We really enjoyed our stay here! We love the view from the condo and how family friendly the beach felt. The condo was overall pretty clean, the only part that didn’t feel clean was the furniture, so we resolved that by putting sheets over them. Definitely would stay again!

The perfect view!

This is our second trip to this condo and it was perfect, again! The condo is comfortable, nicely updated, and has a spectacular view. The location is perfect. You will NOT be disappointed!

Location is key

Living area updates + proximity to beach that is unrivaled at this price point makes this a fantastic value. Bathroom and lack of basic supplies keep this from a perfect score, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A 30A Gem!

AMAZING views! Gulf front property with direct beach access on the beautiful Hwy. 30 A on Santa Rosa Beach. Peaceful. Very clean. Well appointed. Nicely decorated. An older complex, but well kept and in a prime location. Excellent property management team. We can't say enough positive things about this condo and our stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

Family trip

We have been repeated guests at many of the units at Blue Tide. We love the location. The view is spectacular. Other Mamas Beach chair service is exceptional, so kind. The biggest wish for this particular unit for me would be a dresser with drawers so we could get our clothes out of the suitcases. And did I mention THE VIEW?! Had a great stay! Blue Tide has become our favorite getaway.

The property was wonderful and the host did a great job with communications. This is a calm, quiet, gorgeous stretch of 30A. The beach only has a few families on it. You can look up or down the beach and see large crowds nearby, and marvel at how much privacy you have. The bikes are great, but make sure to have an air pump. When I filled the tires up, both bikes were well below 20 psi. We used the well-equipped kitchen almost every night. I’m happy that I brought a good pan as the pots and pans aren’t the best. Great knives and plenty of everything else. Just a heads up, the unit has no games if that’s something your family is into. I would return to Blue Tide over and over.

Beautiful Stay!

Great spot with incredible views! Loved the beach decor and all the amenities provided. A very convenient set-up for a family with young children. The only issue for us was that on day two we had an issue with the internet not working, which was problematic since we needed to work while on vacation. We reported the issue but It was never resolved.

Beautiful View, Great Location! Only recommendation is the mirror in the bathroom is hung too high, I am 5’5 and could only see the top of my head when standing in front. Would install a mirror on hinges that could tilt down. Thank you for a wonderful week and would def return!

Renovated? Which Decade?

Newly Renovated was the title of the property. When was it newly renovated? 80s or 90s? The bathroom was horrific. Broken door on the vanity. The basin was old and not renovated. The mirror in the bathroom was too high. My husband had to pull gobs of hair and gunk out of the rusted drain in the tub. Gross! Condo could have been cleaner. Also someone parked in our assigned space and we had to find out who it was or it was going to be towed. Horrible TV streaming options. For the price of this condo spring for regular cable. Ended up watching the Family Ties channel. Ugh! Location was good. Most definitely will be looking to stay someone else next time we vacation in 30A.

GREAT VIEW OF BEACH!!!

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE PROPERTY IS THAT IT HAS GREAT VIEW OF GULF! The property inside was nice. However, it was a little smaller than we were expecting. Bathroom and master mainly we small. While we were there, they were doing renovations to the outside. Which although it was annoying to the vacationer. I'm sure it will be nice when it is all done. I just wish I would've known before I booked. Since I really wanted to relax with my family. The management team was very helpful throughout the process. I am going to be honest the view and access to the beach made it all worth it! The place is nice, clean, kitchen and living space are nice as well. Just the master and bathroom were a little small. Love the location, close to restaurant's and shopping!

We checked in with ease, the location is wonderful! What was unfortunate, was that the back sliding glass door to the condo would not lock. We call that night, and were told to find a broom and shove it in the door. It was just my mother and I there traveling with my child, and she was very upset that we were unable to lock the door. The next day we called for maintenance to come see if they could fix it, heard nothing back, and then was not able to secure our condo the second day. The third day we called back to find out what happened, and they said that maintenance came in, and a part needed to be ordered to fix the lock, and there was no guarantee when this would be corrected. We were in and out of condo from the beach, pool, and town, and did not like that someone could at any point be in and out of the condo, and this already was due to a concern with feeling safe. One morning at 0600 while the door would not lock, we got a very loud knock at the front door, It woke everyone up, and was very unsettling. The condo itself was nice and had the necessary amenities and great location, but given 3 stars due to the fact that we did not feel safe for half of our stay, When they communicated that they weren’t sure when the part would arrive to be able to secure the door, we asked if there was another condo we could relocate to, or if once the part came in we could possibly extend our stay one night due to the inconvenience, we were told that was not an option.

Property as described. Great location

Overall this condo is exactly as pictured and in a great spot. The beach was never crowded which I’m assuming is because there wasn’t a public beach access close by which is a huge plus. However there were a few things that the condo should have but didn’t. This is our 5th stay in 30A and we’ve never been left with one roll of toilet paper for 4 people for a week. So if you are flying in, just know you’ll need a taxi or a rental car to take you to the store to purchase more. The beach and umbrella set up was not done by 8:30am as listed but at random times. Our last day, it was not set up until around 10:30am. The kitchen is missing a can opener and a spatula. Not a big deal, but worth noting if you plan to cook a lot. The biggest issue for me is a safety one. I’ve never stayed anywhere where I can’t lock the door from the inside without outside access. There is no second dead bolt or latch. So anyone that has the door code can open the door and enter the condo at any time. As a female, I would never feel comfortable staying alone or without my husband in a place that I couldn’t deadbolt the door at night. I hope the management company fixes this issue.

We love this location and the proximity to the water. We understand that it is only a 1 bedroom, but has 2 bunks and a sofa bed. We feel that the unit would benefit from additional storage for clothing such as a 4 drawer dresser in the bedroom. Even with the 2 of us, we had difficulty with the space. The closet had enough hangers, but only 1 drawer was available in a mirrored unit. Additionally, there were enough towels, but only 1 hand-towel in the bathroom and 2 in the kitchen. We did appreciate the amenities or starter packs within the kitchen, but did find it a little odd that all the makings for coffee were there, including creamer, but not a start filter for the coffee pot. It would have also been helpful to know on the description the type of coffee maker in the unit. Lastly, there were no throws anywhere in the unit. It was chilly a few night, so we found an extra comforter in the closet that we used, So, only a few things. The unit is lovely, but these things would make it spectacular. Also, every person we met staying at Blue Tide was fabulous along with Frank, I think that is his name, who is responsible for the chairs/umbrella at the beach. He is a treasure.

Our unit was a great value. Comfortable, spacious enough. We had a minor issue with the dryer, and tech came within hours to fix it. This unit was not high luxury, but very nice. The 30A Vacay staff were available and helpful. We'd come back!

Great location, a few items need updating

Condo is in a fantastic location and right on the beach. Living area, kitchen, and bedroom were all very clean. Nice to also have the pool - not many of the condo bldgs on the water have that. One item that wasn’t great was the bathroom - it seems to have been partially renovated relatively recently but could stand to be fully renovated. Baseboards very dirty, etc. Also it is time to pony up for a new fridge. The current fridge works, but is pretty dinged up and dirty too. All in all a good stay though
