Great quiet location but a car is needed to get to shops, restaurants & beaches.Plenty to see & do within 50 minutes drive. Or simply sit outside & read a book.

peaceful and gorgeous view

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and comfortable. Excellent beds and linens. A lovely tray of treats and a bottle of wine greeted us. Just minutes from beaches and a quick drive to Chania. We look forward to returning. ps. Sternes is a charming village.

We checked in and realized the location is not sea side or any where near anything. We left within an hour to finish our vacation somewhere else. The owner never asked why or said anything. So

Great view, quiet, calm, relaxing place with outstanding support.

Really close to the airport but also to Chania. Very easy to walk the short cut to Sternes for those without a car. Also easy to walk to 2 beaches and explore the countryside around Sternes. The view is very special, taking in the sea and the spectacular white mountains. We enjoyed a relaxing retreat with no TV, radio, computer or phone distractions and felt wonderfully relaxed. There is a vegetable garden just beside the house. Alexandra supplied us with really useful information before our holiday. Elsa was our host at the property upon arrival. The hospitality throughout our stay was outstanding, far more than ever could be expected. By the end of our week we felt like we had been staying with a good friend. This makes it a particularly special place. We would like to thank them both for enhancing our holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in Chania and Alexandra is such a nice person and wonderful host. She arranged a trip to Marmara Beach where we had a wonderful day. The appartment is in a perfect condition and the the view was spectacular. Thanks for this perfect stay, we come back

La location a complètement répondu à nos attentes concernant la localisation, la vue et le calme. Nous étions très bien placés pour visiter le quart nord ouest de la crête. Alexsandra nous a bien conseillé concernant les visites et les lieux. Et elle a été disponible au moment de notre arrivée. Un seul petit bémol le wifi serait un plus.

Alles perfekt

Den bisherigen Bewertungen ist fast nichts mehr hinzuzufügen und können von uns bestätigt werden. Wir haben uns in diesem tollen Ferienhaus mit gemütlicher Terrasse und traumhafter Aussicht sehr wohlgefühlt und würden auch jederzeit wieder buchen.

Ein wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil

Alles hat wunderbar geklappt, Alexandra war sogar an unserem Anreisetag für uns einkaufen, da wir noch kein Auto hatten. Wir konnten jederzeit unsere Fragen stellen oder über Alexandra ein Auto mieten oder auch ein Taxi bestellen. Die Aussicht ist einfach wunderschön, wir haben die Abende auf der Terrasse sehr genossen. Kalathas Beach war unser Lieblingsstrand und auch ein Besuch der Höhle "Lera" lohnt sich, aber man sollte gut zu Fuß sein. Ein Besuch von Chania sollte man vermeiden, wenn Kreuzfahrtschiffe in Port Souda anlegen, da die Stadt dann wahnsinnig voll ist. Ansonsten ist Chania immer ein Besuch wert, toller alter venezianischer Hafen und eine schöne Altstadt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Kleines Manko war der laute Gesang der Zikaden und das Überfliegen der Militärflugzeuge. Das sollte man vorher vielleicht wissen. Bei der schönen Unterkunft hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Einmal die Woche wurde sauber gemacht, frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher, das war sehr angenehm. Wir wünschen Alexandra ganz viele zufriedene und liebe Gäste.

Sauberes Apartment mit grandioser Aussicht

Wir waren eine Woche in dem Bungalow und waren total begeistert. Der Empfang supernett, die Aussicht wie auf den Bildern, das Apartment Tiptop sauber. Einzig zu erwähnen: Hin und wieder Düsen die Jets der Militärbasis über die Köpfe hinweg. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen! Umgebung: In der Nähe gibt es schöne Strände und Chania (ca 15-20 Min mit dem Auto entfernt) ist als Ort wunderschön! Wir waren dort abends hin und wieder essen.

Es hat alles gepasst!

Die Fotos entsprachen der Realität! Der Ausblick war sehr schön und der kleine Bungalow war wirklich privat. Man hat dort absolute Ruhe und kann seine Privatsphäre geniessen. Alexandra war für uns per Handy immer erreichbar. Wenn wir etwas benötigten, war dieses fast sofort da. Sie kümmert sich sehr um ihre Gäste! Man kann es nur empfehlen! Zur Info: Der letzte Weg zum Haus ist etwas steil. Sollten wir wieder in der Gegend Urlaub machen, dann kommen wir gerne wieder. André und Silke

Traumhafte Aussicht

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach traumhaft und auch die Ausstattung dort lädt zum verweilen ein. Das richtige zum ausspannen und wohlfühlen. Wir wurden vorab mit allen nötigen Details versorgt und es war auch jederzeit ein Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Einfach super!

Wir hatten nie einen so gut organisierten Gastgeber. Allein die Vorabinformationen waren einfach toll. Angefangen mit Adressen für Ärzte, Tips zum Einkaufen und Restaurants, dem Einkauf der Wochenendverpflegung bis hin zu einem sehr warmherzigen Empfang war die Begleitung durch die Eigentümer einfach schön. Das Objekt selbst liegt sehr ruhig in einem wunderschönen Garten. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, einschließlich frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten. Einfach ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, Wohlfühlen und Kraft tanken. Von uns ein ganz klare Empfehlung.

Perfect spot, perfect place

Great place, just right for a week's break, unbelievable views, close to beaches (~5 minutes drive) and restaurants. You do need a car with a bit of oomph, though - up two steepish hills.

Petit coin de paradis

Petite maison parfaite avec tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Vue magnifique, terrasse très bien aménagée et jardin très agréable. Petit coin de tranquillité avec un accueil super d'Elsa et Alexandra .

Beautiful property, fabulous views.

The owners , Alexandra and Elsa, were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had very detailed information sent to us before we left which made everything very easy,from driving to our accommodation to choosing where to visit , and recommended restaurants. The situation of the garden house was very beautiful, overlooking the sea, and very peaceful. The house itself had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay there , and plan to return.
