Sleeping up to 21 people in 9 bedrooms (weekends, mid weeks and full weeks available). Situated within 7 acres of it's own private grounds, Eskmeals House is a detached residence with 9 bedrooms sleeping up to 21 guests

The house is full of character with large rooms and Multi-Fuel Stoves for cosy evenings. All attractions of the Lake District within easy travelling distance: Muncaster Castle & Owl Centre. Ravenglass & Eskdale Narrow Guage Railway. Eskdale valley and Wastwater. All the major Mountains & Lakes of the Western Lake District. Local Pubs: Brown Cow Inn, Ratty Arms, Ravenglass, converted railway station serving good food with an extensive menu. Children welcome. There are also several other good pubs in the Eskdale Valley.

Great house, we all enjoyed the stay, very comfortable beds 😊

A group of us stayed for the weekend, and although the weather was terrible, even for the lakes 😊, we all enjoyed staying in the house, thanks Yvonne.

We brought activities with us to use outside given that there was plenty of space eg.rounders and football. . There were 16 of us, we were all very comfortable in our rooms which were clean, light and airy. Lots of other rooms to use downstairs so we weren't falling over each other. Plenty of bathroom facilities which were more than expected. Yvonne could not have been more helpful in our requests even lending us a bottle of oil that we missed of our shopping list. We all agreed we had a lovely weekend.

40th Birthday

Perfect house for a famiky gathering. Everything we needed, loads os space inside and ou gir 16 of us. Fantastic large 2nd dining room which easily sat us all. Cannot recommend enough.

Dad's 80th

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating Dad's 80th. The house and setting was perfect. We enjoyed both the house and garden. We had a lovely day at the beach which is a very short drive away. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, can't fault the place Only thing is in the last few days the water was not hot enough but apart from that everything was perfect.
