Provence and the mountains are united, Guillestre is at the gates of the queyras, near the park of the casins, the lake of greenhouse ponçon, paradise of the hikers on foot and by bicycle: mythical passes: izoard, vars, galibier, agnel, montgenèvre, all white water sports, Mediterranean climate sunshine of 300j. Chalet well located in relation to the center of the viilage. 5 'walk but in a quiet area. Walks and marked trails from the village

180 km of slopes, the domain offers all the activities to the lovers of the slide. For cross-country skiing and beautiful snowshoeing, the small villages of Queyras will offer you a large choice of ballads Abriès, Aiguille, Arvieux, Molines, Ceillac, and St Veran the highest village in Europe will charm you. For your kayak trips: and rafting many possibilities with the Durance and Guil.

Convenient Location, Comfortable, Quiet Setting

This apartment is located close to the old town so it is easy to walk to the boulangerie, grocery store, and other services. It is well furnished and stocked for easy living. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. You can sit on the front patio and look at the mountains and hear the cathedral bells in the distance. It's a very comfortable place to stay. Guillestre is a great little town with lots of recreational opportunities nearby for all seasons.

Perfect location and hosts

We stayed in this attractive chalet for 10 nights. It was the perfect location for us - plenty of opportunities to walk locally or to drive further afield to view the fabulous alpine scenery and observe the wide range of birds, butterflies, wildflowers and other wildlife. There are stunning views from the chalet over the mountains and Guillestre itself, which is within a few minutes walk. Janine and Jean-Louis were perfect hosts making us extremely welcome and always being available to advise - not to mention patiently tolerating our limited French language skills. Most enjoyable holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the chalet.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement situé tout près du sympathique village de Guillestre.Tout était parfait et conforme aux indications du site. Avec en plus de délicates attentions préparées pour nous dans le frigidaire à notre arrivée. Et la petite terrasse ouverte sur un joli petit jardin soigné était vraiment très agréable.Grand merci à Janine et Jean-Louis pour leur accueil chaleureux, les conseils qu'ils nous ont donnés pour découvrir la région et l'envie de revenir une autre fois.

Excellent (trop) court séjour dans cette location à Guillestre, où nous avons été très bien accueillis par Janine et Jean-Louis Chaix. L'appartement est agréable, proche du centre du bourg mais très calme. Nous avons fait de belles balades dans cette région magnifique, dans des paysages très variés, montagnards ou provençaux..

Mémorable et fortement recommandé !

Nous avons passé neuf jours merveilleux dans l’appartement de Janine et Jean-Louis au rez-de-chaussée à Guillestre, une petite ville parfaite dans les Alpes françaises. L’appartement était propre, bien pensé, bien équipé, joliment décoré et très confortable. Il est également parfaitement situé à distance de marche des restaurants et des magasins et dispose d’un parking gratuit. Nous avons été accueillis personnellement et invités à profiter du beau jardin spacieux. Le salon fonctionnait parfaitement pour recevoir quelques amis pour le déjeuner et aussi jouer de la musique ensemble. L’appartement bénéficie d’une exposition plein sud avec une belle vue sur la ville et les Alpes. Guillestre est un délice, à proximité de nombreuses attractions et d’un équilibre parfait entre activités et tranquillité la nuit. Nous espérons y séjourner à nouveau dans un avenir proche !

Perfekte Wohnung mit herrlicher Aussicht.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentrumsnah, in einer ruhigen Gartenumgebung. Zum Haus gehört ein abgeschlossener Hof, ein gepflegter, wunderschöner Blumengarten, von dem aus Sie einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge genießen können (Risoul, Col de Vars...). Das Parken von Autos ist in einem geschlossenen Hof möglich. Auch Fahrräder können sicher untergestellt werden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, komfortabel, geräumig und sauber. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und Radsportfreunde. Wir erhielten viele nützliche Tipps und Ideen für die Erkundung der umliegenden Berge und Straßen mit dem Fahrrad. Wir können die Wohnung jedem nur empfehlen, er wird es sicher nicht bereuen. L'appartement est très proche du centre, dans un jardin calme. La maison dispose d'une cour fermée, d'un beau jardin fleuri et bien entretenu d'où vous pourrez profiter d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes environnantes (Risoul, Col de Vars...). Le stationnement des voitures est possible dans une cour fermée. Les vélos peuvent également être stockés en toute sécurité. L'appartement est très bien équipé, confortable, spacieux et propre. Les hôtes sont extrêmement sympathiques, serviables et passionnés de vélo. Nous avons reçu de nombreux conseils et idées utiles pour explorer les montagnes et les routes environnantes àG vélo. Nous ne pouvons que recommander l'appartement à tout le monde, ils ne le regretteront certainement pas.

Un petit gite très sympa entouré de fleurs

Nous reviendrons surement dans ce gite pour plusieurs raisons. Le gite est très fonctionnel et il n'est pas loin de la ville Dans le gite il ne manque rien. Les propriétaires sont très sympas et très discrait. Ils sont toujours à l'écoute avec le sourire des questions qu'on leurs demande sur leur belle région

Perfect base for your Hautes-Alpes stay, summer or winter

We had the best time at Janine’s Guillestre apartment – it’s totally private and separate from the main house, with beautiful views and everything you could wish for in the well equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and sitting room. All the rooms are a good size. Friendly, helpful, warm hosts and the central location to our races in Risoul, Vars and Mt Dauphin made this a holiday to remember! Outstanding value, too!
