Really great Holiday Home

The holiday home is very lovingly and beautifully furnished and really has everything you need (in real life it is much nicer than it appears in the pictures). The hostess is very friendly and you really have peace and quiet there. Highly recommended

Nettes Haus, Vermieterangaben nicht stimmig

Das Haus hat eine Hanglage mit einem sehr schönen Meerblick, ein eigenes Kfz ist allerdings unabdingbar, da das Zentrum von Capo D'Orlando zu Fuß aufgrund der steilen Straßen und der Entfernung nur schwer erreichbar ist. An sich ist es innen sehr schön, allerdings ist die Angabe von 4 Badezimmern unserer Meinung nach sehr gewagt, denn das Haus verfügt über ein Masterbad, bei den anderen "Zimmern" handelt es sich um Nischen, welche in den Wänden eingelassen sind. Bei einem der Schlafzimmer sieht das Bad so aus, dass beinahe über dem WC der Duschkopf hängt, außer für Kleinkinder ist so etwas nicht als Dusche zu nutzen. Die Bezeichnung "Klimaanlage" ist ebenfalls mit Vorsicht zu genießen, denn es gibt exakt einen Raum, der klimatisiert ist, für den Rest ist dies nicht der Fall. Von den drei Schlafzimmern sind zwei geräumig, das dritte ebenso, jedoch ist es eher ein Aufenthaltsraum, der mittels Ausziehcouch als Schlafzimmer genutzt werden kann. Die Küche ist von den Geräten her minimal ausgestattet, jedoch gibt es eine eigene Waschmaschine. Geschirr, Gläser, Utensilien etc. sind ausreichend vorhanden. Uns wurde vor der Anreise gesagt, dass das W-Lan nur schwach sei, de facto ist es jedoch gar nicht vorhanden, da trotz intensiver Bemühungen in zwei Wochen Aufenthalt keine einzige Verbindung damit zustande gekommen ist. Wir sind der Meinung, dass ehrlichere Angaben bezüglich der Räumlichkeiten hier von Vorteil gewesen wären. Als wir teilweise diese Umstände per Mail urgiert hatten, bekamen wir zur Antwort, dass wir eben lieber irgendwo in Miami 2 Tage um das gleiche Geld wie hier für 14 Tage buchen hätten sollen, diese "Empfehlung" kam uns höchst entbehrlich vor, um es diplomatisch auszudrücken. Gesamtfazit: Nettes Haus, tolle Umgebung, Super Strände, eigenes Auto erforderlich, eher für Familien mit Kindern als für Erwachsenengruppe geeignet.

Wunderschönes, liebevoll restauriertes Haus über der Bucht von Capo d’Orlando

Das Haus liegt über der Hafenbucht von Capo d’Orlando mit atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Bucht. Alles ist bis ins Detail liebevoll und stimmig restauriert, das Haus mit allem Komfort ausgestattet.Der Pool sist ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und bietet Abkühlung, ohne ans Meer fahren zu müssen. Auto ist in jedem Fall ein Muss, da das Haus etwas abgelegen im Berghang liegt, mit dem Auto ist man aber in 10 Minuten zum nächsten Einkaufszentrum, in Brolo oder Capo d’Orlando. Capo d‘Orlando und das Umland mit den Monti Nebrodi sind wundervoll grün und abwechslungsreich, die Badestrände kristallklar, allerdings mit Kieselstrand. Wanderungen im Nationalpark Monti Nebrodi sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne nochmal wieder!

Vue magnifique à proximité des commerces

Location très bien située avec vue magnifique sur la mer et les iles Eoliennes (départ en bateau de Capo d'Orlando possible). Tout confort et aménagé avec beaucoup de gout. Connection internet intermittente mais possible. Pas de climatisation mais nous n'avons pas souffert de la chaleur pendant les 3 semaines du séjour. Piscine et jardins très agréables. Proximité de l'autoroute sans nuisance sonore significative et permettant de rayonner pour visites. Plage et ville à respectivement 2 et 4km. Propriétaires très serviables et accueillants. Nous recommandons cette location sans aucune réserve.
