Weeks vacation in Monte Ruivo

The properly is as we see it on the VRBO site, a small but cosy house near some fantastic beaches in one of my favourite places in Portugal. Just a small note that the Wi-Fi was not working which for me wasn't a big problema since the objective was to spend some quality time with my Kids... Would return in the future.

Never got the property as the door could not be opened without extreme difficulty, neither by me, nor by the cleaning lady whom I called for help. To put it short: We didn’t get a cosy little house, but got problems instead. Too dangerous to be in a house you were’t sure to get out of in case of eg. fire.

Urlaub in der Algarve

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Das Häuschen ist ausreichend für zwei Personen und bei kleinen Problemen wurde uns sofort geholfen. Trotz des etwas regnerischen Wetters konnten wir fast jeden Tag in der tollen Landschaft genießen.

La casa è esattamente quella descritta, in una zona tranquilla ma comoda per raggiungere le spiagge della zona di Aljezur in 15 minuti. La permanenza è stata piacevole. Unico difetto la porta di ingresso con una serratura un po' difettosa.

Gite agréable

Gîte relativement bien situé sur route peu passante. Toutefois quelques suggestions d'amelioration: un accueil personnalisé, c'est aussi pour les échanges que nous faisons cette démarche, une bouilloire, des chaises longues et un parasol, un minimum de produits d'entretien et de lutte contre les fourmis assez présentes. En comparaison avec notre Gîte précédent, faible rapport qualité/prix. Permet cependant de bien rayonner sur toute la région.

Sorry for the Ants but many times depend on the guests..must be very careful not leaving on the floor something they can eat..moreover the house is in the real country. The house is a single house totally independent with its own garden. Honestly i find very hard to find another solution at the same price.

Es casa pequeña, pero graciosa. Pero falta casi todo el equipamiento. El propietario no responde.

La casa es pequeña pero simpática. Pero no hay muchas de las cosas que aparecen en el anuncio de Vrbo, por lo que se hace muy incómodo. No hay microondas. No hay TV. La wifi está en la otra casa vecina del propietario, y a esta casa pequeña no llega nada de la señal. Todos estos servicios están publicados como disponibles en el anuncio. Tampoco hay cobertura para móvil, por lo que no hay forma de comunicarse. Muchos de los muebles de interior y de jardín que aparecen en el anuncio y las fotos NO están en la casa. Y lo peor es la cama; el colchón es viejísimo, por lo que es una tortura intentar dormir. También estuve 3 días sin agua caliente, por un termo mal mantenido. Isabel, que cuida la casa, intentó ayudarme en alguna cosa, pero casi todo depende del dueño, que no respondió a mi correo pidiendo ayudara en algo. Tener en cuenta que la casa está a pié de carretera, por lo que se aparca en el arcén de la misma. También hay que ir preparado para el ejército de hormigas que habitan la casa, y que atacan en inmediata manada cualquier alimento que dejes sin envasar estanco.

Cómo en casa

Esta hermosa casita típica del Alentejo hace que te sientas como en casa. Muy bien ubicada para poder visitar muchas de las principales playas de la zona, no muy lejos de algunos restaurantes o pueblos como Aljezur dónde tienes de todo, pero en medio de la nada, lo que hace que haya mucho silencio y mucha paz. La casa está bien equipada y aunque tiene aire acondicionado no nos hizo falta encenderlo porque está muy bien aislada. El porche está muy agradable para desayunar, o estar un rato por la tarde o noche. Y la terracita de arriba para por la noche tumbarse un rato a ver las estrellas es fantástica. Sólo tuvimos un poco de problema para encontrar la casa, y con las hormigas, ya que no puedes dejar nada de comida fuera, pero sin importancia. La recomiendo totalmente!

Inconvenientes de esta casa

No nos daban información completa, sobre la wifi, sobre la cobertura, y al llegar no hay wifi, no hay cobertura, sin TV. El inmobiliario nada accesible, nos remite a la señora de la limpieza, que solo habla portugués, muy difícil comunicación, tanto para la entrega de la casa, como a la salida .son instrucciones de la vitrocerámica ni de la lavadora. La nevera oxidada. El entorno es muy bonito y tranquilo.

Estuvimos en 2013, hemos vuelto en 2022 y cuando podamos, sin duda, volveremos. Casa de pueblo coqueta y bien conservada, con buen jardín. Entorno y tranquilidad de montaña, cerca de las playas más vírgenes de Europa y con un cielo estrellado como en pocos sitios se puede observar. Eso sí, las carreteras son bastante rudimentarias, aunque no suelen estar muy concurridas. Un sitio para conocer

Nettes kleines Haus, ruhig und sauber, ideal für 2 Personen. Die Ausschreibung auf Fewo direkt stimmt jedoch überhaupt nicht: Es gibt, trotz aller Bemühungen, kein Internet/WiFi, TV, Backofen oder Mikrowelle! Kochplatten sind teilweise defekt Die Gartenmöbel bestehen aus zwei alten angebrochenen Stühlen und einem Tisch Die Kategorie "Haustier erlaubt" wurde nach unserer Buchung geändert in "nicht erlaubt", wir bekamen auf Nachfrage aber eine Genehmigung Es ist jetzt eine Waschmaschine da, aber leider keine Bedienungsanleitung.

Boa estadia, com algumas sugestões de melhoria

Localizacao perfeita para quem pretende conhecer praias únicas da costa. Sítio calmo, vizinhança calma. Sem wireless, problema que foi reportado mas não resolvido. Algumas falhas na limpeza (pratos com gordura, pó nos moveis do quarto). Nao havia desinfectante disponível, pelo que compramos e demos uma limpeza para maior conforto. Apos isso, semana muito boa.

Muito relaxante

Gostámos muitos dos dias que passámos na casa do Alberto. É uma casa rústica com óptimo espaço exterior e tudo o necessário para uns óptimos dias de férias. Fomos muito bem recebidos e a Isabel acedeu prontamente a todos os nossos pedidos. Apenas a internet é que funciona muito mal. Não por culpa do dono mas sim da empresa que fornece o 4G. Nos telemóveis pessoais foi a mesma coisa. Talvez noutra altura do ano seja diferente. Óptimo para quem tem animais de estimação e gosta de estar perto das praias mais selvagens da Costa Alentejana. Sem dúvida que queremos voltar!

Paz no campo, mas pontos a melhorar.

Casa pequena e acolhedora. Bem terraço para apanhar banhos de sol, e área exterior boa para refeições e para quem viaja com animais (tínhamos um cão grande connosco). Contudo, tem algumas coisas a melhorar. A porta do quarto raspa no chão ao abrir, sendo bastante incómodo. A casa de banho não tinha produtos de higiene, nem mesmo sabonete liquido, estava no fim. Podiam ter disponíveis alguns produtos como shampoo/gel, chá na cozinha, detergente (uma vez que tinha máquina de lavar a roupa). Se marcar estadia, é melhor que venha preparado para isto. Durante os primeiros dias não tivemos net, mas a Isabel trouxe um router e ficamos resolvidos quanto a isso (uma vez que dados móveis só se subissemos para o terraço). Os contactos presenciais com a Isabel foram bastante bons, foi super simpática connosco. Cuidado com a porta, que fecha ao bater. Ficamos numa situação preocupante, a porta fechou e ficamos trancados no exterior, sem telemóvel nem chave do carro. Lá nos safamos, mas ficamos extra cuidadosos após isso.

Excellent stay in beautiful, tiny house

We had a great stay! Communication was very quick and friendly, and spontaneous. Thanks! The house was exactly what we very looking for as a little family with a 1 year old child. Everything as promised, peaceful and charming and well in order, but not too luxurious at the same time. A sun umbrella to take to the beach would be the cherry on top of the cake ;)

Casa rustica simpática

Casa (Pequena do Monte) rustica simpática, ideal para quem quer descansar. Por ser uma zona de campo aconselhamos algum produto para afastar mosquitos. A senhora responsável pela casa é muito simpática. Como temos cães foi muito bom podermos levá-los connosco. Gostámos muito, foi muito agradável.
