Gite Brianny

Nous avons été gentiment accueillis par la fille des propriétaires. La maison a du caractère, avec un beau jardin clos. Malheureusement, notre séjour a été perturbé par un certain nombre de choses. La maison ne convient pas aux personnes âgées, ni à celles qui mesurent plus de 1,75 cm. Le passage de la chambre principale est à 1,75 cm de hauteur et le plafond est très bas. On se cogne continuellement la tête. De plus, les 2 salles de bains ne sont absolument pas adaptées. Dans les deux salles de bains, il faut franchir un mur de baignoire élevé pour se doucher. Les personnes de grande taille (plus de 1,75 cm) ne peuvent pas entrer dans la douche. De plus, la pomme de douche ne fonctionne pas correctement. Dans l'une des salles de bains, la peinture s'écaille. Le propriétaire a résolu le problème en nous donnant la clé d'un autre gîte avec une douche normale (également dans une baignoire). Mais cela signifiait qu'il fallait traverser le village tous les matins avec la trousse de toilette jusqu'à l'autre maison (comme dans un camping). Nous pensons que le prix de la location est totalement disproportionné par rapport à ce qui a été offert et nous donnerions en fait un paiement financier. La maison est trop chère pour la qualité. De plus : dehors dans un hamac plein de feuilles et d'excréments d'oiseaux. Il n'y avait aucune information sur la région. Il y a un manque d'amour ici. Nous sommes désolés d'écrire cela, mais pour ce prix on s'attend à mieux.

Un gîte très rustique

Tout d'abord les points positifs : l'indéniable charme général qu'offre cette chaumière digne d'un conte. Matelas des chambres confortables, lits déjà faits. Cuisine plutôt bien équipée. Eclairage plutôt bon car logement sombre sinon. Garde bien la fraîcheur dans les pièces du bas en tant de canicule. Le jardin apporte l'ombre nécessaire. Barbecue pratique mais pas nickel. Les meubles de recup apporte un côté rustique supplémentaire mais ne sont pas toujours fonctionnels. Le village est calme, on entend plus les tracteurs que les voitures. Pour nous il était idéalement situé entre les sites que nous voulions visiter en Côte d'Or et le Morvan . Région vraiment superbe et peu envahi par les touristes. Je tiens aussi à souligner que c'est la seule propriétaire à avoir accepté de nous louer 10j du dimanche au mercredi, tous les autres s'entêtant à louer du samedi au samedi. Pas de caution demandée. Appréciable Maintenant les aspects négatifs : Mon mari a du aspirer les nombreuses toiles d'araignée qu'il y avait partout, heureusement que nous ne faisons pas partie des gens arachnophobes...Aucune insonorisation au niveau des planchers des chambres (c'est le plus gros défaut du gite), et les odeurs de cuisine remontent dans la chambre enfant. Les portes des chambres ne ferment pas et sont beaucoup trop basses, nous nous sommes cognés à de nombreuses reprises. Il ne faut pas mesurer plus d'1m70 pour ce gîte ! Les petits volets de la chambre pour enfant ne cachent pas la lumière du jour, réveil donc très matinal ! Concernant la chambre en mezzanine, il serait plus judicieux de mettre 1 lit 1 personne car le lit 2 places prend toute la place, impossible de se déplacer autour. Les SDB sont clairement à moderniser (douche, peinture, isolation, tuyauterie, etc). Dans la cuisine qq couacs : pas suffisamment de cuillères ni de verres et surtout il manquait un égouttoir, nous avons dû en acheter un. L'éclairage de la hotte est HS et la gazinière collée au frigo écologiquement je pense qu'il faut revoir ça. Le frigo est grand mais bon à changer, joint hs, impossible de régler température du froid, et tiroirs congel cassés. Pour finir les extérieurs. Le grand bémol ce sont les menuiseries du bas qui sont toutes à changer, idem pour les volets, je pense que tout ça date des années 40-50....La terrasse est totalement défoncée, des clous dépassaient, avec de jeunes enfants c'est plus que limite. Le portail ne ferme pas, heureusement que c'est un village tranquille.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans cette ancienne ferme rénovée! Tout y a été idéal pour sortir du tumulte du quotidien sans être trop loins de de toutes visites des alentours et de grande villes (Dijon & Auxerre). L’accueil était au top, les lits étaient faits, serviettes de toilettes pour toute la famille, bois de chauffe à volonté, nécessaire de cuisine disponible et œufs frais à disposition. Umfangreich ausgestattet, große Schlafräume. Sehr gemütlich. WLAN funktionierte nicht. TV häufiger ausgefallen als es lief. Sickergrube stank bestialisch. Trotzdem haben wir die Ferien im Burgund genossen und können Haus und Vermieterin empfehlen. Es könnte sich aber lohnen, obige Punkte vorab zu klären.

Rustic Rural Retreat

Just 15 mins off the A6, behind the cream wooden double gates with the number 25 on, lies a comfortable, secluded and peaceful holiday retreat. The spacious garden with full sized ping pong table, hammock, deck chairs, shaded out door picnic table and excellent gas Weber BBQ make a great first impression. The down stairs windows all have wooden shutters, and upstairs have internal shutters which were very welcome as we visited during a 40C+ heatwave. The well equipped kitchen includes large fridge freezer, microwave 4 ring gas hob and oven with all the cutlery and crockery and BBQ tools you will need, whether you eat at the kitchen table or outside under the shade sail. Downstairs has a hall way with wardrobe leading upstairs to the bedrooms, a lounge with 2 sofas (red leather sofa added to website image), log burner and TV. There is a further lounge room which has a low bed, desk and wood burner, this area has a sense of being like an annexe and may suit 2 families sharing the property. Upstairs above the kitchen and lounge are 2 bedrooms- a large double with exposed beams, and a twin with attractive shuttered square windows. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and sink upstairs. Because these rooms are in the roof space there is some restricted head room - we are not a tall family so this was not so much a concern for us. Another bathroom is downstairs reached through the second lounge room, with toilet, shower over bath and sink. This bathroom also has a washing machine and tumble dryer, outside is a clothes line to dry swimming kit, towels, clothes etc. It was very warm when we visited, so we made good use of the lakes near the property- Lac du Pont was an obvious favourite with man made beach, pedal boats, kayaks etc to hire and good swimming area - attached to a camp site. The other lakes are easily accessible and good for safe swimming. Auxerre and Chablis make a good day trip and the nearby Alesia visitor centre is a brilliant visit and on the doorstep. Semur-en-Auxois (10km away) has the nearest super market and is well worth a visit with attractive old town and has a number of good restaurants. The area around Brianny is a beautiful farming area, with a very laid back feel. The property has 2 adult and 2 circa 10yr old child bikes - it was just too hot for us to use them on the canal paths nearby. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in einem einfachen, aber gut ausgestatteten und mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichteten Haus verbracht. Wir waren mit 2 Hunden dort, für die es das Paradies war. Sie hatten Auslauf, waren aber im ummauerten Garten sicher aufgehoben. Aber nicht nur für sie war es ein Paradies. Wer die Natur liebt, gerne ungestört ist, die Ruhe liebt und kein Luxusbad erwartet, für den ist dieses Haus perfekt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und für 4-6 Personen ideal. Die Eigentümerin ist in der Nähe und hilft bei Fragen jederzeit gerne. Es war alles sehr unkompliziert und sympathisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Charmante maison

Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances en famille (3 jeunes enfants). L'endroit est très calme, spacieux et joliment aménagé dans le style rustique. Terrasse vraiment agréable : nous y avons pris la plupart de nos repas. Jardin clos et sécurisé. Hotesse gentille et discrète. Son adorable chien nous rendait visite pour le bonheur des enfants. Un peu loin de tout commerce, mais c'est le prix du calme.
