2 Bed garden apartment with Air Con/Wifi
A 2 bedroom 1 bathroom ground floor garden apartment set in La Siesta II. The development benefits from communal gardens with swimming pool and sunbathing areas. This is a ground floor apartment with plenty of outside space; an east facing balcony overlooking the gardens and pool and a west facing garden with large terrace ideal for barbecues in the evening. The apartment comes complete with outside sofa and chairs on the balcony and parasol, table and chairs in the garden. Reclining chairs are provided for use either by the pool or in the garden, we also have beach chairs and parasol for you to take to the beach. A charcoal BBQ is also provided in the garden. You enter the apartment through the garden terrace where there is a sun room containing the dining table, before entering the large lounge area with feature fireplace and two comfortable settees. DVD’s, games, books, Internet TV and a Bluetooth speaker to allow you to link your devices are provided for your entertainment. A feature archway provides an open plan feel to the kitchen area which includes microwave and washing machine. The lounge is fully air conditioned. The bathroom features walk in shower, WC, basin with storage and mirror. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom two single beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, a chest of drawers, built in wardrobes and patio doors that lead out to a small private balcony overlooking the gardens and pool to enjoy the morning sunshine. Hand towels & Bath towels are provided for use inside the apartment but please provide your own towels for use at the beach or by the pool. Situated at the lower end of Calahonda, the apartment is very close to all amenities. Within a short 5 min walk is the strip on the Av de Espana featuring local supermarket, bars and several restaurants. A further 5 mins down the hill you will find ‘El Zoco’ with the larger Carrefour, local shops and further bars and restaurants mainly set on the open top floor providing a courtyard feel. Further shops and restaurants can be found along each side of the A7. As the local shops, bars and restaurants are so close a car is not essential though the area is quite hilly so may be preferred. We had a lovely time staying at the spacious apartment, pool area was great, clean, lovely grounds and quiet even though it was in August. Apartment had all facilities we needed, really enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. This property was in the area that we wanted to be in. We walked for miles along the lovely boardwalk and went in the pool everyday.I would say that unless you have a car you do need to be fit and able as there are a lot of up and down hill walking.
Really enjoyable 12 nights in Calahonda. Apartment is great, has everything you need, good WiFi and a brilliant pool5 mins walk to bars, restaurants (recommend Bay of Bengal and La Tasca Rincon) and smaller shops with larger supermarkets about 15 mins.Didnt need a car, everything for us was walkable.Would definitely return!

Minor point; halfway a considerabel hillstreet. You must be quite a strong uphill walker. Parking was sometimes not that easy. Eventually always found a place to park with a small walk to the apartment.
We had a great time at Jenny’s apartment.
Five minute walk to local bars, restaurants and smaller supermarkets and about 20 minute walk to the local beach.
A couple of big supermarkets a few minutes drive away.
The apartment is very well equipped and handy having a washing machine.
The pool is lovely and well maintained. We made use of the beach chairs and umbrella which can be taken to the pool or to take to the beach. We had a car and went to various beaches.
Would definitely recommend the apartment and stay again.
Een heel goede, prachtige vakantie gehad door een aantal redenen: We waren een aantal jaren geleden reeds hier geweest (toen ook al uitstekend bevallen.) De tuin was prachtig opnieuw aangelegd met mooie tegels een prachtig gazon. Het eetgedeelte voorzien van nieuwe stoelen en aankleding. Alles opnieuw geverfd en schoon. Kortom aangenaam verrast !!!!! Een van de andere redenen was het schitterende weer gedurende de gehele maand Mei. Kortom GENIETEN. Bedankt Judy en Solfinders

De uma forma geral o apartamento tem tudo o que é necessário para umas ferias em família, boa localização e uma piscina muito agradável, no entanto a limpeza do apartamento ficou um pouco a desejar, principalmente dos lençóis.

L'appartement est conforme à la description et aux photos. Tout est fourni (sauf serviettes de plage), vous pouvez donc voyager léger !
La résidence est très agréable. La piscine est située dans un très joli cadre, elle est adaptée aux enfants et aux adultes et peu fréquentée. Dans l'appartement il y a des transats que vous pouvez amener à la piscine.
Pour aller à la plage il vaut faut prendre la voiture car c'est au moins 20 minutes à pieds surtout pour revenir car ça grimpe. Nous vous conseillons la plage de Luna Beach plus agréable que celle de Calhonda. Attention prévoir des chaussures de plage notamment pour les enfants car il y a de très nombreux cailloux et rochers pour entrer dans l'eau. Vous avez de nombreux commerces, grande surface, aux alentours et des marchés. La location est bien située pour faire du tourisme. Important de savoir pour les personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher et pour les jeunes enfants que la location est située en haut d'une colline et que donc ça grimpe ++ pour y accéder donc nécessité d'avoir une voiture.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et recommandons +++ cette location, d'autant plus que la communication avec les propriétaires est aussi au top !

Belle région bel appartement très spacieux bien placé entre marbella et malaga. Pas loin d d’la plage.
Je mettrai peut être ´ porte manteau dans la salle de bain car y en a pas . Pas bien grave.

Logement bien situé , agréable car spacieux et les 2 terrasses permettent d avoir de l ombre ou du soleil au choix. Vue sur la piscine et le très joli jardin. Le rez de chaussée facilite les déplacements. On peut se rendre à pieds aux restaurants et commerces les plus proches. Superbe piscine , avec abords fleuris et bien entretenus. Très peu fréquentée malgré la période des grandes vacances. Propriétaires disponibles et réactifs . Bon rapport qualité/ prix

Petit moins: les espaces extérieurs n'étaient pas très propre, notamment le mobilier de jardin et la terrasse.

Le nettoyage du mobilier d'extérieur est quelque chose que nous ferions habituellement mais malheureusement, nous n'avons pas encore pu aller en Espagne cette année et cela a donc été négligé. Veuillez accepter nos excuses.
Perfecto. Lo único desfavorable el que no pudiéramos comunicarnos en español. Aunque las chicas de la inmobiliaria fantásticas nos explicaron como llegar...
Super logement parfaitement équipé et fonctionnel dans une résidence très bien entretenue avec sa belle piscine relativement calme et surtout très peu fréquentée malgré le mois d'août (appréciable). L'environnement proche est intéressant, tout peut être fait à pied (entre 5 et 20 minutes maximum : plage, commerces, bars, restaurants etc...). Pour les visites il faut une voiture, sinon il y a une agence proche qui peut vous proposer des excursions (agence tenue par des anglais pas très aimables). Ici, personne ne parle Français, seulement Espagnol ou Anglais. Le point d'amélioration du logement concerne la literie de la chambre parentale, sinon RAS. En résumé, des vacances parfaites avec le soleil garanti pour un tarif raisonnable. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Lovely stay, close to all amenities, but car essential
The apartment is situated on a fairly steep incline uphill so a car is essential and the surrounding area is very peaceful. Access to the pool is fine and was hardly ever busy, albeit we were staying mid to late September. There is everything in the apartment we needed and is a good base for exploring the area. Air conditioning was still needed at times. There are a host of restaurants close by within walking distance and the beaches are a short drive away and again were not busy at this time of the year. Local buses are good value and frequent. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
