Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with spectacular ocean views and only a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes walk down to the beach. Overlooking downtown Vallarta in the 5 de Diciembre area, this condo is in a quiet location and offers a modern full kitchen with granite counter tops, a breakfast bar and stools All stainless steel appliances, full oven and microwave. A washer and dryer are in the laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. A king bed in the master bedroom with a sliding door to the patio. There are 2 queen beds in the second bedroom with a dividing curtain. One bathroom is en-suite to the master and the other just outside the second bedroom. Views from the patio provide breathtaking ocean and jungle views both day and night. Just minutes to shopping, and restaurants.
Sit on the patio and enjoy a fabulous sunset or walk into town for some delicious food

The condo was spacious and well stocked. The location was great, as we could walk down to the beach in 15 minutes and take a 4 Uber or taxi back up at night. It was really peaceful to be at the top of the hill as opposed to on the Malecon.

What an amazing condo in a desirable location! Lots of great places to eat and visit. Just be prepared to hike up and down the mountain- but that helps wear off all the cervezas and street tacos! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at this property. The place was larger than we expected and well equipped for our week long holiday from Boxing Day to just past new years. The views were amazing and we found the short uber ride from all the amenities was very inexpensive The host and property manager were very responsive. I would definitely stay here again

Top of the hill and quiet

Nice enough property, we knew we were in for some walking/taxis renting at this location, we never did walk back up the hill. Quiet location, a few distant roosters. Four of us stayed and there was plenty of room.

Gorgeous

We loved our stay here. Property managers Layce and Alejandra were super conscientious, responsive and very welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet, and the unit is large, beautiful and beautifully maintained. Would definitely book again! Thank you!

Large space with a beautiful view!!

Property was as advertised. Up the hill overlooking the water...hill, not so bad as my children walked up a few times:). Pool was right out our screen door which made it very convenient. Kitchen could use some more pots/pans. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again!!!

Absolutely beautiful!

Amazing communication. Loved the condo. Pictures don’t do justice for the beautiful property. Locals were inviting and friendly. Loved to be away from the masses but close enough to partake in activities. We walked everywhere and had no problems.

Great view

Property is nice, pool not heated but bearable, not really a walling property. Upstairs neighbor has a yappy dog that goes off at 2 am and onwards... So sleep can be interrupted.

Lovely condo with great view!

The condo was very clean, extremely well equipped, spacious and relaxing. The kitchen is very large and has most every pot, pan, appliance and utensil you could need! Air conditioning works very well, but we found we almost never needed it as there was usually a great breeze coming in. The pool outside the patio is gorgeous, well maintained and clean. Ramon, the caretaker for the property is great-super helpful and does a great job! Lance, the property manager, was quite helpful and reached out to us to make sure we were doing ok. The hill to the condo is very steep and paved with cobblestones. Walking it is not for the faint of heart, but manageable. An Uber ride back up is extremely reasonable. Lovely local restaurants with excellent food! The welcome email from the hosts was packed with very good information-extremely helpful! The residents we met were friendly and nice. We really enjoyed them. Overall, a great experience. I recommend it highly. It was just me and my husband but easily could accommodate 4 or 5.

Our family including my wife, my daughter and her husband and 7 month old baby, and I just had a wonderful stay at the Bahia Vista condo. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed making dinners and using the pool. The neighbors were all friendly and the building manager was very helpful. Allison, the owner, was great at communicating with us if we had questions. During the recent unrest with the cartel, we appreciated Allison’s flexibility when our flights home were cancelled. She let us stay extra days and kept in close contact with us. We felt very supported. We loved our visit and having this apartment as our temporary home.

Beautiful PV

I stayed here for a week with my husband and baby to escape the harsh Canadian winter. The property manager, Layce, was very welcoming and quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. The property is located at the top of some steep hills with uneven roads so it is best to bring comfortable shoes if you plan to walk. The condo looks nicer in person than in the pictures! There is ample space and a well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the AC perked us up after long days of walking around town. Please be mindful that this condo is not wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms could use a refresh but the water pressure is good and everything works. The pool is well maintained and is supposedly open 24 hours - I tried to go for a solitary swim one morning at 6:30 and was angrily shushed by one of the neighbours… and no I was not doing cannonballs :). The height of the building keeps the pool deck shaded all day, which I enjoyed because it meant no sunburns for me. The wifi is a little spotty and Netflix took a long time to load in the evenings, but who needs technology when you are surrounded by the beauty of Puerto Vallarta. There are lots of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall I enjoyed my time here.

Excellent stay!!

Had a great time, pool was nice to have and clean. Hill was a good workout but beautiful view. As stated by others we walked down but used a Uber most of times backup. Building Manager(Layce) was great to work with, always got back to us right away and give us great recommendations on places to eat and what to see.

Great views!

Wonderful spacious condo with fabulous views. Small complex of only 10 condos so had the pool to ourselves for the whole week. The only downside is the location in the mountains with really rough roads or about 300 steps to go down to the beach. We had to get a taxi to go back up everytime. Layce, the property manager was very nice and helpful.

The condo is very spacious and nicely decorated. The view of the bay area from your patio is wonderful. Only a few steps away from the pool which is very nice on a hot afternoon. Very quiet area up in the hills. Walking down to the downtown area is not too bad but you need to be in good physical condition if you want to walk back up to the condo. Suggest taking a cab back. The Mexican Market just down the hill from the condo is great for produce and seafood. Layce, the property manager, was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely location, great stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights over new years and it was perfect. Clean spacious area. It is close enough to the malecon to walk, but far enough to not hear the noise at night time. It was a great place to start to end my stay in Mexico.

The condo is in a very nice modern building overlooking Puerto Vallarta and its bay. There was plenty of space for the four of us, a terrific kitchen with all the amenities, nice bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful poolside terrace.

As a flight attendant for a major airline, I had the opportunity to stay in many beautiful resort hotels. This property is an absolute standout however for the most incredible, authentic and memorable vacation you will ever have in Mexico! It exceeded all of our family of five person's needs. There is actually two queen size beds in one room and a king bed in another. There are two very nice sized bathrooms of which I have three young adults as children so we were never in each others way. The kitchen and living areas are state of the art. This was truly a friendly, local and safe haven where we could unplug and enjoy our family! We awoke every morning and went to sleep with a view overlooking the ocean and city lights of Puerto Vallarta as well as the pristinely kept pool. We walked down the hill to the market which had the best home made tortillas you will ever have. From there you can catch the city bus to the Malecon as well as anywhere you would like to go. I would highly recommend this property above others not only because of its comfort but the truly local essence.

Puerto Vallarta Vacation

Our trip got off to a rocky start. We were left stranded at the PV airport after our driver, Luis, failed to show. We couldn't reach Luis or Jose. We eventually found the place and able to secre a key. After that we very pleased with the place. it was well appointed. Had everything you needed to set up home for a week. The view was spectacular from the bedroom, living room or patio. The place was very large and could easily accommodate six people. It was located in the hills above Old Town. You could walk form the condo to Old Town if you were a walker. We took a cab which takes about five minutes and the fare was very reasonable. I highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a home away from home. If you are not interested in staying in one of the many tourist resorts and want some peace and quiet this is the place. When we go back to PV we will try to rent from Jose again.

I loved the view from the patio. I could see the bay as well as surrounding jungle. It was quiet at the condo. Taxi ride to the Malecon was less than $5. I will definitely return.

Our requirements for our dream condo were for it to have a view of the bay, a quiet patio or balcony where we can sit in the morning with coffee or evening with a cocktail.
We wanted to be within walking distance of downtown and the beach. This condo meets these requirements.

We like this area because you are only a 5 minute drive or 10 minutes walk to downtown and all the action, yet you can come home to quiet and just relax.
