You will stay in the old barn (pailhot) of a typical Cévennes farm recently restored, the exposed framework and the shale stone walls give an authentic and rustic charm to this gîte. The house is located in a small calm and serene hamlet away from the main roads, surrounded by nature (forest, stream) just 6 km from Villefort. You will reach it by an independent entrance from the rest of the house on one level with an enclosed courtyard of 50 m2 which is reserved for you, very sunny and equipped with garden furniture. From the south side windows you will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountain opposite and the owners' small flower garden below. To reach the house from the village street you will have to descend a 'calade' for 20 m. Good shoes recommended! Sportsmen and fishermen can take their equipment down there: a small room (old 'clède') is available to them at the back of the courtyard.
