Why they chose this property

The house is located in the Douro region, in northern Portugal, which is one of the most famous wine regions of the country, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the birthplace of Port wine, and the first demarcated wine region in the world.
you will be able to see the typical landscapes of Douro area: Douro river, wine resorts(Quintas), plantations of olive trees, orange trees, almond trees (best time to see these trees in flowers is February /March)

And you will discover the real flavour of an orange when you will eat one direct from the tree .You can find mature oranges more or less all year long. The smell of flowers of orange trees is also wonderful.
