The property consists of three different housing units located in the historic center of Fonni. Recently renovated, they enjoy the particularity of having been designed respecting the original canons, using recycled materials and trying to safeguard the atmosphere typical of the ancient houses of the place. The formula is that of the b & b (breakfast included) for the weekend, while for longer stays, you have the opportunity to use the kitchenette and dining room at your convenience. All houses are equipped with every comfort: well heated in winter with fireplace and gas boiler. Fresh in summer. TV both in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Washing machine, hairdryer, traditional oven and microwave, safe, parking space and garage depending on availability. Small dogs are allowed upon agreement with owner. h

Great base in the mountains

We enjoyed our short stay in the house in August 2024. It is very lovingly furnished, clean and Mario is an extremely friendly owner.

Nice appartement with garage

We have been there 5 persons with motorbikes. Very nice appartement, enough space. No outside space only a balcony for one person, but we knew before. Garage for all the bikes. Very pleasant host. We enjoyed our stay.

Schöne Zeit

Fonni liegt im Herzen Sardiniens und somit idealer Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte Motorradtouren. Die Wohnung von Mario ist sehr liebe- und stilvoll renoviert worden. Die große Garage kam uns sehr gelegen. Mit 5 Personen sind wir in der Wohnung gut zurecht gekommen. Einzig der Raum (Galerie) ganz oben ist ein wenig knapp in der Höhe bemessen. Ok. Ein weiteres Manko sind die etwas schmalen Betten. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne. Mario ist sehr um die Zufriedenheit der Gäste bemüht. Gegenüber gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine Cafe-Bar. Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Un excellent accueil

La maison est très bien équipée, extrêmement propre et il y a de l'espace. L'accueil du propriétaire est chaleureux et il nous a donné de nombreux renseignements utiles sur le village et les environs. Fonni est situé dans une très belle région, une partie de la Sardaigne "authentique", qui mérite vraiment la visite. Des paysages montagneux magnifiques l'environnent. La mer est un peu plus éloignée, mais tout à fait accessible pour une excursion à la journée, et la côte est elle aussi superbe. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Quiet hideaway, clean, cool interior and attentive host

We met the host, Mario, at his house and he gave us a choice of two houses available. The house we chose was tucked away in a residential area, which was quiet and clean, as was Fonni generally. It was not far to walk to a choice of shops, which was convenient. The roads are all very narrow so it was a bit intimidating driving through them until we got used to it. We had no problem parking the car outside the house. The rooms were large and airy; it is an old restored building so the walls are really thick and the windows small, so even on a really hot day the house remains cool inside. I can imagine it is the reverse in winter. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good, the kitchen was well equipped. A dryer to hang washing on would have been a useful addition. Mario popped by most days and responded quickly to texts, and was a genuinely nice bloke who took pride in his houses and was keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Beste Ausgangslage für Radtouren und Wanderungen in den Bergen.

Bereits mit den Vorfreuden auf diesen Aufenthalt spürten wir die ausgesprochen nette Art des Vermieters Mario Lodde. Dies kam dann während des ganzen Aufenthaltes wieder zum Ausdruck. Besten Dank Mario. Wir (mein Freund und ich) waren hier um in dem umliegenden Bergen unserem Hobby (Radfahren) zu frönen. Dies haben wir auch genossen. Zudem waren wir Gäste beim 4-tägigen Fest Fronleichnam. Typisch sardisch; freundliche und offene Leute. Ich war schon viermal in Fonni; wohl nicht zum letzten Mal.

Ein Traum inden Bergen ! Mitten im Motorradland

Ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit grosser Wohn-Küche. Gemütliche Zimmer, 1 Badezimmer, zweiteToilette, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage im kleinen Ort mit Kneipen, kleinem Supermarkt etc. Sehr zentral auf Sardinien. Optimal für Motorradfahrer. Man ist im Zentrum der Kurven ! Alles war picco-bello sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen !

Modern huis in de stijl van vroeger

Mario verhuurt diverse huizen in Fonni. Alle huizen zijn prachtig nieuw verbouwd in de stijl van vroeger, met veel hout, natuursteen etc. Ons huis had een grote keuken, ruime badkamer, tweede toilet en was verder voorzien van tv en WiFi. Daarnaast was het huis erg netjes en zeer schoon. Parkeren lukte altijd vlakbij. Fonni is een stadje, tegen de heuvel gebouwd, met smalle straatjes meestal met eenrichtingsverkeer. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen (Gennargentu, Supramonte, La Marmora). In de nabije omgeving zijn diverse aardige stadjes en dorpen, met historische huizen, kerken, etc. Fonni heeft een aantal kleinere winkels en voor een grote supermarkt kun je naar Nuoro of Oliena. In de periode dat wij er waren (begin juni) was er het “Festa della Madonna dei Martiri”, bijzonder leuk om mee te maken. Mario was een zeer behulpzame en attente gastheer. “Grazie mille e alla prossima”! Jeroen / Carlo

attraktives Ferienhaus im traditionellen Stil

Das Ferienhaus mitten in der Altstadt von Fonni ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen/Radfahrten in den Bergen Sardiniens sowie für Autorundfahrten zum Besichtigen, da die Unterkunft in der Mitte der Insel gelegen ist. Das Haus in Fonni liegt in 1000 Metern Höhe und ist gut heizbar mit einem grossen offenem Kaminfeuer und einer Gasheizung. Der Holzvorrat im Keller ist ausreichend gross. Der Vermieter Mario ist sehr hilfsbereit und bei Problemen sofort zur Stelle. Im Ort selbst gibt es viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Die Küche mit guten Herd und grossen Kühlschrank ausgestattet bietet aber auch beste Gelegenheit zum Selberkochen. Wer keine Badeurlaub verbingen sondern Sardinien, als Wanderer, Radfahrer oder mit dem Auto erkunden möchte für den ist dieses schöne stilvolle Haus genau das Richtige. Mein Urlaub fand im Mai 2017 statt.

Sapiente restauro

Abbiamo soggiornato in una delle splendide case di Mario in un rigido weekend di gennaio ma non abbiamo assolutamente sofferto il freddo...casa calda sia dal punto di vista termico che dal punto di vista estetico: eccezionale l'attenzione con cui è stata effettuata la ristrutturazione e la minuziosa cura dei particolari. Un ringraziamento speciale a Mario per la gentilezza e la disponibilità dimostrata. Torneremo sicuramente!

Piccolo appartamento molto accogliente

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni nel mese di dicembre nell'appartamento di Mario. E' molto accogliente e comodo, ristrutturato di recente e pulitissimo; ideale per due persone. Il riscaldamento è ben funzionante ed autonomo. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Torneremo di sicuro!

OTTIMO

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questa meravigliosa casa, pulitissima, impeccabile nella ricercatezza delle rifiniture e dei dettagli. L'ospitalità e la disponibilità del proprietario Mario sono state eccellenti . La casa è in una posizione strategica, a due passi dalla montagna ma allo stesso tempo vicinissima a tanti servizi tra cui market, farmacia, bar, ristoranti tipici. Ringrazio Mario per tutto, per la sua correttezza, la sua disponibilità e la sua immensa gentilezza. Non solo io ma anche i bambini siamo stati benissimo, torneremo senz'altro. Consigliatissimo.

Une maison de village au coeur de la Sardaigne

Mario accueille dans trois maisons distinctes réparties dans le village de Fonni. Nous étions dans la petite maison prévue pour deux personnes. Tout y était. Beau, propre, rénové avec goût, bien chauffé (séjour en novembre), pensé dans les moindres détails. Le confort de la maison et la situation géographique au coeur de la Sardaigne authentique nous ont incité, à prolonger notre séjour. Deux semaines pour découvrir sur les conseils de Mario la Sardaigne à l'écart des grands sites touristiques. Un vrai régal. Les attentions de Mario, sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité, le confort de sa maison et le lieu conduisent à une appréciation générale optimale. Faut-il ajouter à cela les "dolci" de la "pasticceria" de Fonni ? Un séjour que nous n'oublierons pas. Si nous devions revenir en Sardaigne, nous reviendrions, à coup sûr, chez Mario, et nous le conseillerons sans hésitation à un ami.

C est une superbe maison atypique, spacieuse et de rénovation récente que vous offre MARIO, le propriétaire à l accueil ultra chaleureux qui sera particulièrement soucieux de votre bien être tout au long de votre séjour ! Avec nos 3 enfants nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, les commerçants sont sympathiques et les habitants n hésitent pas à venir à votre rencontre ! Une belle découverte de la Sardaigne rurale . La Sardegna non è solo mare… Ultra consigliato!

Appartamento rifinito con cura e passione. Abitare qui fa sentire il sapore della Sardegna autentica di un tempo pur usufruendo di tutti i confort moderni. L'appartamento risponde in tutto alla descrizione dell'inserzione ed alle recensioni precedenti. Rapporto qualità / prezzo ineguagliabile in Italia. Giudizio ottimo per la casa e per la zona ancora non raggiunta dal turismo di massa.

Fantàstica estada

Només podem dir coses bones de la nostra estada a Fonni, un poble encantador en zona molt maca de l'illa, envoltat de natura i no massa lluny d'unes platges fantàstiques. Una zona no massa turística i amb molt encant i autenticitat. Vam estat 10 dies en una casa molt acollidora i comfortable, amb una cuina ample i força espai per tots 4. I només podem dir coses positives d'en Mario, ens va acollir molt be, acompanyant-nos a fer alguna que altre excursió i també alguna que altre "birra"', inclús ens va portar alguna que altre verdura de l'hort del seu "fratello". I també vam gaudir del festival de folklore, coneixent una mica mes el ric patrimoni cultural de la illa, amb la representació dels Urthos e Buttudos i gaudint com uns veïns més del poble. Hem estat molt a gust i ens encantaria repetir!

Pleasant stay in a peaceful mountain town

As a young couple with two little children we were looking for a pleasant stay in a peaceful Sardinian town, far from the noise and the muggy weather of the coast. And we got it! In a welcoming town, in a traditional home in the historical centre, renovated according to the local style and equipped with modern comforts. The owner, Mr. Mario, helpful in every occurrence, has proven himself also as a good host to the many summer Fonni's festivals. Strongly recommended.

Una Perla sui monti del gennargentu

Da consigliare assolutamente a chi cerca l'emozione di un viaggio sui monti del gennargentu. Case meravigliosamente gestite dal titolare il quale durante il periodo della vacanza si è dimostrato premuroso e un ottimo consigliere sui posti limitrofi da poter visitare. Le case sono super confortevoli e splendidamente arredate in stile sardo. Ci torneremo di sicuro
