About this property
Cabin Over the Pond
Beautiful cabin in Casco, Maine with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Tucked away in the hemlocks overlooking Parker Pond, it's a great getaway destination for any season. Enjoy 160 feet of waterfront on Parker Pond, a large, clear lake deep enough for boating, but much quieter than busy Lake Sebago. The home includes three floors of living space, a fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. Large windows and a 22 foot ceiling complement the spacious wraparound deck on the main floor. Look out over the beautiful lake, take a canoe to the island and look for loons, jump off the swim dock, fish, or just relax with friends and family...
In the winter, our location is excellent for cross country and downhill skiing, snow tubing and more. Shawnee Peak Ski Resort is 30 minutes west and Sunday River Ski Resort is an hour north. There's nothing better than coming back to a beautiful view and a warm fire after a day outdoors.
The house is equipped with fast Wifi for all of your internet needs, and the TV includes Chromecast to easily stream videos (like Netflix or Hulu) or photos from your phone or tablet.
There's lots to do, and we'll provide you with details on places to go and things to see - such as where to find great restaurants and groceries or what fun festival might be happening around town. Go 5 minutes down the road for ice cream, apple picking, wine tasting, or hiking. 15 minutes away you can ride go-karts, play mini golf, check out other lakes and beaches, go horseback riding or tour the area in a sea plane. The house is also only 45 minutes from Portland or Freeport, Maine or North Conway, NH - all great day trip destinations.
Now booking for Summer 2017! Please note that during July and August, weekly rentals begin Sunday at 3pm and end Sunday at noon.

Why they chose this property
We bought this house because it feels like vacation the moment you step onto the property - maybe it's the stunning view and huge wraparound deck or the large windows and fireplaces, but it's relaxing and rejuvenating every time we visit.
What makes this property unique
The house is fairly close to Portland yet you get a unique feeling of privacy. The gorgeous lake is large with crystal clear water, and never crowded like other lakes in the area. You may see someone in a kayak or a pontoon boat from time to time, but the neighborhood is nice with large lots and people who live there year round. The house has 145 feet of water frontage and is surrounded by tall pines, giving it privacy and a feeling of floating in the trees.
