House Rules for Our Holiday Rental and Guest Rooms. The Maison Yoma holiday rental is a detached house adjacent to our home. Other guests may be staying under the same roof. We invite you to enjoy all the common areas at your disposal in a friendly atmosphere while respecting everyone’s privacy. For everyone’s comfort and peace of mind, we regret that we cannot accommodate pets in the guest rooms. Check-in: To ensure the best possible welcome, check-in is available from 4:00 PM on the day of your arrival until 7:00 PM. If you’d like to arrive earlier or later—for example, to drop off your luggage so you can explore the area—please let us know, and we’ll work it out together. Departures: To ensure the next guests have the most welcoming stay possible. On your last day, check-out is no later than noon. Breakfast: Breakfast is served inside or outside the house, weather permitting, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Dinner: If you’d like to have dinner on the evening of your arrival, please be sure to let us know when you make your reservation, or call us at least 48 hours in advance to let us know. Rooms: The rooms are not intended for doing laundry or eating meals. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. We have chosen not to have a television. Illegal downloading is prohibited. During your stay, you are responsible for cleaning your room. We clean the common areas daily, unless you are renting the entire guesthouse—in which case, you are responsible for maintaining the guesthouse during your stay. The guest will be responsible for cleaning up major messes. Valuables (jewellery, multimedia devices, various forms of payment, etc.) must not be left in the rooms: the hosts assume no liability in the event of the disappearance of these items. General Provisions: In accordance with Decree No.2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking is prohibited in common areas. The entire property, including the guest rooms, is therefore smoke-free.
However, smoking is permitted outdoors provided that cigarette butts are extinguished in the designated ashtray. Guests agree to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to report—and be financially responsible for—any damage for which they may be liable. Children on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents. A kettle is available in the rooms, but cooking is not permitted there: the communal kitchen is available for this purpose. Theft and accidents: The owner accepts no liability for theft or personal injury occurring on the property. Eco-tourism: We are committed to preserving our planet and wish to contribute to environmental protection by minimising the ecological footprint of our facility’s operations; simple, low-effort measures can make a big difference. We therefore count on your cooperation to: • avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily, • not let the water run and to use water sparingly when showering, • we prioritise eco-friendly products: laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
