About this property
Gorgeous, peaceful & very central apartment with fabulous views.
- One king size bedroom - One twin bedroom with an additional single bed on request - Two bathrooms, one ensuite shower room plus family bathroom with over bath shower - Historic 1930's lift - 3rd floor apartment with gorgeous views of river, cricket ground & Bathwick Hill
This gorgeous, light & peaceful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft apartment is located in a Grade 1 listed Georgian building on a wide, pedestrianised street. Duke Street is an ideal location for all your city needs with all the sights of Bath within easy reach. Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths & Bath’s many delightful shops are a short stroll from the apartment & Bath Rugby’s ground is a mere 2 minutes walk along the river towards Pulteney Bridge. In addition, there are many fabulous restaurants on your doorstep including the acclaimed 'Sotto Sotto’ on North Parade. When you return for the day you'll be able to put up your feet & gaze at the glorious view of Bathwick Hill & the distant Sham Castle to relax & rejuvenate before the next day.
To help with that home to home feeling there is free Wifi, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer & the comfiest beds we could find. A highchair, cot or extra single bed can be also provided on request. In addition a widescreen TV & DVD player with DVDs of some of the many films shot in Bath over the years are waiting for you.
If you fancy some exercise, Bath Leisure Centre with a pool, gym & exercise classes is a hop and a skip over North Parade Bridge. Whilst for those fresh air fiends, the canal can be easily accessed for walks/runs/cycle to Bathampton (3 miles) & beyond. Bikes can be hired locally or you can bring your own & keep them in Georgian House's basement bike store (please bring your own lock). The canal is also a lovely way to walk to the Holburne Museum.
Georgian House is an amalgamation of three Georgian townhouses & has retained its grand feature staircase from its hotel past. Whilst walking up the wide, shallow steps is different from your usual Georgian building, this apartment is on the 3rd floor. The 1930's lift is there for those who'd like to use it & is very handy when you have heavy suitcases.
A 5 minute level walk from Bath Spa Train & Bus Station, public transport is the best way to visit Bath. If however you need to bring your car Georgian House is very close to three multi-day stay car parks.

Great location in the centre of Bath within easy walking distance to the city sights. The top floor flat is very well appointed and has a lovely view of the River Avon and the cricket ground beyond. An old fashioned lift was a help with the suitcases.
We had a lovely visit in Bath! The flat was beautiful - very clean, bright, and an incredible view. Perfect location - so close to all the major things to see in Bath.
Location…location….location…… this was absolutely perfect for our visit to explore the city of Bath. Literally 5 minutes walk from the station, coffee shops for breakfast and all the city attractions. So many lovely walks to do and amazing restaurants for dinner, all walking distance. The apartment was clean, and well equipped. The host was very easy and efficient to communicate with. Totally recommend. Laundry (and supplies) was a bonus as we had already been traveling for a week.
Great location and cozy place to stay. It had everything we needed to cook and bake a meal and a comforting place to comeback to after a long day of exploring and enjoying a cup of tea.
Great apartment with lovely views, very central and perfect if coming by train. The lift was great for getting to the top floor. If driving there is a car park not far away but they are quite expensive.
Great location to walk to everything in Bath. Place was clean and our family had plenty of room and everything we needed. Would recommend this place to anyone!
Fantastic location, great views over the river, nicely equipped, comfortable beds. very clean. Can’t say enough about this wonderful flat. Will definitely stay here again when in Bath!!
Absolutely perfect in every way. Could not have asked for a better rental experience. Loved every second. Highly highly recommend to anyone visiting bath!
Rachel was outstanding as a host. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Helped us with finding a dinner place the first night. And bent over backwards to make the stay comfortable for us. I have multiple chemical sensitivities and she even went out & got fragrance free detergent to wash linens & towels in. I could not have asked for more. Check in & out details were very clear & easy. Walking around was easy - well would have been if not for the sideways rain for the 2 days we were there!!! Was gorgeous the day we left though!!Thank you Rachel for a lovely stay.
We loved staying at this property. Spacious, amazing views, and close to everything. The host was responsive and brought us an extra fan to accommodate for the summer heat.
My wife and our adult kids stayed in this lovely apartment. The apartment was clean, well equipped with comfortable beds and a nice view. We really enjoyed our visit.
A beautiful property in a central location, within walking distance of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. As a family of four we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time away.
This apartment is a great location for any activities in Bath-- easy walk to the train station, Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, and restaurants. Great space for a family and the views are beautiful. The host is friendly and accommodating when I made a mistake with our original booking. Highly recommended!
Beautifully presented property with gorgeous views and perfectly located from Bath station and all Bath has to offer. The lift was appreciated for our heavy cases and chocolates on arrival a lovely touch. Communication with the owner excellent, already recommending to our family, thankyou Rachel!
