Classified among “The Most Beautiful Villages of France”®, La Roque-Sur-Cèze is a charming village built on a rocky peak, 5 min. by car or 30 min. on foot.
Below the village, the Sautadet waterfalls impress with their tumultuous waters; downstream, a small stone beach suitable for bathing.
Nearby, the picturesque villages of Goudargues (with its bucolic canal and market), Montclus (with its Mons Serratus abbey and an imposing castle) and Cornillon (with its typical Provencal architecture) await you. It's lovely to stroll through their medieval alleys and discover local products.
Other sites of interest in the region include the Grotte de la Salamandre, the Aven d'Orgnac and the Chartreuse de Valbonne, amongst others.
