Enjoy a relaxing coastal getaway in this spacious and beautifully appointed two-bedroom, two-bath condo, located on the first floor of one of the most sought-after buildings in Indian Shores. Situated in a building directly on the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, this Gulf-front community offers a heated beachfront pool, barbecue grills on the pool deck, and private beach access—perfect for soaking up the Florida sunshine.

The condo is fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen for easy meal preparation, and private, covered, assigned parking within a secured lobby.

The private balcony, accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom, offers a limited view of the beach and nearby pool. (Please note: the condo’s pool is located on the north side of the property; the visible pool belongs to the neighboring building.)

This condo comfortably accommodates up to six adults. The living room features a sleeper sofa, the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, and the guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed plus twin bunk beds. Guests will enjoy cable TV with over 70 channels, free wireless internet, and all linens and towels provided—including beach towels. Very nice

Great location

Very secure condo with ample parking space. Pool was a little cold - it would have been nice to have it heated more but plenty of chairs . Every thing we needed was in condo and would definitely recommend

Nice condo complex

It appeared that the condo had been empty for a while, the toilet seats had some mold but were easily cleaned with lysol wipes. The pool area was very nice and kept clean, especially the bathrooms. The beach was very nice. The unit has pretty much everything you need for making meals. We had a very nice stay while we were there. There were a number of cockroaches in the bathrooms during the 6 weeks we were there. Was very convenient to be on Gulf Blvd to take the bus up and down the coast.

Thank you for your comments. Housekkeping was in the condo just a day prior to your stay to touch it up for your arrival. I apologize that they missed the toilet. The unit and the entire building is under a monthly pest control service. Unfortunately, because of our climate, they still get in. Because there is a monthly service for pest control, we could have sent them back if you had brought it to our attention during your stay.

Nice experience

The property was nice. My husband loved that there was grills to cook on. The downfall of the condo is that the floors were not very clean and they don’t clean under beds/furniture. Food and garbage under the beds and in the pull out bed in the couch.

Took out grills without notice and left people who wanted to cookout nothing to use. Very unprofessional. Was told to get out of the pool and pool area at 9 and said police were called. Was insalting.

The property was nice and as listed on the website. Couch and loveseat could use a little updating, but pull out couch had a very nice and comfortable mattress. Beds were also very comfortable. Check in and checkout was very easy. The only issue would be the cleaners need to a better job getting stuff off the floor in the corners. Would stay here again!

Relaxing beach trip

We thought we were getting a beach view but our room was on the first floor and our balcony was the size maybe 3x5 feet and overlooking the pool at the Nextdoor condo. We didn’t find the pool pool to our condo until the 2nd day. The master bedroom bed was recently replaced but the second bedroom beds were not comfortable at all. Investing in a good mattress for the full and bunks would be beneficial. I would also do a check after the cleaning company cleaned. The shower in the front of condo had mold so thick at the bottom of the door and the shower mat was horribly stained. I had the opportunity of managing housekeeping at a Hyatt Lodge. I emphasize changing cleaning companies. A clean condo brings people back. I would also invest in something more than one ply toilet paper. Cheap toilet paper tells people the management skips on things that may be important to others. We were also charged a refundable $1500 damage fee but after ten days we have not been refunded. . When we booked the condo, this fee was added on at the last minute. Joselyn, the property manage was very nice and very helpful but I would inspect the condo for cleanliness before allowing the next family get into for their stay

A convenient condo with a short walk to the beach

I loved this property for the location and amenities, but it was not managed well! Upon arrival we noticed that condo had not been cleaned well. There was hair in the bathroom drawers and shower, a large cockroach half dead in the bathroom, and the floors felt very dirty on bare feet (we removed our shoes at the door). After being in the space for a couple hours we all noticed the bottom of our feet were black with dirt and my crawling infants hands and pajamas were black from the dirty floors. We checked out the chairs out on the porch bin to prepare for our day at the beach and could tell they were mostly bent, rusty, and mostly broken. I decided to contact the property manager over the cleanliness and the broken chairs. She brought us out new (extremely cheap from Publix) beach chairs the following day and coordinated for a ‘cleaning company’ to come out and scrub the floors. After the cleaning crew was supposedly there to clean the floors the cockroach remained and the floors looked and felt just as dirty to us - there were just some lines on the floor where a wet mop pushed some dirt around. There was no mop in the condo for us to use so we had to get down on hands and knees and scrub the floors with dish soap and misc rags that were around the condo. Not something I had in mind to have to do during my vacation, but with a little one crawling around they were just unacceptable. The keys for the gates were difficult to use and often got stuck and required a lot of jiggling. The crib advertised is a pack and play and the base/mattress was broken and unusable. The high chair was nice but I also had to clean up dried food from the previous renters before use. On the bright side, the beach is gorgeous and the water is calm and warm. The pool claimed to be heated, but it did not feel like it. The ocean water was much warmer than the pool. My child shivered in the pool so unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool. The condo otherwise had everything we needed. The beds are far from comfortable and the knives are all super dull, but everything else was comfortable and convenient. I would return again to Beach Palms but I wouldn’t rent this unit under current management again.

NICE VACATION

Very nice condo. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. It is in need of new living room furniture. The couches are really broke down and very hard to get up from. Other than that it was exactly how pictured. The Pool needs umbrellas for shade but was very well maintained and the outside restrooms by the pool were very clean.

Its clean, well stocked, and very cute. Pictures showed a board walk onto a fishing pier, but it was the property of another building . So we couldn't use it.Any issue we had was addressed by management quickly. Except when we attempted to contact them after checking out regarding 2 new fishing poles we left behind. We tried calling and sent a text no one responded.. Couldn't lower temperature at night below 70 so it wasn't a good sleep. Other wise great place, good service

Month long vacation - returning VRBO guest

Wonderful location, we love the Gulf beaches, and have been here many times before. This was our worst experience as far as accommodations go. The unit has been neglected, and needs work. Although it is well equipped and all appliances functional it is in very poor condition. The unit is very musty smelling and has a serious cockroach problem. Although there were several attempts to get rid of them, the problem persisted throughout our stay. Would not recommend this unit as it is.

It is very puzzling that the guests before and after your stay have not encountered any pest control issues. As you are well aware all the condos in the building are on a monthly pest control service. To date since your departure, there has been no issues with the bugs you mentioned.

Very easy to rent on Vrbo. The open floor plan of the unit was nice and inviting. Loved how master bedroom was away from spare bedroom. Master bed is needing to be changed-not the most comfortable. Also floors in condo needed to be cleaned more-spots on kitchen floor and dirt/ hair other flooring.

Nice place to stay for a week

The only thing that did not work in the unit was the ice maker so we had to buy bagged ice all week but other than that it was a nice property to stay at and we liked having beach equipment there for our use also. One day while grilling at the pool we felt the property manager or maintenance person specifically came over to us and seemed rude about where out armbands were which we had. But we noticed he didn’t ask anyone else.

Family Fun!

We stayed in Unit 101 at Beach Palms last week! The condos are right on the AWESOME white sand beach and the pool was perfect too! Our unit was clean and comfortable, but the decor and bedding/mattresses could use an update. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen... plenty of dishes, pots/pans, and glassware. (There are also two community gas grills and charcoal grill options too) I was surprised the unit only came with one bath towel per person and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Dishwasher detergent pods would have been nice too. I've stayed in VRBOs MANY times and never had to provide my own toilet paper for a week-long stay. We were glad to have an assigned parking spot and had no issues accessing the unit upon arrival. The building was quiet and we did not experience any disruptive neighbors. The guests we met were all friendly and enjoyable. The condo is within walking distance to a few fun places - mini golf, bird sanctuary, ice cream shops, and a few bars/restaurants. Cannot beat the AMAZING SUNSETS! We would recommend this condo for future stays. NOTE: After booking we were charged an extra "fee" to cover some sort of "Florida Tax" that was not included in original fees. Thought that was a little shady.

Thank you for your comments. Our vacation rental properties are self catering and we provide starter supplies. Guests usually provide their own during their stay. We are happy to provide additional supplies when asked. I apologize that this information was not disclosed to you. VRBO/Homeaway had implemented a change regarding the sales tax. The state requires 7% and the county requires 6%. Depending on when you made your reservation, only the county 6% sales tax was collected by VRBO/Homeaway and we had to collect the state 7%. We guarantee that the additional tax you paid was legal and was remitted to the state of Florida. As of December 1, 2018, VRBO/Homeaway has made changes to comply with both the state and county requirements regarding sales tax.

We loved the location with the beach and eating options. The pool and condo was great.

Overall we had a good experience with this rental. The condo was as described in the vrbo add. Clean, right on the beach, with beach toys and chairs (although a cooler would have been a nice perk), access to a heated pool and a pack n play for our little guy to sleep in. There was maintenance on the pool deck for 5 of the 7 days we were there which wasn't ideal. Everyday a new section of the pool deck was closed off while staff sprayed what smelt like sealant. You could still use pool, minus the sectioned off area and had to endure fumes while they were spraying. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because once we paid our balance (in December 2018) the owner stopped responding to messages, emails or phone calls. 24hrs before our departure in February 2019 we still hadn't received any response to emails, vrbo messages or phone calls and had no check in information besides address provided by vrbo. After we contacted vrbo we did manage to get a response from the owner and were given check in info. We gained access to the condo with no problems.

Hidden costs

The condo is nice. There is a view of the ocean. The furnishings were comfortable. The bad part of my stay and review is the owner and management trying to charge me more money. As VRBO users know : we select the dates and request booking. The price with all the cost comes up breaking down the taxes and management fee. This is where the price jumps up... which is normall. We paid then the request for booking was accepted by the owners the following day. A few days into my stay I was contacted and sent a request for more money. They state that VRBO messed up and did not charge a tax. I was contacted again by the property manager a few days later. I said the price I see on VRBO is used in my choosing one place over another and that the owners had accepted the request to book which means they excepted the money they saw I paid. Now my vacation is over and the owners have sent me another notice saying I am late on an invoice requesting payment. So be ware.... I have been using VRBO for 11 years and have not had this problem before.

VRBO/Homeaway made a change effective October 1, 2018. They are now collecting the tax. The required tax for our area is 13%, 6% to the county and 7% to the state. Unfortunately, VRBO/Homeaway is only charging and collecting the 6% tx. We are still required by the State of Florida to charge and collect the 7% tax. The quote you received only included the 6%. Therefore we are trying to collect the 7% tax that is due from you. We are not trying to collect from you anything more than what is due and you are required to pay. We have sent you several payment request which you ignored. You are welcome to confirm this with VRBO/Homeaway. They are fully aware that the changes they made are inaccurate and inefficient. You are also welcome to confirm with the State of Florida Dept of Revenue that you are supposed to pay 7% tax. This change has caused major issues not only for us but with everyone in our county. According to VRBO/Homeaway, they are aware of this issue and they are receiving multiple complaints about it. Your balance for the 7% tax due remains unpaid.
