L'Abri Gite Tranquille welcomes you in a very decorative 80m2 house with private indoor spa and large heated swimming pool, nestled on a 6000 m2 property bordered by a stream, in a small hamlet in the heart of the Vendée hedged farmland. For a resolutely relaxing stay, l'Abri Gite Tranquille offers you 2 bedrooms separated by a fixed partition with a bay window (convertible into a suite for two people) with a very comfortable king size bed in 180 cm and two beds in 90 cm , a comfortable living room of 26 m2 with corner sofa , a fully equipped kitchen and a large 20m2 bathroom with a 5-person spa (including an elongated) high-end (active oxygen ozonator, 36 hydrojets, 21 jets) Two separate toilets, on the ground floor and upstairs. Parking and landscaped terrace, ping pong table, library, flat screen, DVD player, board games, sheep, chickens, vegetable patch, heated swimming pool from april to october, pool to share with the owner (11.5 mx 5 m), hiking and biking trails. Leaving the cottage will make your stay an exceptional moment. Holiday checks accepted. House cleaning fees : 60 euros.

How often is something described so accurately - everything was as it should be, lovely quiet location and the gite had everything you would need. Christine was an amazing host and always contactable - what more could anyone want - if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life then definitely would highly recommend this cottage 😀

Cosy house in a quiet area

We had a relaxing stay in a lovely house. The house is exactly as described and is very clean! The neighbourhood is peaceful and the wifi is good. Many thanks to the owner, who is very welcoming and available during the stay. We would recommend this house to everyone!

Gîte lives up to it's name!

The Gîte certainly lives up to it's name "Tranquille". We enjoyed an excellent two week stay here and were very happy with the gite, the location, facilities and the access to the surrounding areas of the Vendee. The pool is amazing and we also enjoyed feeding the chickens and sheep. Thank you for a wonderful holiday cottage.

The gite was amazing and location easy to get to from Caen, would definitely recommend a stay here as the pool and hot tub was a bonus and everything you needed. Patio a real sun trap. Communication was good and fresh peaches from the tree was great

Wonderful accomodation in idyllic surroundings

We are a family who use accommodation as a base to tour. This property allowed us to travel throughout the surrounding area and most importantly to attend put du fou.Accommodation is well finished and has the added bonus of access to a large swimming pool and spa bath. If you are holidaying a younger family it's a great location with play equipment, a large field and some chickens and sheep. House is well finished, the only drawback is low beams in the upstairs bedrooms. But this is probably the same as many barn. conversions.Owner is lovely and very attentive, would heartily recommend.

A beautiful place to be

Je ne parle pas français, so please forgive me leaving this appreciation in english. I guess that's the better way then using "Google Translator". We had a wonderful 2 weeks stay in l'abri-gîte tranquille. The house itself was, I would guess, an old staple and now is a holiday flat. Everything is like shown on the pictures on the website. It's really lovely furnished everything is well arranged. There are a lot of nice paintings wich were painted by the owner (Brigitte). By the way Brigitte is a very lovely woman. Although she speaks no german and we don't speak any french, we could talk in english. There was never a problem with this. She brought us some fresh eegs from her hens, Zucchinis and tomatoes from her garden - very tasty. The house ist clean and neat. You find everything you need. The kitchen is small but sufficient for an holiday home. The highlight is for sure the large bathroom with the jacuzzi and the large private patio with the table tennis table. Last but not least you can use the big and very neat pool in the owners garden evertime you want. Me and my family (2 adults, 1 child and the dog) can clearly recommend a stay in l'abri-gîte tranquille PS: If you have a dog there are a lot of possibilities to have a walk To Brigitte: Thank you once again for 2 relaxed weeks

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Kinder haben den Pool und die Tiere geliebt. Wir Erwachsenen haben die Ruhe auf dem wunderschönen Grundstück genossen. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor der Haustür. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Christine war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Superbe gite avec une très belle piscine, un jardin et des animaux, très bien équipé seul inconénient les chambres sous les toits par une grosse chaleur rendent le ventilateur indispensable, par ailleurs attention à la poutre centrale pour les grands ! Christine est une hôte parfaite! Présente et discrète, elle a donné toutes les explications qu' il fallait. Le gîte est magnifique et conforme à nos attentes et aux photos. Il ne manquait rien. C' était un joli séjour à refaire sans hésiter. N hésitez pas à y aller les yeux fermés, nous vous le recommandons.

Maison chaleureuse, en pleine campagne. Très jolie et atypique. La propriétaire est disponible, à l'écoute et très aimable. Cependant le gîte n'était pas très propre, surtout le sol. Mais tout y est pour de sentir comme à la maison. Petite douceur en cadeau. Et le spa est idéal pour y passer de belles soirées. Merci encore
