This spacious, six-bedroom, beachfront villa is designed to maximize the gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea and is a perfect private retreat. Built in 2005 and just renovated to add a stunning 6th master bedroom on the 3rd floor with commanding views of the Caribbean , Sol Haa is the perfect luxury villa.

The spacious villa is tastefully decorated with attention to detail, including artwork and fine furnishings, emphasize its comfortable elegance. Enjoy a cool margarita while lounging by the private pool or while star gazing while lounging by the lit pool in the evening. Our full time staff will ensure the Villa and grounds are well kept ,allowing you to relax and enjoy your own private retreat.

Our Villa has been designed to the highest standards with granite countertops in the gourmet kitchen and throughout the 6.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and 3 of the bedrooms have beautiful beach views. There are King beds in 3 of the bedrooms , 2 bedrooms have Queen beds and 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a single sofa bed in one of the large master bedrooms. Villa Sol Haa's design also has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor allowing easy access for the handicapped or elderly. We are also very child friendly and set up with cribs, high chairs, and baby gates. Custom designed furniture is the finishing touch for this high end villa. If you have a bigger group we have a sister 4 bedroom villa on the property as well.

The grounds are lush and tropical with palm coconut ,and banana trees being just a few of the many different plants on the property. Imagine sipping from a fresh coconut ( providing coconuts are ripe ) my staff have given you while lounging by the pool under a palm tree!!

Family Vacation Time

We traveled from Alaska and Germany to meet up and have the most amazing 2 weeks. The location is phenomenal. With a rental car we were constantly having new adventures and making a lifetime of memories.

Everything about this property was superb! Martin the property manager and his wife were by everyday, to clean. Beto, next door at Tartuga Beach club was most helpful with transportation, food, drinks, he became a member of our family, so kind and helpful! Can't say enough about our experience at this absolutely beautiful property! Highly recommend!

Great family get-together!

This property was in the perfect location! Everything was just as represented. Our family of 9 ranging from 5-65 had a terrific time. There was a mechanism in place to have groceries delivered prior to arrival which saved us lots of time and money. Martin was absolutely helpful on everything!

Beachfront house with pool

My family recently stayed at the Sol Haa house on Cozumel and had a wonderful time. The house itself has a wide variety of rooms all with on-suite bathrooms which really helps when you have 3 girls age 11+ staying together. Although Tortugas restaurant and beach club was closer than we realized (I believe photos have been updated since we booked), other reviews are spot on regarding the friendliness of the neighbors. Tortugas went above and beyond to welcome us and let us use their facilities (e.g., snorkeling gear, water trampoline) which was definitely a bonus. We ended up with a ton of rain during our stay which did impact our trip but we had lots of support from the property owner, onsite managers and more.

Great house!

We had a great time at this house. The house is comfortable plenty spacious and the air conditioning works great! Know before you book that though this is beach front, there is not play sand or an area for kiddos to go into the water. There is a bridge that you walk out to snorkel etc. but you cannot beat poolside service at the bar/restaurant next door. We enjoyed the dock for sure. We all felt very safe and well cared for. Shopping basically right next door too with gosh pedicures, massages, pharmacies, etc. Our cooks were amazing!

The perfect place to celebrates dad's 60th

We loved our stay at Villa Sol Haa. This was my second time staying at the property, and the home and setting once again did not disappoint. My parents, five siblings, spouses, and a 2-year-old nephew traveled together to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. The home, pool, and beach were the perfect setup for us. With the combination of private chefs for meals and the availability of Tortugas next door, every need we had during our stay was taken care of by Martin, Sandra, Fulvino, our chefs, or the attentive bartenders next door. We rarely wanted to leave the pool and view. We snuck away one day to scuba dive with an easy pick-up on the Tortugas dock. The home is perfect for family and friends traveling together. Thank you, Nicholas and crew, for such a great trip and experience!

Paradise

Our family reunion in Cozumel was a "once in a lifetime" trip! Sol Ha was perfect, with one exception, the music from the bar restaurant plays all day. They shut it off at 6pm, which made it acceptable. Everything else was absolutely wonderful, and the house easily fit all 12 of us. Martin' and his wife (property managers) are wonderful people, welcoming us, and even taking great care of us when we needed a Doctor! They and their 2 dogs are the kindest folks you'll ever meet! We wish we never had to leave! Highly recommended!

Great property, everything we needed for a friend vaca!

There were 9 of us who stayed, a mix of couples and singles. The location was great in terms of proximity to the ocean. There are some places to walk to for food and drinks, but most are touristy so we didn't spend too much time there. We rented cars, and appreciated the fact that we had space to park 2 cars on the property and they were very safe. Martin, the caretaker, was super sweet and very helpful. He didn't speak great English but still gave us recommendations for places to grocery shop and also go out to eat. The house was clean, well located (about 20 minutes from downtown but in a quiet and fairly safe area), and communication with the host was good. I would definitely stay again. Only issue was that the refrigerator & freezer do not get super cold - so the ice wasn't fully frozen sometimes, and the items in the fridge might spoil quickly.

Best Place in Cozumel

Villa Sol Haa is truly the best place to stay in Cozumel! The location is perfect...as are the accommodations. The beds are comfy, the living space and dining area are adequate for large groups, the views are phenomenal, and having Tortuga's next door is convenient and fun! We had a chef (Edgar) for the week from Sandra's Kitchen who was fabulous ! He had our house stocked with groceries and chips, salsa, guacamole and margaritas ready when we arrived. Priceless! Almendra and team were our divemasters for the week and they were top notch! Our 4 kids are now certified divers and the process was first class every step of the way. Fulvio was available to answers any questions during our stay make great local suggestions. Don't miss having a meal at Punta Sur Cerveceria. Fabulous food, beer & service! You won't be disappointed! It was a prefect week for our crew!

Beautiful Location

We loved the location of this property. It is South, away from the huge resorts and tourist traps. Tortugas Beach Club is at the end of the property and Money Bar Beach Club was walkable and easy to get to. Everyone was happy with their rooms. Cozumel offered us a lot of activities, snorkeling, scooter ride to the Eastern side of the island, boat to Columbia Shallow & Cielo. BEAUTIFUL! Manuel was responsive with house maintenance. The kitchen was used ALOT. We had Chef Antonio Huerta come prepare us meals (breakfast & lunch several times). He was amazing and loved his craft. Dinners we went out to town and explored all the Tacqueria and local places. A new dishwasher would be a good upgrade. Thank you Nicholas, we had a wonderful time. WE will be back!

Relaxing week in paradise!

This Villa is beautiful and you can't beat the location - the ocean is your backyard! The rooms were spacious and living/common areas were comfortable and inviting! Martin & Mercedes, the caretakers, were always available to us if we needed anything! They went above and beyond for us. The pool area was nice and it was nice to have the option to swim in the ocean. The chaise loungers were a bit dated but one was replaced immediately when we had a defective chair. The owner, Nicholas, was kind and informative from the start. I do recommend you take your own pool towels as I asked for the villa's towels to be washed but unfortunately, they have a service that does the washing and they wouldn't be returned until the day we left. This is absolutely a family friendly location. Tortugas, the beach club next door, did play music throughout the day and were absolutely not bothered by it. And definitely stunning sunsets to view! Booking was seamless from start to finish!

Helpful staff, nice vacation stay

After some initial cleanliness issues, which management resolved immediately, and some rearranging of bedroom furniture due to mutual miscommunications, which management resloved immediately, it was a very nice stay at a great house on the beach. There is a beach club directly next door, who sent a server up to the pool to encourage us to buy food and drinks from them, which, ended up being a little bit less helpful and more annoying (and expensive), and the music they played was very loud, but ended by 6-7pm (they close at 5pm) when the staff went home for the night. As advertised, there isn't any laundry for guests, but the property manager was very accomodating and offered to take laundry in to town which was very nice. Overall, it was an excellent location, and the owner/management are very responsive and accomodating. I would recommend this highly to a family or group of active adults looking for a vacation spot on Cozumel that isn't a hotel/resort environment. If you have younger children who will need a quieter environment for napping, I would reconsider because of the neighboring beach club party scene which caters to the cruise ship visitors. For us, it was ideal.

Perfect home and location for our group!

This was my 4th trip to Cozumel in the past 8 months! This home was the BEST! First of all I have to brag on the property/house keepers! Martin and Mercedes are very welcoming and polite. They will bless you so much! I wish I could bring them home . The home is located in a very nice area and it's very quiet. It's located directly on the beach, and you have the private pool to enjoy as well. The views are outstanding! The home is extremely nice and very comfortable. We used Sandra's Kitchen to come in and cook all our meals and I have to say that's a huge plus! They do all the cooking and clean up. You just relax in the ocean, snorkeling or walking on the beach and they will come in and do all the cooking. The kitchen has all the gadgets you could possibly need and a cold, cold fridge to store all your beverages. Martin and Mercedes work hard keeping the grounds up, pool clean and home maintained. It's like a 5 star home all for your own private use! Oh, there is a small restaurant located directly next door and they will even check on you throughout your time outdoors to see if you need any food or beverages. They delivered to our pool every day! Great vacation home to enjoy!!! We'll be back!

Phenomenal House, Location and Property Manager

From the moment of our arrival to the last one out of our 9 adults and 1 grandchild, we had not only a wonderful weather week but a tremendous time for every reason. The house was PERFECT for all of us in terms of privacy and group time. The location on the beach with a private pool and Tortugas Beach club next door, we never had any wants that could not be satisfied. Martine the maintenance caretaker cleaned the house and pool every day and met us when we arrived. He and his wife were wonderful. Fulvio and Ariel, the property managers, were incredibly responsive prior to our arrival and helped us with every questions. We used Sandraskitchen.com for chef made meals every night which not only saved trying to get us all out together for dinner but was Mexican Gourmet amazing. Chef Miguel was incredible and the food delicious. Any leftovers we heated up for breakfast or lunch. The area is quiet at night and the younger adults rented scooters for a day trip. Diving was also wonderful and we could use the dock at Tortugas for the dive boat. The snorkeling was also very good right off the pirate beach. We had to figure out the hot water in order to ensure everyone had hot showers. The key was running the cold for a few minutes then turning on the hot which sputtered first and then came out wonderfully hot and plentiful. I am not sure what kind of system it was but it worked ! Not My Top Pick

I feel it is only fair to be honest. We are paying a lot of money and we expect what we pay for. When we first arrived the house was not what we expected..The house smelled so musty I almost spent the money for another place. Granted they just had a huge storm but to have a thatched roof in one of the bedrooms is not a smart idea.. I called manager and they did what they could to make it better but the roof was soaked. The next day the place looked a lot better and we put towels around the door cracks where the smell was coming from. The rest of the stay was great and the bar next door went above and beyond getting whatever our hearts desired.. Overall the place could be a 5 star but needs updating. It has some tiles broken through out the house,about 6 shower tiles were broke , face plates were not secured to wall etc. Even though it was so convenient to be picked up right at the bars deck which is about 100ft away and the bar itself so close.. I’m not sure if I would pay that kind of money to stay there and we have stayed at least 4 other upscale houses all near by and they were with no doubt work every penny. I do have to say the manager Fulvio is great in responding to our needs and concerns to make us happy but if the owner doesn’t put the effort and money to keep up with wear and tear there’s only so much anyone can do. I hope this helps you pick your wonderful oasis for your vacation.

Quiet spot and beautiful home for a relaxing getaway

We just returned from our stay at Villa Sol Haa. Our group of adult couples found the home ideal for our stay in Cozumel. For location, it's far enough away from the bustle of San Miguel, and still only a 10 minute taxi ride away. Tortugas Beach Club, right next door was a great spot to relax. Several other beach beverage spots were within walking distance, including the Money Bar and Sky Reef. For snorkeling, there is decent snorkeling right off of the property. The home was well equipped with cooking equipment, food service, blenders, and beach towels. We especially liked having an operating dishwasher! Bedrooms were all bright, cheerful, with great air conditioning. We used only the upper rooms, which all had great views. The lower bedrooms looked just as nice, although without the views. WiFi and television amenities in the Villa were the best we've had in any trip to Mexico - we used this mostly for music, since it was a getaway, after all. The property owner and property manager were very responsive throughout our booking process and during our stay. Caretaking and daily cleaning service was good, with linens replaced mid-week. A minor problem with lighting was resolved the same day. For cleanliness overall, the only issue we noticed was keeping flooring/feet clean; somehow we ended up with a fine dust on our feet, no matter how careful not to wear shoes into the home. We chalked this up to being in and out of the house and allowing fine dust to accumulate. I would readily recommend this property for adult groups to gather for a week on Cozumel, based on our experience. I would also think this location would be great for a family gathering. There's plenty of interior and exterior gathering space, while allowing for plenty of private space as well. My thanks to everyone involved in making our stay at Villa Sol Haa so memorable and enjoyable!

AMAZING HOME in beautiful Cozumel

We have stayed at this property two times now and I can't wait to return again. The home is beautifully located directly on the beach and has a private pool. The beautiful sunsets will never disappoint and the home is the most comfortable on the island. Nice furniture, comfortable beds and a kitchen that is very well stocked are just a few of the wonderful perks. The best perk is Mercedes and Martin that are the property keepers that live on property. They are truly amazing! They stayed out of our way, but we always enjoyed them. They take great care in the property and are always available if you have questions. They are truly wonderful and I'd love to bring them home with me! Cozumel Jewell

12 family members enjoyed a week-long stay. The property was well-cared for and the property caretakers, Mercedes and Marteen, were very agreeable. Terrific location with a lovely beach-bar, Tortugas, next door. The only "rub" for us what the hit and miss hot water. After a day at the beach everyone wants to clean-up prior to dinner. Some bathrooms had hot water for showers while others did not. Overall, it was a wonderful week and we'd do it all again in a year or two. Thank you

Great, but a few changes would make it exceptional

The house was very nice, but I don’t understand why one of the bedrooms would use a thatched roof. It was one of the nicest bedrooms with a balcony facing the pool and ocean, but the smell of the thatched roof was like a hay barn. It was a waste of a beautiful area for us in that allergies are an issue in my family. Other than that, the house was so comfortable including the beds. The water is crystal clear and snorkeling was fun. There is no reef, but you will see several small reef fish in the pockets, plus many larger fish (12”) hang around looking for a tortilla. The bar next door is so accommodating and someone will bring you food and drinks whenever you like. Our kids and grandkids loved the pool, and spent a majority of there time there. Careful on renting a vehicle. Check the quality of the vehicle before renting. Many jeeps are on their last legs and close to unsafe. Overall, a great trip and the house was perfect for us. I gave 4 stars due to the one beautiful, but wasted thatched roof room.

You will LOVE Villa Sol Haa!

Everything was wonderful here. We arrived late due to our flight, but Martin was right at the gate to greet us! The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 9 people. The pool was perfect, and Martin and Mercedes cleaned every day.(except their day off) They were so wonderful!!!! I looked forward to seeing them everyday just to say hello. Martin was so great when I told him I was learning Spanish. He gave me new words and phrases each day. The house is just like pictured. Well stocked kitchen including a great blender to make smoothies or Pina coladas. The kids (ages15-24) enjoyed watching Netflix in the family room in the evenings, and we enjoyed the quiet in our rooms. There is also a great grassy spot that we did yoga in the mornings. The location of the house is perfect! You can walk to the Money Bar in 15 minutes one way, and Chankanaab Park is less than that the other way. Tortugas is right next door and we started a tab with Beto. He would stop by on a regular basis to see if we needed anything. The prices there are not cheap, but worth it when the kids wanted a snack. We also hired Sandra's Kitchen for three days, along with stocking the house before our arrival. I do recommend that. They were wonderful, and there was way more food than we could eat. I honestly don't want to stay anywhere else when I come back. Everyone was so wonderful. Ariel, who is the manager came by to great us, but only my mother and father were there. He emailed me to follow up. Everyone is very quick to respond to anything you need here. And I can't say enough about how wonderful Martin and Mercedes are. Again, you will LOVE it here!

Why they chose this property

As Canadians traveling to Cozumel we found a very rare beachfront lot while visiting Cozumel and purchased the lot . Cozumel is a great family oriented island and our kids love our beach and lush tropical property.We built Villa Sol Haa shortly after purchasing the property and have enjoyed staying at our villa every opportunity we can.

What makes this property unique

The snorkeling off our beach is some of the best on the island. With the calm clear waters kids of all ages can enjoy the aquatic life in as little as 2' of water . My villa is on a rare beachfront lot and we have full time caretakers that clean the villa 6 days per week. Sitting under a palm tree having a cool tropical drink while lounging by the pool overlooking the almost unbelievable Azure blue waters of the caribbean, is something that is very special to us.
