This charming home was designed for your vacationing pleasure. Located in the heart of downtown yet set aside in a quiet neighborhood, you can walk to all the best shopping, restaurants, and events in Colorado Springs in 5 to 10 minutes, including close proximity to the Pinery at the Hill, Colorado College, the Pikes Peak Center and the Fine Arts Center. The drive to Old Colorado City is 5 minutes or Manitou Springs is 10 minutes.

NIKOLA TESLA LIGHTNING LABORATORY:
This character house has been completely renovated with a modern and industrial look and feel and designed with the decor and history of inventor Nikola Tesla. Come inside to enjoy an awesome combination of woods, metals, and materials and learn a little more about electricity in the late 1890's.

HOUSE:
Designed for Your Comfort - Keep warm and cozy in the winter with radiant in-floor heating. We install window AC units in the main floor bedroom and living room during the warmer months.

2 BEDROOMS & 2 BATHROOMS:
The main level bedroom has a queen size bed with high-end plush mattress and contemporary furniture and fixtures. The 4 piece bath is adjacent to the bedroom and has a dual shower head, and large soaking bath. The main floor provides accessibility for those who want to experience the Colorado mountains without using stairs. All hardwood flooring!

The downstairs bedroom also features a queen size bed with high-end plush mattress and contemporary furniture and fixtures. A make-up area is tucked away in the bedroom and utilizes an old singer sewing machine as the table. Open the walk-out patio door and you can enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon drink in a truly unique outdoor space with industrial medal chairs and side table. The adjacent bathroom features a rain shower and large vanity.

LIVING:
The living room includes a charcoal leather couch with pull-out queen sofa sleeper, entertainment center and large flat screen tv.

KITCHEN & DINING:
The modern kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking at home a pleasurable experience. You'll find stainless steel appliances, glass cook top, and a modern dining table with contemporary chairs that seats 6. You'll enjoy the chalkboard ceiling with images depicting tesla's design ideas and famous quotes.

Enjoy the 300+ days of sunshine in Colorado Springs by barbecuing and eating at the 6-top picnic table on the outdoor brick patio.

LAUNDRY:
The main floor bathroom contains a stackable washer/dryer to help keep up with the dirty clothes you create while exploring the mountains.

ENTERTAINMENT:
The downstairs is well appointed and packed full of memory-making capabilities: large den with entertainment center, flat screen tv, foosball table and bar top, board games and books.

PARKING:
This is a quiet and set aside neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking directly in front of the house.

Upon reservation confirmation, Guest will need to complete a Rental Agreement which outlines the terms and conditions for use of our property. This is the same as the terms listed on VRBO but we require your signature as a condition of our permit with the city.
