Cosy house in St. Goustan

We had a very nice week at this gite. Just a few steps to the old port with its restaurants and bars. And a lovely walk into the center of Auray. The house has everything you need and parking is not far to find. Merci bien!

Our Favourite Rental In France!

Clean, warm, extremely quiet and very well-located. Plenty of free parking at 300 metres (on chemin de Bellevue). Many excellent restaurant options within an easy stroll. Geographically well-located for visiting many destinations in Brittany.

Well situated and quiet location

Really well situated near the centre of St Goustan and very quiet. On street parking nearby was generally easy but a few times we had to park in nearby public car parks. Well situated for visiting most parts of the Gulf of Morbihan. Accommodation was fine for two. At our age (76) we found the stairs a little difficult and the bed very low.

Wonderful stay

The property was beautiful with everything needed to make a very comfortable stay. The house has a lot of historic character and charm and is extremely well situated, being within easy walking distance of some great bars, cafes and restuarants. We are very happy to recommend it to future renters. Valerie and Thierry were friendly and charming despite communication being made more difficult due to my lack of French language. We would definitely look to stay again in the future.

Smaller than it looks!

Excellent location for access to Port Auray, Carnac, and other surrounding areas, but smaller than it appears in the pictures. Guidance to find it were a bit confusing, instructions to ignore the no entry sign except for residents would have helped! Plenty of parking close by was available most of the time. Some confusion over provision of linen, believe that the property is listed on two sites, one stating that linen is provided, the other that it can be rented.

Great sleeps!

The property is over 250 years old and has a certain charm with old beams and a quirky layout. Set up a hill from the bustling waterfront, but within a couple of minutes walk from it, we were able to enjoy peaceful, quiet nights sleep, and also make the most of the village and all its environs had to offer. The bed was comfy!The only part of our experience I didn’t particularly care for, which is not unique to this house I know, was the need to preorder bed linen and towels, and to decide whether to pay for a cleaner or do it myself at the end of our stay. In order to clean to an excellent standard there should be enough cleaning materials to do so. Also things like hand soap and toilet rolls were not adequately provided. These small things can make such a difference in my view.There were a few velux windows which were grubby on the outside, and the shower door seal could do with replacing. Otherwise, the house was as described and fitted its 3 star rating.

Ein toller Ausgangspunkt für die Bretagne, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, die Schlafzimmer sind nicht voneinander getrennt ( durch die Treppe offen nach unten als auch nach oben) ganz oben absolut nur für Kinder, ( ob das praktisch ist entschiedet jeder für sich). Kommunikation mit Vermieter schwierig, bei uns nur schriftlich, Anrufe wurden nicht entgegen genommen.

une semaine au calme loin des lieux trop fréquentés. Le logement est très agréable et ne manque de rien.Très bonne halte malgré un temps un peu froid mais nous avons pu visiter les environs. Nous avons eu un peu froid dans l'appartement mais c'était la reprise des locations et nous n'avions qu'a contacter Valérie pour lui signaler mais c'était plus que supportable.on recommande sans problèmes

Schönes altes Fischerhaus, sehr zentral gelegen

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig das Häuschen für zwei Tage gemietet und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Wir haben uns in dem Haus wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Man ist zu Fuß in zwei Minuten am Hafen und in 15 Minuten auf dem Marktplatz von Auray. Vielen Dank liebe Valerie

Das Ferienhaus ist geschmackvoll und umfangreich ausgestattet, die Vermieterin Valerie sehr um uns bemüht. Der kleine Hafen mit schönen Restaurants ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Das haben wir immer zumindest für einen gemütlichen Abendspaziergang genutzt.

Un très beau logis

Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans cette maisonnette, située à deux pas du port de Auray, magnifique endroit avec des restaurants de qualité. La maisonnette est fidèle aux photos, avec une ambiance très chaleureuse. La chambre a l’étage destinée aux jeunes enfants est vraiment mignonne. Point de départ idéal pour de nombreuses balades à pied ou vers les villes environnantes. Il ne faut pas hésiter à passer par le port pour se rendre en centre ville, c’est rapide et très joli !

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au gîte. La maison est très jolie et agréable . Notre fils a beaucoup aimé la chambre des enfants . Et l'emplacement super. Le port d'Auray accessible à pied, un parking au bout de la rue et une facilité a sortir pour aller explorer la région qui rendent le séjour très appréciable . En résumé de bonnes vacances . Merci pour tout .
