A property surrounded by the sweet music of the sea

Just a throw-stone from the sea. Will definitely go back! Highlight of my Mornings ... coffee listening to the waves ❤️ Traditional old style but Property had almost what we needed. Lots of restaurants around supermarkets cafeterias, ideal place to go and chill out! One disadvantage beware to be home with your car if you have one before 8:00pm because they close the barriers to pedestrians and can’t get to your house! We didn’t know that and were trapped out.

Relaxing and charming traditional Greek villa

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the George’s villa. We were 3 families from Timisoara, Romania with kids and the space was enough for us. The villa is a traditional Greek house, in a good condition, clean and fully equipped. The house is not very big but the arrangement is good and has 2 terraces where you can stay in the morning or in the afternoon. You can cross the street and find a small and clean beach, not crowded and an incredible sea. You can also rent a boat and visit other beaches or you can drive by car to Lefkada or to other beaches. Near to the villa and closed to the beach you can find few restaurants and fast foods where you can eat delicious gyros or other traditional dishes. You have also supermarkets in the village. The people are very nice and most of them speak English. We even bought fish and sea fruits from the locals and cooked on the barbeque and the taste was very good. For someone who is looking for a nice and peaceful place, with all facilities this location is perfect. The owner is a nice person even we didn’t meet him personally. I would recommend and visit this place any time.

Excellent home from home

Really enjoyed staying in George's house. Great location in the heart of the village. Having a balcony on both sides of the house meant there was always a shaded area. House is as described and has plenty of space for 4 adults. Anna and Costas next door were lovely and very helpful. If you have kids working at Vounaki, this house provides a great, affordable option to visit them.
