The Mountain Bear Cabin is perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway or a gathering of friends. It offers 2 driveways for easy parking of 4 or 5 vehicles.

When you walk up to this home there is a huge front porch with a covered entry. Venture inside to the newly remodeled home and you'll also find a very modern kitchen that has everything you need which looks onto the dining area perfect for entertaining.

The home is built around this truly 'great room' feel with lots of seating for large family dinners. An overstuffed sectional couch and a cozy fireplace is perfect for snuggling up and watching a movie on the flat screen tv. There is also a DVD Express at the local Thriftway (like a red box) or you can watch one of our many 250+ selection of Blu-ray/dvds. If you have a show you need to catch up on you can watch cable tv or Netflix from the Blu-Ray player. If watching tv is not what you planned there are plenty of board games for the whole family along with an Xbox 360 Kinect with games, and wifi access.

After a long day skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or biking, walk out of the French doors onto the back deck and take a dip in the 6 person hot tub equipped with multi colored lights, lounge and a waterfall feature. The large fully fenced back yard has an outdoor dining table, fireplace, lots of seating, and a separate huge fire pit for s'mores. The garage is also full of entertainment with ping pong, double basket ball, darts, and foosball.

When it's time for bed or if you would like to have quiet reading time there are 4 separate sleeping areas:

The bedroom on the main has a twin over full bunk bed, a twin size futon, and a hidden room with drop down stairs that kids love with a full size mattress. This room also has its own flat screen tv with Xbox 360 and games. The sitting area off the great room has a fold out queen couch. The room has curtains to close off the great room for a private sleeping area.

The vaulted master suite has a King size bed, private balcony, private bath, walk in closet, and a futon.

The Sandy River is only a short walk from the cabin. We are confident you will absolutely love this place!
