Luxurious apartment in full historical center of the city of Girona.
Apartment in House Estor, neoclassic mansion (small palace) of s. The XIXth placed in the heart of the Jewish neighborhood, to three minutes afoot (by foot) of the points of interest.
Situated in the Jewish neighborhood, just three minutes from Cathedral, the old walls and all the points of interest of the city, in one of the neighborhoods most intimate and full of history: The jewish quartier.
The apartment is in a neoclassic mansiona small palace of the 19th century, called House Estor, with interior court of the epoch. He is characterized by his high ceilings, columns and returns, which are going to inspire love in you.

We have a suite of captivation, with all the comforts, heating, air conditioning, wi-fi, an elegant bath with wide tub; American kitchen, with all the necessary domestic appliances, lounge totally equipped with access to the balcony and an interior terrace where to enjoy your reading, breakfast or snack.
At your arrival you will be got by the owners of the apartment, and will have possibility of permanent contact with them during your stay.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

We loved our time in Girona, and the apartment, in particular. It is located in the heart of the old town and is a short walk from everything Girona has to offer. We will definitely return here.

Girona old town visit

Loved our time here exploring the old town, this apartment is at the heart of everything. Its easily walkable to so many interesting sites. Setting up a couple of gravel rides from this location was also pretty easy as rental companies are also walkable.

Biking Trip

The property is beautiful, set in the middle of the cobbled streets, in a building with beautiful entry doors, very historic. Quiet at night and safe, with multiple locks to gain entry from street. The property is a place I would stay at again if I came back to Girona. We had some minor language barrier issues with the host during booking and the check in process. The host sent correspondence about arrival and check-in in Spanish, and when I requested English (via email one week prior to trip) she did not offer English instructions. The person who greeted us to check in had very little English. We mostly used a lot of hand gestures. It all turned out great, just a small stressor which did not deter us from enjoying this beautiful place. We would definitely recommend this property.

LUXURIOUS EMBRACE OF COMFORT IN A HISTORIC BALCONY APARTMENT

Following the tips for writing reviews: > the listing description is very accurate regarding the location (a historic popular cobble stone street) and about layout and amenities, >the property is extraordinarily clean and well maintained, >the owner provided great customer service, the manager met us at the property punctually and showed us all the amenities of the property, including frosty water in the fridge, chilled glasses in the freezer, gorgeous local fruit, full coffee and tea service, laundry, lavish linens and towels, full kitchen supplies and how to use WIFI and flat screens TV and the owner herself met us and treated us after we had settled in at the cafe in the cobble stone street, >we would love to share this property with friends and relatives many times in the future, >sitting in the cafes in the Placa de la Independencia, tapas at Txacaxa, strolling the bridges, strolling the Gardines de Alemanes, taking the train to Figueres to visit Dali's art, were all close by and wonderful. We enthusiastically recommend this beautiful apartment on Carre de la Forca #4.

City break in Girona

An awkward start as somebody representing the owner was waiting in the apartment, unfortunately we could not initially find the building and the contact number provided by the owner went straight to voicemail - this took more than 30 minutes to resolve. The apartment is gorgeous, as is the area in which it is located. The lack of decent water pressure and patchy hot water supply were a nuisance. We again struggled to contact the owner on check out day. No instructions had been provided so we walked about town carrying the apartment keys until we were eventually replied to more than 2.5 hours after we left a message. These minor irritations did not spoil our trip and the property itself, water issues aside, was glorious and perfect for our visit. It would not suit those with mobility issues as the building does not have a lift and, due to the narrowness of the streets in this historic part of Girona, it is not possible for taxis to get close for pickup or dropoff.

Great apartment for exploring Girona

We were on our first trip to Spain and this apartment was really lovely - comfortable, graciously appointed, personal but not cluttered. In real life it’s even more beautiful than the pictures. Very clean, and a luxurious amount of space for a couple. The host replied quickly to our questions. Having access to the washer and dryer was important to us. This location is right in the middle of the old town of Girona. You step outside into a different century, and we loved the walkability, and access to wonderful dining within steps of the apartment. Old town also means no cars or cabs can access the area. We parked a car at a pay garage nearby (7-10 min walk) and carried our bags in across a bridge and through cobblestone streets. The flat is on the second floor, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down. There are doors to the building and a door to the apartment, make sure you get instructed on using the keys. Old town also means the building is old, so the water pressure is low, as another reviewer stated. The flat itself is beautifully remodeled and completely modern. The master bedroom is over the front street. If you are a light sleeper, you will want ear plugs or whatever. We thought it was amazing and would stay again. We did appreciate the reality checks from other reviewers.

Lovely place and spacious

The place is very nice, and in a great location - close walk to everything. It was fun to stand on the balcony and look down on all the activity below. (It just happened that I was there for the opening of the Flower Festival, and the whole town was packed with people, so this was a wonderful get-away from the crowds) The apartment is incredibly spacious and pleasant. My only problem was getting in and out. I was told someone would be in the apartment to meet me on arrival, but the building is locked and I didn't know which apartment # it was, so I could try ringing the bell. I ended up texting the owner, who must have contacted the person in the building - anyway I eventually got in. Getting out had also not been explained well, as one needs a key to get out of the building, and the keys had to be left in the apartment upon departure. When I texted about how to do that, I was told there was a button on the wall downstairs that would release the lock, but it was very hard to find. It should have been pointed out to me when I arrived. Also, there was very low water pressure in the shower, which I reported to them and don't know whether this was something they could fix. Hopefully it's better now.

Schönes Apartment in zentraler Lage

Der Check in Prozess lief recht chaotisch. Check in ist laut Angabe des Vermieters ab 12:00 Uhr möglich. Statt uns einfach mitzuteilen, dass es später wird, wurden wir gefragt, wann wir ankommen. Wie haben sofort geantwortet. Um es abzukürzen: wir standen mit Gepäck vor der Tür als wir erfuhren, das das Apartment noch nicht nicht sauber gemacht wurde. In der Wohnung keine Info wie es mit dem Müll funktioniert, da waren wir etwas aufgeschmissen. Ansonsten war alles gut. Tolles Bett mit schöner sauberer Bettwäsche. Schräg gegenüber ist eine Bar, die sehr lange sehr viel Lärm verursacht. Daher unbedingt Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen!

Amazing location

Cool spot with a balcony looking out on the old quarter of Girona was terrific. This ended up being Lance Armstrong’s guest quarters so you’ll see and old trophy of his on the wall. The kitchen wasn’t cleaned well which can happen, I was fine with that. The owner was more than helpful. But they could do a better job of giving you home instructions (like using appliances and not getting locked into the inside courtyard😂). Regardless this is a cool place and I would recommend it.

Very pleasant

We were here in october and we had a lovely stay. The apartment is well equipped, a fruit basket as a welcome gift and also coffee cups and tea was provided. It's very conveniently situated in the old centre with lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. Also a supermarket and bakery were close by.

Great location!

Girona is a wonderful little town where you actually walk in the history. And the apartement is part of such a jounrney in the past. In the heart of the medieval Jewish district it is just (luxuriously) perfect. With all the comforts of a modern location. Imma is a discreet and friendly host. In two words: stronly suggested.

Great place to stay in old town

Stayed here in late May for 2 nights. It was a great apartment in the oldest part of the city. Lots of shops & restaurants around but very quiet at night which we loved. We walked everywhere from here. Having a washer & dryer was a great bonus for us. Imma met us and showed us all around the apartment and how everything worked. I would highly recommend this apartment!

Imma place in Girona

Great location in old town. Wonderful walkabouts, shopping and food choices. The apartment very spacious for two neatly and impeccably appointed. All questions easily answered and clearly a ongoing personal concern for our welfare during our stay. tip: Do NOT attempt to get taxi service Wednesday mornings from outside the apartment. All sorts of necessary delivery trucks block road access for hours. Interesting area of a delightful town. would definitely repeat our visit. Bruce
