeistert. Das Haus ist wunderschön, optimal ausgestattet, ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es 100% weiterempfehlen!

Excellent!

Excellent host, property, and location to explore lots of area...something for everyone. Privacy was always respected and the house was very clean and well equipped. Sonia is an excellent host with lots of information for you see/do in the area. Pool was fantastic as the Greece heatwave was too much to go exploring, some days, and was a nice way to keep cool and have some relaxing days in.

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft von sehr sehr herzlichen Vermietern. Blick auf die Bucht Kalamata. Es fehlt einfach nichts! Großes Haus mit ausreichend Platz für 2 Familien. Große überdachte Terasse mit großem Tisch. Toller Pool zur Abkühlung mit kleiner Bar und Außendusche. Schlafzimmer und Wohnbereiche sind klimatisiert. Vom Haus aus kann der Süden des Peloponnes in alle Richtungen erkundet werden. Schöne und vor allem niemals überlaufene Strände sind mit dem Auto in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Bäcker und Obst/Gemüseverkauf in 5 Autominuten. Einkaufsmlglichkeiten in Messini sind in 15 Autominuten erreichbar. Im Zentrum gibt es einen empfehlenswerten Fischladen. Den Fisch kann man z.B. auf dem Grill auf der Terasse des Hauses zubereiten!

Au milieu des oliviers !

Des propriétaires très sympathiques et très attentionnés pour vous permettre de passer un bon séjour. Très belle propriété au milieu des oliviers, totale intimité et très bien conçue vous y sentir comme chez vous! Bonne situation pour profiter de la région de Messini. Le plus les produits du jardin avec une très bonne huile d'olive!

Une maison très agréable à vivre pour des vacances dans le Peloponnèse, idéalement située !

Il faudrait être très difficile pour ne pas apprécier la maison de Sonia. C'est une location qui offre des prestations de qualité, une piscine et un jardin très agréable.Sans compter la gentillesse et l'accueil de Sonia et Freddy. Bref, nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Familienurlaub mit Freunden

Wir sind vollkommen zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Bei kleineren defekten ist sofort jemand gekommen zum reparieren. Was im Anzeigentext vielleicht nicht so hervorgeht. 2 Schlafzimmer sind mit 1nem gemeinsamen Bad und 1 Schlafzimmer separat mit einem Duschbad also Perfekt als Familie mit Freunden oder mit Oma und Opa den Terrassenbereich kann man schließen sodass man auch genau mitbekommt wenn die Kinder Richtung Pool gehen. Für uns war es perfekt und die Kommunikation mit Sonia und Freddy einfach und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder.

Najlepsze wakacje, wspaniałe miejsce.

Villa jest świetnie wyposażona we wszelkie niezbędne akcesoria. Duże sypialnie wyposażone w klimatyzacje. Łóżka bardzo wygodne. Mnóstwo miejsca. Bardzo przestronna kuchnia z jadalnią-niczego nie brakuje. Wielki taras. Basen idealnie przygotowany dla rodzin z dziećmi, wyposażony w leżaki, materace, zabawki. Gospodarze bardzo mili i pomocni w każdej sprawie. Dzięki właścicielom Mieliśmy okazje poznać lokalną kulturę, objadać się produktami własnego wyrobu (oliwki, oliwa, figi, orzechy, pomidory). Bardzo dziękujemy Soni i Frediemu za wspaniałe wakacje. Z utęsknieniem czekamy na następna okazje by ponownie spędzić wakacje w tym samym miejscu. Jesteśmy zobowiązani i dziękujemy za najlepsze wakacje.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir waren im Juli 14 Tage mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern in Drakonerie. Sonia und ihr Mann waren sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Ich habe selten, eine so gut eingerichtete Küche in Ferienhäusern gesehen. Besonders zu erwähnen sind die große schattige Terrasse mit Grill und der schön angelegte Garten mit Pool. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt, die Umgebung lädt zu Ausflügen ein. Besonders sehenswert fanden wir Kardamili. Zum schönen Bouka Bouka Strand ist es ebenfalls nicht weit. Es war rundum ein gelungener Urlaub!

Excellent sejour chez Sonia et Freddy

Une villa en tout point conforme à la description et parfaite pour les séjours en famille .Très bien située pour conjuguer farniente et visites culturelles. nous sommes restés 15 jours et serions bien restés plus longtemps. Accueil chaleureux et convivial de Sonia et Freddy disponibles et de bon conseil. Greece you don't know....

A magical place, away from resorts, people, tourist noise. Beautiful surroundings, olive groves, vines and prickly pears. Large comfortable, modernly furnished house with a comfortable terrace and swimming pool, all surrounded by an exotic garden. Kindest owner, serving advice and help at any time. What more could you want? I would highly recommend :)

Wunderbare Woche in tollem Haus

Wir waren 6 Personen, 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, und haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem schönen Haus. Viel Platz! Viel ungestörter Freiraum für alle, eine wunderbare Terrasse und ein genialer Pool. Die Vermieterin Sonja war sehr nett! Alles ganz unkompliziert. In jedem Fall empfehlenswert. Die Umgebung bietet viel Ausflugsmöglichkieten.

Un séjour inoubliable !

La maison et son équipement sont parfaits, l'emplacement également pour toutes les visites à faire aux alentours, et puis Sonia notre hôte est vraiment exceptionnelle, pour tous ses renseignements, ses services et son extrême gentillesse !
