Former barn renovated with all-electric comfort; in the countryside in its flowered and wooded park of 3000 m2; the ground floor includes a kitchen equipped with all new household appliances; separate toilets; a bathroom with jet shower cubicle and a sink cabinet; large room / lounge of 50 m2 with TV tnt and dvd player two large sofas 2 armchairs; upstairs, 2 bedrooms with new high-end bedding; a large bathroom with bath and shower a double sink cabinet; separate toilets; our gîte 'les hydrangeas' is 130 km from paris; 70 km from honfleurdeauville 30 km from rouen; all shops are in the center of the village 1 km away; total comfort and tranquility guaranteed .NOTA: FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER MINIMUM RENTAL OF A WEEK; meeting possibility for family meals 22 covers maximum (220 euros for room / dishes / kitchen / accessories) + 40 euros cleaning and various energy package + 40 euros per room and per night

Great place to stay!

Les Hydrangeas combines excellent quietful lodging at the Nord-Normandy countryside whilst very nearby the beautiful city of Rouen, both a cultural and touristical gem , this at only 1 hour drive of the Normandy coast.

Lovely relaxing stay with everything catered for - including great local amenities. Hosts really welcoming and friendly. Plenty to do in the area. Would recommend to family groups. The property even caters for large dinner parties. A lovely warm and welcoming environment - a credit to Claude and Marie-France!

Excellent property and location for exploring the area.

The property is well located, with excellent facilities; it has *two* toilets, a bathroom and a shower room. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The property has a delightful garden with the notable hydrangea. There is plenty to see and enjoy within a 30 minute drive. There is a mini mart in the nearby village which has ample parking. There is a bakery, pharmacy and the aforementioned mini mart. Of note is that the Carrefour contact which is about 25 minutes from the property is open all day on Sunday with a 30 minute closure between 1230 and 1300hrs. Thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Also, if you are to drive through Rouen make sure that you have your crit' air which is based on your vehicle's rating for pollution. These are less than 5 from the official French government website delivered to the UK. Allow 21 days from order to delivery in the UK.

Beautiful property in quiet relaxing location.

We stayed here for a week at the end of August. We were immediately made to feel at home by the owners Claude and Marie-France who were very warm and friendly. Claude speaks very good English which made up for my embarrassing lack of French. The property itself is very clean and very well maintained with everything that you need supplied. It was ideally located for us as we visited, Chateau de Versaille (don't go when it is raining, because everybody else does as well), Monet's Garden in Giverny, Parc Asterix, Honfleur and Rouen. We had a great relaxing week away, I just wish that we were there for 2 weeks, and I would certainly recommend a stay at Les Hydrangeas to anybody. Thank you to Claude and Marie-France for letting us use their lovely property as our holiday home.

Idyllic property

What a wonderful stay in a beautiful property. We had 2 weeks here in August and had a totally relaxing and enjoyable time. The house is exactly as described and is in a perfect location for visiting the beautiful villages and also the towns such as Rouen!Honfleur,Deauville,Trouville,Bayeux. We stayed with our daughter and her family and they went to PAris DIsneyland for 2days. Everything in the house is of the highest quality and CLaude and Marie-France are the perfect hosts. Claude loves to chat and speak English and Marie-France is delightful and if you have any French she is a very friendly lady. All fittings and extras are of the highest quality and in the garden there is a fenced off pond and table and chairs and sun loungers so you can relax in the sunshine. Claude is very helpful and will give you information about local areas, restaurants and local events and he grows the most wonderful green beans !! If you need wi-fi and Internet this is a. It bit and miss but other than that I cannot fault this property at all . I loved it and will definately be returning.

Leuk huis op een groot perceel.

Leuk huis met alle gemakken voorzien, behalve Wi-Fi. Genoeg parkeergelegenheid en erg grote tuin. Huis van eigenaar en van dochter eigenaar staan vlakbij, maar totaal geen last van gehad. Privacy staat voorop. In vijver naast huis, zitten veel vissen. Rondom huis graan-velden op afstand. Snachts heerlijk koel in woning, door koude nachten, terwijl het toch 25-27 graden overdag was. Genoeg schaduw in tuin door grote bomen. Ook veel zon in tuin. Erg leuke accommodatie om nog eens terug te komen

Séjour formidable en Normandie

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un gîte bien aménagé et plein de charme au milieu d'un très beau jardin. La location a été conforme au descriptif proposé et aux photos, propre et très bien entretenue. Les propriétaires se sont montrés très prévenants, toujours près à aider à améliorer le séjour et à faire découvrir la région. Nous recommandons vivement le gîte de M. et Me Roussel !
