the villa consists of:
1 living room kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4/5),
 outdoor veranda equipped with gazebo, tables and chairs, barbecue, outdoor shower. The villa is located in a park with centuries-old olive grove of about 10,000 square meters. The car and motorbike parking is located inside the property.
The villa is easily accessible as it is adjacent to the state highway 115 at km 383. 4
 1 km from Avola and 800 meters from the ring road junction; it is also distant, along the same state road, only 5 km from Noto and 22 km from Syracuse.
In an ideal geographical context, between Syracuse and Noto, stands Avola, home of the almond tree and Nero d'Avola. To the east the beaches of fine and golden sand embrace the limpid sea, while to the west the mountain welcomes, between waterfalls and ponds, Cava grande del Cassibile. Within a few minutes you can reach: the Vendicari reserve, Marzamemi with its famous tonnare, the island of the currents, the beautiful Noto with its Baroque, Syracuse and the famous Ortigia; in such a special context, the Assennato family, already engaged since the end of 1800 in the cultivation and vinification of the grapes typical of the area, mainly Nero d'Avola, has obtained in the adjoining rooms the Cellar and the owner's villa 4 very nice dependance, finely furnished inclusive of every comfort, for a total of 12 beds.

Zwei Wochen Urlaub in Avola und Umgebung

Die Unterkunft hat eine günstige Lage, um die südliche Ostküste Siziliens zu erkunden. Mit dem Auto kann man die hübschen Städte Avola, Noto, Ragusa und Syrakus bequem erreichen. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Strände sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Entfernung zum Meer beträgt etwa 3 Kilometer. Die Vermieter Francesco und Angelica wohnen vor Ort und sind sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sauber und nach einer Woche wurden die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut. Leider ist die Bezeichnung als "Villa in einem Park von Olivenbäumen" nicht zutreffend. Es handelt sich um ein Nebengebäude, das zum Teil zur Ferienwohnung umgebaut wurde. Die angrenzenden Gebäudeteile werden als Wirtschaftsräume genutzt. Das gelbe Haus auf dem Foto steht etwa 30 Meter entfernt und ist ein Wohnhaus, in dem unter anderen die Vermieter leben. Auch die Angabe, dass es zwei Schlafzimmer gibt, ist falsch. Alle Schlafplätze befinden sich in einem einzigen, großen Raum. Im oberen Bereich steht wie auf dem Foto zu sehen ein Doppelbett. Darunter gibt es ein weiteres Bett, eine Couch und einen Schrank mit Fernseher. Kühlschrank, Herd, Küchenschränke und ein Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen stehen im selben Raum. Abgeteilt ist nur das Bad. Für zwei Personen waren die Ausstattung und der Platz ausreichend. Die Terrasse mit Sonnendach und Sitzmöbeln befindet sich direkt vor der Ferienwohnung. Leider gibt es keine Trennung des Sitzbereiches der Feriengäste vom unmittelbar angrenzenden Parkplatz der Bewohner. Deshalb haben wir den Pool nicht genutzt. Aus unserer Sicht vermitteln die Fotos einen falschen Eindruck. Die Unterkunft ist eine zweckmäßige Bleibe für ein paar Nächte, wenn man die Umgebung erkunden möchte. Für einen längeren Urlaub würden wir die Ferienwohnung nicht unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Good place

We spent 4 nights and really appreciate the location as it’s very nearby of plenty of activities. The only concern could be during the night some dogs barking and noices around could affect people with sensitive sleep…. Warm thank to Francesco & his family despite barrier of language we felt their concern to be sure that we would spend nice time and we did! GRAZIE!!!!

Francesco le proprietaire est un vrai hote qui met sa connaissance de la region et sa sympatie a' disposition sans compter. le studio est frais et a' moins de 10 min de voiture de plages inoubliables.

Ottima posizione e posto incantevole

Assieme alla mia compagna abbiamo vissuto una vacanza incantevole fra natura e cultura. Grazie alla posizione delle Dimore del Carrubo abbiamo conciliato le visite a Noto, Marzamemi e naturalmente Avola fra Barocco, liberty e le spiagge di sabbia dorata. Della Tenuta bbiamo apprezzato il silenzio e la tranquillità degli spazi verdi contornati dagli Ulivi immensi e naturalmente il Carrrubo (oasi di fresco). Il loft è curato nei dettagli. Pulizia eccellente. I proprietari , Francesco e Angelica , sempre disponibili, gentili e mai invadenti. Consigliatissimo.

Molto bello il posto e l appartamento. Cercavamo un posto dove poter stare tranquilli con il nostro cane ed è stato ideale.Mare a pochi minuti così come il centro commerciale . Notti in assoluto silenzio ed aria pulita. Proprietari simpatici ed efficienti ci hanno fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie. Consigliato.

Struttura nuovissima e ottima posizione

La bella struttura è immersa nel verde degli uliveti e limoneti, la posizione in zona molto tranquilla e nello stesso tempo vicina ai molti luoghi di interesse della Sicilia sud Orientale. La dependance dove siamo stati ospiti mia moglie ed io è nuovissima e climatizzata . A un min da Avola e vicino a tante località balneari stupende. I proprietari molto cordiali, ottimi conoscitori del territorio , ci hanno dato qualche "dritta" sui luoghi da visitare : Noto e Ortigia. Abbiamo apprezzato la possibilità di muoverci in bici x arrivare al centro storico di Avola. La colazione al bar in piazza è consigliatissima a chi piacciono i dolci di mandorla e vuole respirare la "Sicilianità" vera, bella ed elegante. Il ristorante adiacente ottimo. Ottimo anche il nero d'Avola della zona.
